"What is this thing? It’s not a key at all! I really don’t understand what the Ice and Snow Fairy is doing with a token!" Chu Linfeng said as he looked at the token in his hand.

It was a token made of gold, engraved with some text that Chu Linfeng couldn’t understand. Feeling frustrated, he placed it into his storage ring.

"This token is a valuable thing. If you can collect five tokens, the Ice and Snow Fairy will appear. Don’t underestimate it; in terms of value, this token is even more useful than a key," said the Sword Spirit.

"What’s the deal with these five tokens? How do you know just by looking at the writing?" Chu Linfeng found it very strange. The words on it were what the Sword Spirit called the Immortal Seal Script, which people here shouldn’t recognize. Even if they got the token, they wouldn’t know how to use it.

Chu Linfeng felt as if he had walked into a Jungle Wolf’s den, suddenly surrounded by hundreds of Jungle Wolves. It was a frustrating feeling; these Jungle Wolves should be in the jungle, yet here they were on this endless prairie, with a massive one over three meters tall.

Seeing that massive wolf, Chu Linfeng immediately understood it was likely the Jungle King. If he could slay it, maybe the key or token would appear. But with so many Jungle Wolves, he found it nearly impossible to accomplish—at the very least, he couldn’t unleash the highly powerful Star Slash.

Using the power of thunder and lightning could slay them, but it would take time and wasn’t very effective. At most, he could kill a dozen or so at once. If surrounded by Jungle Wolves that launched an attack, he’d have no choice but to use Earth Transformation to escape.

To slay these Jungle Wolves, he needed to densely gather them. Although Chu Linfeng was in the encirclement, the Jungle Wolves were still too dispersed. To inflict significant damage over a large area, he had to lure them together. He burrowed back into the soil, moved to the central position, and quickly enacted several Wind Transformations, unleashing Wind Blades at the nearby Jungle Wolves.

With his current diminished strength, Wind Blades couldn’t slay the Jungle Wolves, but they could inflict some damage. Soon, Chu Linfeng provoked the pack’s anger, and many Jungle Wolves charged at him. Previously, with the Wolf King’s presence, none of them moved, but now it was different.
