Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven
Chapter 511: The Importance of Soul Power and Gaia’s Ascension
Grey soon began the analysis process.
[Your comprehension defies the heavens! By observing a Star Spirit, you have gained comprehension into the power of Star Spirits.]
[Your comprehension defies the heavens! By observing a Star Spirit, you have gained comprehension into the power of Star Spirits.]

Insight continued surging through Grey’s mind. Soon, he came to understand the true essence of these Star Spirits’ power.
The one standing in front of him was a 6th rank Star Spirit, and right now, the power he had comprehended from it was unmistakable.
"Soul power." Grey was baffled.
This went beyond his expectations. To think these Star Spirits also used soul power?
No, the star power they possessed was a perfect combination of the raw power of a star and a soul.
They were in fact 4D beings!
The thing sustaining them was soul power, and their soul integrity was unquestionable.
"Even the Star Spirits use soul power."
The traditional method was using the Origin Will’s power to increase one’s own power. Honestly, if he wasn’t wrong, it was most likely the Origin Will actively helping the evolvers with their stabilization.
Because the incremental cosmic spark of an immortal at the 6th rank didn’t have much going for it.
Or maybe the act of increasing the cosmic spark had a direct effect on the soul, or perhaps it held secret powers that could theoretically stabilize the instability?
"Actually, if my 6th rank had twelve levels instead of six, then it might not have necessarily blown up."
The partial reason for one blowing up after metamorphosis is precisely due to that; the power jump is just that high. Adding the factor of still trying to gain control over such an immense leap in strength, the instability was bound to happen.
But looking at the Star Spirits now gave him a new thought.
He now fully confirmed it.
Soul power was the absolute key to 6th rank stability.
As for optimization and controlling reality, he still had to give it some deep thought.
"Thanks, looking at you was very helpful." Grey thanked the spirit and swiftly began recording its energical data into his massive server.
He was now at a point where as long as he had the proper data, he could create living beings.
If he had the memory data stored directly in the information layer, then even if someone died, he could perfectly recreate them.
Of course, creating a technology where one could store their memory waves and update it every five minutes was entirely possible. The quantum computers could hold massive amounts of data, and he could also create a real-time pocket server to store it. If it could contain the complete consciousness of a transcendent being like Eterna, he was sure it would be able to store memories forever.
On that note, he decided to actually make one and give it to his close ones. That way, even if they died, he could just simply recreate them.
He could effectively bring them back from the dead.
Life and death was still a very uncomfortable topic among evolvers. Even 8th rankers faced death, and reincarnating is quite a hurdle using just one’s own power.
But Grey could not only bring back the dead, he could do it with a casual wave of his hands. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂
This was his current state of power.
Soon, Grey and Kaelith arrived back in the Nexus Domain. Then, Eterna also appeared beside Grey.
"Where did you go?" she asked softly.
"I went to find some Star Spirits for Gaia." Grey paused, then smiled. "But it seems like you have fully regained your memories back."
"Yes, I have." Eterna gave him a very dry smile.
Grey was genuinely surprised. "Did you just smile?"
"Not bad. Was it you, Eve? Are you giving her lessons on smiling?"
"Of course. My sister needs this training or else she will forever be an emotionless block of metal."
"At the same time, I have been taking care of Miwa as well," Eve said proudly. "Now I am the older sister among us four."
Grey chuckled at this.
The three AIs had collectively agreed to Miwa being their fourth sister as they shared the exact same origin. Miwa herself didn’t have any problem with that; in fact, she looked quite happy about it from what he understood.
Soon, he went up to Gaia.
"It is ready," Grey said with a smile.
He swiftly scanned her energical data and descended into the information layer. Two informational humanoid structures made of pure codes and data appeared before him.
"They are not that different. The only difference is Gaia does not have the innate ability to produce the energy of a star, and she also does not have the innate ability to merge with the star with her will to create star power."
Speaking of will.
The will of a world and a soul were fundamentally different. They worked the same way, but they were different in nature. He didn’t know exactly how they differed, but he could clearly feel that they were. This was probably the exact reason why she had not become a Star Spirit naturally.
But Grey could easily change that.
He just needed to arrange her will’s frequency into the exact same structure as the Star Spirit, containing both the soul and star power.
He waved his hand. Glowing codes and data erupted as he continuously refined the information. Soon, he completely merged them both and even added some of his own abilities into Gaia before finalizing the customization. She had been of immense help back on the Blue Star; he would be doing her a disservice if he just simply transitioned her into a basic Star Spirit.
"Do you want to look pretty?" Grey went back and asked.
"No." Gaia blinked speechlessly. "I do not care about my appearance."
"Oh." Grey nodded, and soon, the data compilation was complete.
He applied the Sovereign Ontological Override and made it form an Event Horizon. Gaia’s will melted directly into it. Soon, Grey sent the finalized information into the horizon, which all poured out as cosmic radiation. This radiation began conducting with the Origin Will’s descending power to forge a brand new Star Spirit.
[You are a really crazy guy. You know that, right?]
The Origin Will’s voice echoed directly into his head.
"Thanks," Grey replied mentally with a small smile.
Boom!
With a massive explosion, a huge, radiant star appeared in the starry sky.
The star gave off a 5th-rank star power wavelength, and soon it took on a humanoid appearance.
"I really became a Star Spirit," Gaia said in a daze.
