My Wife is a Hidden Big Shot
Chapter 352 - 334: A Pitiful Wretch of Unrequited Love
The bright hospital room was crowded with members of the Warner and Morgan families.
Although Alvin Morgan, lying on the bed, had regained consciousness, his eyes weren’t fully open.
"Can you hear me?"
"Young Lord Morgan..."
Just then, as if trapped in a nightmare, Alvin Morgan’s dry lips moved, his murmurs too faint for anyone to make out.
Beta Morgan leaned close to his mouth, straining to hear what he was saying.
He suddenly straightened up and looked toward the girl standing in the doorway.
"Aurora, come quickly. The Young Master is looking for you..."
Everyone turned in surprise. Only then did they realize that this unfamiliar girl in the doorway was actually Aurora Sinclair.
’How has she changed so much?’
A sliver of fear suddenly rose in Dawn Miles’s heart, and she found her feet rooted to the spot.
"Get over here! The Young Master is calling for you..."
Aiden Morgan strode over, grabbed her by the arm, and forcefully dragged her into the hospital room.
"Am I really her?" Dawn Miles asked.
Aiden Morgan paused for a second but didn’t turn back. "The Young Master would never mistake you for someone else," he replied coldly.
Dawn Miles’s eyes widened.
Aiden shoved her toward the bed. As she looked at the pale, gaunt man lying there, the pain in her chest returned.
The man on the bed continued to mutter. His voice was quiet, but she could clearly hear what he was saying.
"Aurora... Don’t go..."
Dawn Miles reached out a finger and touched him gingerly, as if he were a fragile porcelain doll.
"Aurora, call out to him a couple of times," Beta Morgan prompted in a low voice.
Dawn Miles turned to look at him, pursed her lips, and called out softly, "Young... Master..."
Beta Morgan: ...
’My head is starting to hurt!’
「 」
Alvin Morgan was running through a pitch-black darkness when a bright light suddenly appeared ahead. Then, a familiar face drew closer and closer.
"Aurora..."
His eyes flew open, meeting a pair of pure, clear eyes.
"You’re awake?" A hint of joy appeared in Dawn Miles’s eyes.
"Aurora..."
The face before him was unfamiliar; only her eyes were recognizable as Aurora Sinclair’s.
Alvin Morgan wiggled his fingers, wanting to raise his hand to touch her, but his whole body felt disconnected, numb.
He stared at her fixedly, his pupils reflecting only her, as if she were the only person in the world.
His intense gaze made Dawn Miles a little shy. She lowered her head and apologized. "I’m sorry. I’m apologizing on his behalf..."
The light in Alvin Morgan’s eyes dimmed, and a self-mocking smile seemed to touch the corner of his lips.
A hoarse voice escaped his lips. "Why are you apologizing?"
"He hurt you," Dawn Miles replied in a low voice.
Alvin Morgan’s brow furrowed, and he closed his eyes in anguish.
’She still doesn’t remember me...’
Beta Morgan quickly pulled her aside. "That man is an assassin, not your brother! He’s been lying to you all this time!"
Dawn Miles shook her head. "He saved me..."
"The one who really saved you was my master."
Aiden Morgan cut her off bluntly, pointing at the man on the bed and saying sternly, "He’s the one lying here because he saved you—"
Dawn Miles’s eyelashes trembled, and she fell silent...

The tide slowly receded. The first rays of sunlight rose from the horizon, and the silvery-white beach gradually revealed its original golden color.
A sea crab that had washed ashore struggled to climb a raised mound of sand.
It stumbled along, as if searching for a soft spot.
Suddenly, the sand beneath its legs began to slide away. A hand shot out from the mound, snatching its body.
A pair of amber eyes, devoid of any emotion, watched as a tongue licked a pair of dry lips.
He didn’t know how long he had been adrift at sea, only that he had woken up here.
His Strength was completely depleted, so he could only lie on the cold beach and let his body recover on its own.
