My Super Sassy Dad: Stop Running Away, Mrs. Quinn!
Chapter 644: I Want to Sleep With You
Melody Thorne took a deep breath; besides this matter, there was nothing else she needed him to do.
"You can take a break now."
Caleb chuckled lightly, reminding her, "For instance, if anyone won’t let Kiki Sutton off or intends to harm her, I can still step in."
Hans Montrose hadn’t been exposed, all because the woman was too soft-hearted, but he might not let that woman go.
"Then make sure Kiki is safe," Melody Thorne hung up the phone.
She left the bedroom and went to Jared Quinn’s study, opening the door, there was no one inside; earlier, he and Leon Rivers had been there. 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺
"Timmy, where’s your dad?" Melody Thorne leaned on the stair railing, asking Timmy downstairs.
"He’s upstairs," Timmy pointed to the third floor.
"What is he doing upstairs?"
"I don’t know," little Timmy shrugged, "I thought you guys had a fight."
He was planning to invite Melody Thorne to sleep in his room.
"I’ll go up and check."
The third floor was the guest room, what was Jared Quinn doing up there?
"Jared Quinn, where are you?" Melody Thorne called out.
A guest room door opened, Jared Quinn came out, naturally placing his hands on her waist, "Why aren’t you asleep yet?"
Melody Thorne glanced behind him, Jared Quinn’s big hands adjusted her head, "Can’t sleep? Come on, I’ll accompany you downstairs."
"What are you doing up here?" Melody Thorne wasn’t easily fooled, she glanced behind him and noticed the large bed in the guest room had sleep marks, just recently occupied.
"Did you just sleep here?"
"Too tired, so I slept for a while," Jared Quinn held her hand and headed downstairs, "Don’t look anymore, let’s go sleep."
"I’m not going," Melody Thorne used her other hand to grab onto the stair railing, "You definitely plan to sneak out after I fall asleep."
"What are you thinking?" Jared Quinn pinched her little nose.
"That’s definitely what you’re planning, don’t lie, I’m going to sleep with you, regardless."
"Melody," Jared Quinn looked at her seriously, "I might already be starting to have symptoms. This isn’t a joke. For the sake of your and Timmy’s safety, you sleep downstairs, be good, listen."
The way he coaxed her made Melody Thorne even less willing to go.
"Even if you sleep on the third floor, what if you have symptoms and open the door to come down? If it’s dangerous, it’ll still be dangerous."
"No, it won’t," Jared Quinn was very certain.
Melody Thorne looked at him with such certainty, starting to suspect there might be something else in the guest room, she walked in only to find, sure enough, there were chains beside the bed.
"What do you take yourself for?" Melody Thorne frowned, "Do you plan to lock yourself up if you have symptoms?"
She hadn’t understood Jared Quinn’s condition before; now it seemed quite severe.
"No matter what, you and Timmy will be safe," Jared Quinn spoke seriously.
"I don’t care, I’m sleeping with you," Melody Thorne lay on the big bed, "We’ll sleep here together, that way Timmy will be safe."
"Be obedient."
"No way," Melody Thorne turned away, "I’m going to sleep here. You just started showing symptoms today, it won’t be so severe to relapse again today, so there’s no need to worry. Besides, could you bear to leave me alone?"
