30 Days of Passion and Revenge-Chapter 84: The Endless Crave
His lips still tingled with the sweetness of her breath, a sensation that left him with a soft sigh of contentment. Her essence was something he knew he would never tire of.
His hand gently encircled her tender form, and he drew her into the warmth of his embrace. Their lips met in a fiery exchange, his mouth savoring her taste as the lingering cloud of Vanessa’s perfume dissipated.
He tenderly pressed his lips to the faint bruises marring her visage, his tongue soothing the tender skin. His gaze delved deep into her eyes as he sternly commanded, "Lily, from now on, you are not permitted to wander off alone."
The memory of the vicious blow from the previous night flashed through her mind, and Lily couldn’t help but feel a twinge of discomfort. "Would I dare? Not afraid of your retaliation?"
Ethan held her gaze, his lips descending once more to claim hers in a gentle caress, his arms enveloping her as he inhaled the pure, refreshing scent of her being.
"I’ve told you to be obedient; why do you always treat it as a mere afterthought?!"
"Because you’re suffocating my freedom," Lily retorted, trapped in his powerful embrace. "We started on the right foot, didn’t we? I need to have my own career and my own life. I can’t just stay at home, waiting for your attention."
She stumbled over the word ’advances,’ feeling the constraints of her current predicament. She was not a concubine in a harem, idly waiting for the emperor’s favor, devoid of any autonomy.
Ethan’s brows arched slightly as he lifted her chin gently, his voice firm and resolute, "Lily, you need nothing more than me. Having me is all that’s necessary."
She felt chained to him, her every movement monitored, her heart’s allegiance unconfirmed. Regaining her freedom would only erect more barriers between them.
His brand marked her body and heart; they were his, and nothing else mattered.
"What do you mean, having you is enough....?"
"What?"
"Nothing."
She had wanted to ask when he would grow tired of playing with her. Tiring of her would mean regaining her freedom, but voicing the question would only provoke his anger. It was best to let it go.
"Ethan..." Lily hesitated, then inquired cautiously, "What do you despise most about women?"
Ethan’s eyes darkened as he pondered the question. He had never indeed considered it. He detested women like Vanessa, but he cherished women like Lily.
Even her innocence and disdain were traits he yearned to conquer.
The most irritating woman was not Lily.
Unvoiced thoughts, Ethan instead embraced her, his lips seeking hers in a kiss that captivated him with its clean, pure fragrance. Most importantly, this woman had been his and his alone from the start, untouched by any other.
Lily offered no resistance, allowing his affections to wash over her.
Being by Ethan’s side had become a familiar routine; he was in a favorable mood when he was willing to kiss her with genuine affection.
It meant the issue of her wandering had been temporarily set aside, and he was no longer pursuing it.
Ethan carried her forcefully across the threshold of the Blackwood family villa and bellowed, "Nanny! Order a wheelchair!"
"Yes, Mr. Blackwood." The Nanny emerged, spotting Mr. Blackwood with Lily on the living room sofa, and immediately grasped that the couple had reconciled. With a smile, he inquired, "Mr. Blackwood, Miss Anderson, what would you like for dinner this evening?"
With one arm around Lily and the other propped on the sofa, Ethan met the Nanny’s gaze. "From now on, no stimulating or raw, cold foods will be allowed in this house."
"Understood, Mr. Blackwood." The Nanny, smiling, took his leave.
Lily lifted the handcuffs on her wrists and questioned, "Can you remove these?"
Ethan’s lips curled into a mischievous grin as he tousled her hair, his tone condescending, "That depends on your conduct. I’ll consider it if you’re obedient."
Ethan relished the idea of her submission, her love for him.
How was one to be obedient?
Like Bobi, she was wagging her tail at the command to do so, spinning in circles when told?
Recalling the lively and endearing Bobi at the beach house, a warm smile graced Lily’s lips.
Ethan promptly kissed the smile away, his voice rich with magnetism. "What are you laughing at?"
Lily shook her head. "I was wondering if I should wait for you at your door like a dog, ready to run to you each day when you return."
Her words were laced with irony, implying his view of her as a lowly creature.
Yet, she painted the picture vividly.
Ethan, intrigued, kissed her cheek. "Granted."
If, upon her return every day, she leaped into his arms, the feeling would be delightful.
Lily felt futile as if she were a chicken trying to communicate with a duck, and she puffed out her cheeks in frustration.
Ethan’s wicked grin appeared as he pinched her cheek. "Squatting isn’t necessary; just wait at the door daily."
".... You pretend you didn’t hear that."
Lily let out a forced chuckle.
"If you don’t say it, show it through your actions." Ethan pressed her down onto the sofa, his long legs careful to avoid her injured foot, his hands pinning hers, his short hair falling as he looked down at her with a condescending gaze.
Could this man think of nothing else but physical intimacy?
"I’ve started my period," Lily stated weakly.
"And?" Ethan questioned rhetorically, his fingers tracing the furrow of her brow, his eyes filled with desire. "You’ve been running around for two days without a word, Lily. You’re not planning to ignore this for those two days, right?"
She had thought he was done pursuing the matter.
"Ethan....."
"How many days does your period last?" Ethan inquired suddenly.
".... Five days."
"Good, Lily. After these five days, you’ll have to make it up to me, double." Ethan declared, his smile sinister.
