Remembering the conversation she had with Kiki Sutton yesterday, Melody Thorne intended to leave without interrupting them.

"Melody," Hans Montrose spotted her ahead of time,

Melody Thorne placed the lunchbox she was carrying on the hallway floor and walked in empty-handed. "Hans Montrose, how are you today? The doctors have been checking on you every day, right?"

"Yes, don’t worry."

The three of them chatted inside for a while, and then Kiki Sutton and Melody Thorne walked out together. Seeing the lunchbox Melody had left outside, she felt like explaining, but then thought there was nothing much to explain.

"If he could see you sooner and you could see him sooner, perhaps that would have been good."

Kiki Sutton laughed. "Don’t forget, I originally intended to sacrifice myself for Ashton Young."

"Luckily you didn’t," Melody Thorne took out her car keys, ready to leave. "Don’t worry, I will definitely make Leon Rivers save him."

"Melody, you should know that even Dr. Mo couldn’t help. Others should be the same," Kiki Sutton reminded.

"Ashton Young, let me go," Kiki Sutton shook off Ashton Young’s grip. "From today onwards, I have no association with your Young family’s company, or anyone in it. Kiki Sutton let out a cold laugh. "Previously, Young did help me, and I should thank him. But there’s something I might not have told Young. Didn’t you say you don’t touch virgins? Well, I am one; I’ve never been with a man, so if I really had something with Young, then you’d really be getting played."

Ashton Young stared at her for a long time, unable to say a word. Yes, his rule was not to touch virgins, not those pretending to be innocent.

Kiki Sutton sneered, turned around, and left.

Seeing Kiki Sutton unharmed, Melody Thorne drove away. In her past life, Kiki jumped to her death for Ashton Young. Now looking at them, it was clear Kiki wouldn’t repeat the fate of her past life.

Melody Thorne stayed in the living room watching Timmy do his homework, while outside came the sound of a woman’s laughter and footsteps coming in.

"Cousin, your secretary Mr. Su is quite intriguing. I always thought he was particularly serious, but who knew he could be so amusing."

"If you don’t understand something at the company, you can directly ask him in the future."

"Okay." Wendy Lynch walked in and saw the big and small figures on the sofa. Her gaze momentarily paused and then she quickly reacted, "Sis."

Melody Thorne’s gaze happened to be resting on Wendy Lynch. She clearly saw her momentary pause, and responded mildly, without overthinking.

After all, Wendy Lynch is Jared Quinn’s cousin.
