Naruto and Inoiki didn’t care about what the Nine-Tails was saying.

Naruto, who was sitting just opposite Inoiki, thought to himself, As I thought, I can use Sage Mode since I’m sitting still right now.

Naruto did exactly that. He drew in natural energy, and Sage Mode activated within him. An orange pigmentation appeared around his eyelashes, and his eyes shifted into a sharp, toad-like form. His presence became heavier, more grounded.

At that moment, Inoiki’s voice echoed inside Naruto’s sealing space. "Naruto, I can’t help you much inside this. You need to conquer the Nine-Tails’ chakra yourself. I will intervene only if you start to lose control."

Naruto nodded, his expression firm. "I understand. And it should be like this."

As soon as he said that, Naruto created multiple Shadow Clones. They rushed forward together, attacking the Nine-Tails from all directions. Working in perfect coordination, they managed to pin the massive beast down. Naruto then formed a Rasenshuriken and hurled it forward, the spinning blades tearing into the Nine-Tails and damaging it even further, while his Shadow Clones struggled to hold it in place.

With the Nine-Tails restrained, Naruto extended his chakra and wrapped it around the Nine-Tails’ chakra, gripping it tightly and beginning to pull. As he drew the chakra out, the Nine-Tails thrashed violently against the ground, its fury erupting. "You brat," it snarled, "do you really think you can take my chakra so easily?"

As soon as the Nine-Tails spoke, it began mixing its negative chakra along with the pure chakra Naruto was extracting. That malicious energy flowed straight into Naruto. The familiar weight of hatred and resentment surged within him once more.

As his Sage Mode wore off, Naruto’s resistance weakened. The negative emotions started to overwhelm him, and little by little, he found himself being dragged under by the Nine-Tails’ chakra.

When he felt completely overwhelmed by the Nine-Tails’ negative chakra, the world around Naruto suddenly changed. In the next instant, he found himself standing in a serene space—pure white in every direction, calm and silent, as if all noise had been washed away.

In front of him stood two people. One was the Fourth Hokage, Namikaze Minato. The other was Kushina Uzumaki.

Seeing these unfamiliar figures appear so suddenly, Naruto immediately became wary. His body tensed as he said, "Who are you two, and what are you doing here?" His eyes narrowed. "Are you manifestations of the Nine-Tails? Yes, that must be it. You both are manifestations of the Nine-Tails. You are the Nine-Tails."

Minato and Kushina looked at each other and smiled softly. Then they spoke, their voices gentle. "No, Naruto, we are not."

They both stepped forward. "We are your parents, Naruto."

Naruto froze. Then he looked carefully at Minato’s face, his breath catching. "Lord Fourth... you are the Fourth Hokage, right?" he asked, disbelief seeping into his voice. "You were the one who sealed the Nine-Tails inside me to protect the village."

Minato nodded. "Yes, I did," he said quietly. "And I did it because you are my son."

The words hit Naruto like a wave. The revelation broke through everything he had been holding back. Tears streamed down his face as he began to cry, finally pouring out all the grievances and pain he had carried through the years. Kushina and Minato could only hold him close, consoling him and surrounding him with the love he had been denied for so long.

Outside, Inoiki, who was sitting opposite Naruto in the Chakra Isolation Chamber, watched silently. Tears slipped from Naruto’s closed eyes as his body remained still—after all, he was deep inside his mental space.

When the Nine-Tails began injecting its negative emotions along with its chakra into Naruto in an attempt to overwhelm him, Inoiki could have intervened. He had the means to stop the process and help Naruto suppress and control the Nine-Tails’ chakra—but he chose not to. Inoiki knew there was a fail-safe in place. Both Minato’s and Kushina’s chakra resided within Naruto, embedded there as a final measure to prevent him from losing control completely, and also as a chance for them to see their son one last time. So, Inoiki simply did nothing and let the mother, father, and son have a reunion.

Minato and Kushina wanted to talk to Naruto about many things. There were countless words left unsaid, years of absence that could never truly be filled. But for now, what mattered most was stabilizing Naruto’s condition. Together, they focused on him and began helping him regain his balance.

Naruto, who had lost control of his emotions, slowly started to calm down. His breathing steadied, and his mind cleared. Once more, he entered Sage Mode, natural energy flowing through him in a stable and controlled manner. This time, he fought the Nine-Tails without hesitation—and this time, he defeated it for sure.

At last, Naruto succeeded in taking the Nine-Tails’ chakra. After he was done, he sealed the Nine-Tails once again, restoring the balance within his sealing space.

Outside, Naruto’s physical body, which had become unstable as the Tailed Beast’s chakra had begun to cover him, finally settled down. The violent chakra receded, and everything returned to normal.

Before the space faded, Minato and Kushina spent a little more time with Naruto, telling him about the night the Nine-Tails had been sealed inside him and revealing the truth he had carried for so long. In the end, there was only a heartfelt goodbye from his parents—a quiet, lingering farewell filled with love.

Finally, Naruto opened his eyes again and looked at Inoiki. A mixture of relief and quiet excitement showed on his face as he said, "I succeeded. I finally succeeded. And I also know about my parents now."

Inoiki smiled at him and replied, "That is exactly why I did not help you. I felt the presence of two other chakra signatures sealed inside your sealing space, and I realized they had to be your parents—the Fourth Hokage, Namikaze Minato, and your mother, Uzumaki Kushina."

Naruto’s eyes widened in shock. "You knew about my parents?" he asked.

Inoiki nodded calmly. "Many of the smarter people in the village can guess that you are the son of the Fourth Hokage because of your yellow hair. And some of the older people know that the Fourth Hokage’s wife was Uzumaki Kushina, that she was pregnant, and that she died around the time of your birth. So it is... guessable that you are their son."

Naruto stood there in silence, still shocked by Inoiki’s words. He opened his mouth as if to say something, then slowly shook his head. "I know a lot about my parents now," he said at last, his voice steady. "And it was definitely a great experience for me."

Inoiki nodded. "I am happy for you, Naruto—that you were able to meet your parents."

Naruto nodded back.

Then Naruto said, "I have separated the Nine-Tails’ chakra that I took from it and placed it separately, so I can access it whenever I want and use it whenever I need."

Inoiki nodded again, clearly satisfied.

"Let me show you," Naruto said. In the next instant, he drew on the Nine-Tails’ chakra he had separated. As soon as he did, a yellow aura flared around his body. He was enveloped in glowing light, radiating a pure, vibrant chakra that felt overwhelmingly full of life.

Inoiki looked at Naruto using the Nine-tails chakra and said, "Very well. Now that you have mastered the use of the Nine-Tails’ chakra, we can stay here on Genbu Island and train for the next few days. Anyway, it is not necessary for us to be present during the Five Kage Meeting, so we can continue our training without any issue."

Naruto nodded after hearing Inoiki’s words. He, too, felt the need to become fully familiar with his newly gained strength. With that decided, they chose to remain on Genbu Island.

Days passed as Inoiki and Naruto continued their training on the island. The time slipped by quietly, one hard session after another, until ten days had gone by. And far away, in the Land of Iron, the day of the Five Kage Meeting had finally arrived.