"Make it up?" Lily froze, the intense longing in his eyes sending a shiver down her spine.
After these five days, how could she make it up to him?
Would it involve pulling her into the room for another round of intimacy? Could he have any other pursuits in mind? Why did he only focus on this?
Moreover, hadn’t he already vented this morning?
That voluptuous E-cup Vanessa, hadn’t she been enough to satisfy him?
His physical prowess was already astonishing, and if he were to press for another five days, would she survive?
Lily suddenly wanted to suggest he seek out Vanessa again. "I mean, you could go find....."
"I remember the uniform you bought last time; you haven’t worn it yet. After these five days, wear it for me." Ethan’s gaze lingered on her pink lips, his tone threatening. "Otherwise, I can’t guarantee I won’t touch you during these five days."
This was a blatant threat!
Uniform seduction.
How long ago was that, and he was still fixated on it!
That garment, so scant it barely covered her breasts and hips, what was the difference between wearing it and being unclothed?
If she donned it, she would still be catering to his vulgar tastes and still be consumed.
"Is there a third option?" Lily asked with a tinge of bitterness.
Ethan’s revealing gaze traveled from her lips, settling on the curve of her chest. His large palm followed, pressing and kneading without weight, his voice dripping with sensuality. "I’ve looked it up.... even when a woman is menstruating.... it can be done."
He spoke slowly.
They deliberately enunciate each word for her to hear.
Bare and unapologetic.
Lily’s face flushed as if on fire. Was this man’s desire so insatiable? Didn’t his morning release count? Even with someone menstruating! 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶
"We’ll discuss it then."
Lily reluctantly acquiesced, pushing against his solid chest, her body twisting and struggling to rise from beneath him.
Suddenly, her leg brushed against a hard, burning spot beneath his abdomen....
Lily stared at Ethan in shock. Was he reacting so swiftly? They were merely hugging and kissing.
A fleeting glimmer of embarrassment crossed Ethan’s eyes as he tugged at his tie and stood. "I’m going to take a shower," he said.
Are you taking another cold shower?
Watching Ethan retreat, Lily was still in disbelief.
Hadn’t Vanessa’s E-cup this morning been enough for him?
Did he genuinely have such boundless stamina? Such vigor?
Lily’s heart suddenly raced, and she patted her chest in relief. Fortunately, her period provided a reprieve.
After dinner, Lily emerged from the bathroom, applying cream to her face, her wrists still shackled. However, Ethan didn’t insist that the Nanny follow her every step of the way.
"Mr. Blackwood, these are the plans I’ve devised against the Carter Group; please review them."
A strange man’s voice suddenly echoed from the study.
Carter Group?
Lily’s heart leaped with alarm, and she approached the study door, cracking it open to peek inside. The room was empty, only the fax machine busily spitting out A4 sheets, the text densely packed.
Lily pursed her lips and entered the study. She noticed a voice message on the open laptop, likely the stranger’s recent statement.
Lily was taken aback when picking up the papers from the fax machine.
These were detailed plans for a business assault on Carter Group’s International.
Why wasn’t Ethan ready to let go of Carter Group?
Lily flipped through the pages quickly. Many of the terms were beyond her comprehension, but she understood it was an intricate business strike report.
The ultimate goal was to absorb Carter Group’s International.
"Finished your bath?"
Ethan’s voice startled Lily, scattering the papers in her hand. She turned to look at him, bewildered.
"Why are you so frightened?" Ethan placed the steaming coffee cup on the desk and bent to retrieve the fallen papers.
Lily quickly joined him, squatting to gather the documents, and ventured, "You’re still not ready to let Carter Group go?"
"When did I say I was ready to let Carter Group go?" Ethan responded matter-of-factly, taking the papers from her and aligning the page numbers.
How had Carter Group offended him?
Was it merely because she had a minor encounter with Alex’s car? Why was he still holding a grudge?
"I thought that incident was already behind us," Lily spoke softly.
David was dead, Carter Group had taken a significant hit, and even if they didn’t strike again, they’d need time to recover before regaining their strength.
"Behind us? They can still abduct you in a car?" Ethan slammed the information on the desk and spoke coldly.
Damn.
How could she forget she had also gotten into Alex’s car at the hospital?
"I’m also to blame for that incident. I thought it was a car driven by Cipher before I got in the wrong one," Lily said cautiously and inquired, "Have you.... contacted the Carter Group side?"
If he had approached Carter Group, wouldn’t Alex soon learn that her partner was Ethan?
Then, many things would become inexplicable.
"I went to the hospital to see that old man, Bill Carter!" Ethan lifted his coffee cup and took a small sip, his voice unusually cold. "He insisted he hadn’t seen you and had no idea where that car was headed. If it weren’t for the fact that he was an elderly man lying in a hospital bed, I would have dragged him out."
Thank goodness he had a conscience...
"Haven’t you seen me mean you showed my picture to Bill Carter?" Lily asked again.
Quickly answered no, no...
"How else would he know?"
Another sentence results in Lily’s extravagant hope.
But looking at Ethan’s typical reaction, Lily couldn’t help but ask strangely, "Didn’t he say anything?"
"What should he say?" Ethan raised his eyes and glanced at Lily, leaning on the edge of his desk. "What exactly are you concerned about? Are you interested in Carter Group? Or are you interested in fighting against Carter Group?"
