My Scheming Little Devil
Chapter 1296: Terrible Person
"Kill him, kill him now," she commanded fiercely, a subconscious reaction, sensing instinctively that keeping this man would lead to terrifying consequences.
Without a second thought, she raised the gun in her hand and fired at the silhouette.
Ye Lu was so shocked he couldn’t even breathe properly, not even having time to shout ’be careful’.
All scenes seemed like fast-moving film shots, unbelievably fast, leaving the viewer stunned and speechless, as if watching a thrilling and hazardous movie.
The figure was expressionless; his body moved like an arrow shot instantly, unbelievably fast, his feet kicked off the ground, and with an agile somersault in the air, he dodged Yiren’s frantic shot, landing like an arrow right in front of her.
Yiren, seeing him suddenly charging towards her, turned pale with fright, grasping the handgun ready to fire another shot.
But her wrist suddenly hurt, and with a scream, he grabbed her left hand, brutally twisting her joint. The gun in her hand clattered to the ground, and the wrist, where the hand and arm met, hung twisted and powerless, the tendons broken.
She was in so much pain her face lost all color, her lips white as paper, as she stumbled backwards, screaming in horror.
The bodyguards following her, finally snapped out of their daze, quickly raised their guns, and some charged forward.
But he swiftly grabbed Yiren’s hand, dragging her in front of him, his cruel fingers tightly clenching her throat, ready to squeeze and end her life instantaneously.
Yiren’s subordinates looked extremely uneasy; with so many of them present, their principal had been injured and taken hostage by this one man, an utter disgrace. But everything had happened so suddenly, so swiftly, that man’s speed was simply incredible.
They were all panting, faces darkened, holding their guns yet daring not to move, fearing the mad and terrifying man might just snap their employer’s neck in displeasure.
Ye Lu looked at the sudden reversal before her eyes, dumbstruck, her eyes wide open, almost believing it to be a dream.
Yiren had been captured by him.
My God, she hadn’t seen wrong, had she? That man, with skills surpassing those of super agents in movies, was he really him? How is he so formidable?
Amidst the chaos, she couldn’t think clearly; she just realized this was a chance to escape and hurriedly instructed the bodyguards to retreat behind him, loudly stopping the tense and grim-faced men pointing guns at them.
"She is now in our hands, don’t act rashly, or else, my subordinate will snap her neck."
The bodyguards tensed up, gripping their guns, even less daring to rescue.
Yiren, resilient though in severe pain, her face contorted, her breath rapid, still maintained her rationality: "Ye Lu, to think you had such a formidable person by your side, just now you were still lowering my guard, pretending, huh. Consider yourself fortunate, let’s both step back today."
...
Ye Lu and her group safely left the cemetery and soon returned to the villa, having already phoned Hua Lunxi and Ling Kong on the way.
Upon entering, they saw Hua Lunxi’s worried and angry expression.
Standing behind him, Ling Kong with piercing eyes focused on the figure walking behind Ye Lu entering the hall, his expression suddenly changed, his youthful face cold and fierce, and with a sudden command, around a dozen bodyguards emerged, surrounding the figure, with numerous guns pointed at his head.
Frown furrowed while standing surrounded, he showed not a hint of fear, his gaze fixed only on Ye Lu, his eyes as if she were his whole world, disregarding everyone else around him.
