Chapter 1383: When A Ruler Falls (Part 6)

Suddenly, just when there was only one and a half seconds left before the effect of Death Guardian Authority ended, the moment Evan had been waiting for finally arrived.

(Critical Hit)

The Master of Shadows Authority triggered once again, and the Halberd of Destruction erupted with a dazzling light of destruction.

Bang.

The barrier covering Eldraker shattered into countless particles of light and instantly disappeared.

Eldraker and Baphomet’s eyes widened in disbelief at the sight, and a look of fear finally appeared in Eldraker’s eyes as without the barrier protecting him, he was nothing more than a giant lizard on a chopping board.

Baphomet was also startled when the barrier was suddenly destroyed, and he immediately prepared to save Eldraker.

However, a ruthless glint flashed in Evan’s eyes.

Knowing that the demon would definitely try to interfere again, he did not hesitate and immediately used his strongest move—a move that even Baphomet would not dare to block.

’I might die after using this, but as long as I kill this bastard, it’s worth it...’ Evan thought inwardly and in the next instant, the power of destruction within the halberd began to boil violently.

He poured all of his World Essence, all of his Primordial Shadow Energy, his Spiritual Power, and even his physical strength—everything he had into the Halberd of Destruction.

Baphomet, who was just about to move, suddenly felt a bad premonition rise in his heart and for some reason, the mere thought of stepping forward to save Eldraker caused all of his instincts to scream in warning.

For a brief moment, he hesitated.

And in that very instant, a cold voice devoid of all emotion resounded in his ears.

"Soul Slayer War Arts: Third Form."

The entire sky of Utopia suddenly lit up with a dazzling golden light of destruction, engulfing everything.

The sense of danger Baphomet felt reached its peak, and for a moment, even fear appeared on his face.

Without thinking any further, the Demon Monarch turned and fled.

But the moment he tried to escape.

"Annihilation!"

The cold voice echoed once more, and the golden light that illuminated the entire sky swallowed everything in its path.

"No!!!"

A scream filled with despair, belonging to the King of Dragons reached Baphomet but he paid no heed to it.

The demon looked at his own body with terrified eyes as, under the overwhelming power of destruction, it began to disintegrate bit by bit.

He could sense that the destructive force acting upon him was out of control—that even Evan himself could not fully contain it.

Yet, for a power that was not even being properly controlled to make even him feel such terror, Baphomet could not help but feel a trace of awe.

And it was not just him.

Every single being within Utopia who was Rank Four or above witnessed this terrifying scene.

On the Dragon Islands, powerful dragons stared into the distance, their eyes fixed on the dazzling golden light that advanced relentlessly, devouring everything in its path.

Although the light appeared breathtakingly beautiful, the terrifying aura of destruction it emitted made every heart pound with fear.

"What is happening over there?"

"Did something occur on the battlefield?"

"It must be some kind of trick by those lowly demons."

The dragons spoke among themselves, but all the high-ranking ones broke out in cold sweat as unlike the weaker dragons, they could clearly sense the horrifying nature of that golden light.

Far away in the Northern Territory, Eilistraea and the other high-level elves stood high in the sky, gazing at the distant golden radiance of destruction.

Even from such a distance, it made their hearts tremble with fear.

"My Lady, what is that?" Vivian, the current Queen of the Elves asked with a look of fear.

Eilistraea did not answer immediately. She frowned slightly, as it was the first time even she had witnessed something like this.

Although she could not fully understand what was happening, unlike other Core Evolvers, she could sense three distinct auras coming from that location.

Two of them were familiar to her but the third was completely unknown.

’Weren’t those two trapped inside the Tomb of the Ancient? How did they get out?’ Eilistraea thought inwardly.

Suddenly, something clicked in her mind, and her expression changed.

’Baphomet and Eldraker... Then the third aura... could it be him?’

As this thought surfaced, a look of interest appeared on her face and she immediately turned to Vivian and gave an order. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦

"Prepare the teleportation formation. I will personally go to the Southern Territory."

In the Western Territory, Alistair also stared at the glowing golden sky, his expression grim and serious.

Like Eilistraea, he too could sense the auras of Baphomet and Eldraker.

Knowing that both of them had disappeared some time ago and had now returned, a strange glint flashed in his eyes. Without hesitation, he also decided to head toward the Southern Territory.

Similar scenes unfolded across all parts of Utopia, as powerful figures began making their way toward the source of the disturbance.

In the Eastern Territory, Winterclaw and Mythrenor also gazed at the terrifying golden light.

The moment Mythrenor saw that familiar radiance, his hands trembled slightly, and a look of fear flickered in his eyes as he recognized it.

’That weapon... the very incarnation of END. Only that man has the ability to wield it.’

As this thought crossed his mind, Mythrenor expression darkened, and a cold glint appeared in his eyes.

"Baphomet and Eldraker seem to be fighting against that man," Winterclaw said in a low voice, staring into the distance.

Mythrenor nodded and was about to respond when he suddenly paused and looked up at the sky.

In fact, it was not just him.

Every single being in Utopia looked up at the sky and what they saw made their hearts turn cold.

At some unknown moment, the bright sky had become filled with dazzling stars.

But all of them were red.

In the next instant, the red stars began to fall, as if the world itself were shedding tears of blood.

As the people of Utopia gazed upon the weeping sky, a single thought surfaced in their minds.

A thought that seemed to arise from the very laws of the world itself.

’A Peak Rank Six Core Evolver has fallen.’