He desperately needed calories. Mustering the last of his Strength, he grabbed the crab, intending to break its hard shell.
Just then, a few familiar voices called out from the distance.
"Shadow Master—"
Accompanied by the sound of footsteps, a man wearing a centipede-shaped mask was the first to run over.
He dropped to his knees beside Elias Lennox. "This subordinate was late. I beg for the Shadow Master’s forgiveness."
"Centipede" was extremely anxious. Five days had passed since they received the Shadow Master’s distress signal, and they had only just found him.
Within their organization, this was a grave failure.
"Help me... up..."
The man carefully reached out and slowly helped Elias Lennox sit up on the sand.
His silver hair had already returned to its chestnut color, and his amber eyes were gradually shifting to azure blue.
The man said with some hesitation, "Shadow Master, the Madam has arrived."
"What is she doing here?"
The man replied nervously, "She said she came to see you..."
"Hmph..."
Elias Lennox sneered, his expression growing even uglier than before. A towering hatred surfaced in his eyes.
"She’s here to see if I’m dead, isn’t she!"
The man lowered his head slightly, not daring to speak.
「 」
「On a small ship.」
A woman in a professional skirt suit was elegantly sipping coffee.
The gentle sea breeze rustled her golden hair, making it flutter slightly.
Her azure eyes were fixed on the laptop on the table, which was playing a commercial.
"Y, this girl is truly a miracle from God!"
The man behind her replied flatly, "Not from God. From you, Madam."
The corners of the woman’s mouth lifted, clearly pleased with his response.
"Y, the continent ahead is your country. Do you want to go back and take a look?"
The man gazed at the vibrant flag fluttering in the distance, his lips pressed into a thin line.
His black sunglasses concealed the longing in his eyes. "No. It’s not my country anymore."
The woman took a couple of sips of her coffee and smiled. "I’ve always been fascinated by this country, but I’ve never been. How about you accompany me for a visit?"
But the man refused again. "Madam, now is not a good time to go to Veridia. It would be better to wait until the Trent Family’s plan has been successfully implemented."
"You really are a rational one..."
As she spoke, the sound of people boarding came from the deck behind them.
Several men appeared, carrying a stretcher onto the ship.
"Madam, our Shadow Master is injured. We ask for immediate medical assistance."
The woman’s joyful expression instantly faded when she saw the man on the stretcher. She sat back down in her chair, picked up her coffee, and said mockingly, "How pathetic."
"What are you doing here?" Elias Lennox asked, his eyes filled with anger and his tone hostile.
"I came to see my... son..."
Elias Lennox tensed, his eyes dark and gloomy. "I’m not him!"
"Of course I know you’re not him. He’s not a useless piece of trash like you."
The woman’s expression was no longer as gentle as before; the look in her eyes was utterly frigid.
Even though she knew this young man was a part of her son’s body, she was still disgusted by the sight of his eyes and hair.
They represented weakness and cowardice, nothing like her powerful master.
Elias Lennox let out a cold laugh. "Your son is just a pathetic fool pining for someone he can’t have!"
The woman’s face darkened again as she seemingly struggled to suppress the rage boiling within her.
"He will get her. That girl will be my son’s sooner or later, and a filthy thing like you will slowly descend into hell..."
"Is that so? We’ll just have to wait and see, my dear mother..." 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞
His expression enraged her. No longer able to maintain her dignified facade, she snatched the warm coffee cup from the table and threw its contents at him...
"You scumbag, you pervert, you demon possessing my son’s body! You deserve to go to hell—"
But Elias Lennox just looked her in the eye, taunting her cruelly, word by word, "But don’t forget, my dear mother, I am the one you created with your own hands..."
"AHHH—"
The woman roared, her eyes bloodshot as she pointed at Elias Lennox’s face and gave the order, "Kill him—"
"Y, kill him now—"
The sneer on Elias Lennox’s face grew wider, bordering on madness. "Hahaha... If I die, your son won’t live either... Hahaha..."
