Chapter 2704: Chapter 902: Warning! Warning! Level 12 Divinity Detected! Divine Spirit Incoming!_2

She didn’t even pay much attention to Triss; instead she merged her senses into the cold wind that was constantly lashing the high walls of Klim Fortress, now hung with icicles. She had to locate every hunter chasing the wolf pack and fulfill her duty as the alpha wolf.

But Triss wasn’t wrong either. After the Silver Wolf left the fortress area, the Golden Ones who had been besieging her immediately scattered to block and counterattack the wolf calamity in all directions, and the remaining five Wolf Disaster Lords were all being pursued to varying degrees.

This wolf calamity had broken out far too suddenly, catching everyone off guard, but for the Star Realm wolf pack to swagger in and meddle in the Black Disaster like this was clearly a huge taboo.

Given the united, ironclad morale currently along the Maginot Line, nobody cared what you were or where you came from—if you dared to help the Wolf People, then you were the enemy of this defensive line and of the entire civilization camp.

The cold wind swirling around Klim Fortress grew ever more bleak; under Helsun’s control, a Polar Storm had already taken shape. The temperature kept dropping, and the wind, gloomy and bone-piercing, even carried an ominous frost. As the Silver Wolf let out a desolate, long howl, under a sky of roiling clouds a "Wind Wall" had already formed, wrapping around the entire Klim Fortress.

She would not allow any life here to leave until this hunt was over.

But just as the Silver Wolf unfolded her domain of power and prepared to kill these giant snakes one by one, more than a dozen spinning grenades came in from a very tricky angle and slammed into her butt. Fire burst out, foul-smelling gunpowder smoke spreading on the cold wind. They only singed a bit of fur and caused no effective damage, yet this underhanded, no-honor sneak attack still made the Silver Wolf turn her gaze toward the flank.

In a collapsed forward fortress, a bunch of Undying Spirits from Transylvania were poking their heads out and peering around. Some truly fearless bastards were operating strange iron tubes, following the previous parabolic trajectory, ready to give this "world boss" Silver Wolf another heavy hit.

Even though that last round of shelling hadn’t caused any damage at all.

The Silver Wolf bared her teeth. She felt these "ants" were both bold and annoying. Where did they get the guts to try to harm a Demigod with such ridiculous firearms?

Did these guys not have a shred of common sense?

You don’t even have the Transcendent Golden Rule—how are you supposed to break through the domain defense a Demigod constructs on top of the extended Golden Rule? Any being worthy of the title Demigod is a great existence that mortal weapons simply cannot touch!

"Fuck! We can’t even break her defense!"

Just as the Silver Wolf’s gaze fell on the players, the artist squad that had just fired a volley and were checking the results, along with a few players from the Loyalty Song Guild, were all dumbfounded.

They had clearly picked the angle carefully, even targeting the shared weakness of all canines—the spine—with their barrage. With the Silver Wolf’s body that huge, it was actually hard to miss. The problem was, after a volley of Burning Gold grenades hit, not to mention damage numbers, the opponent’s HP bar didn’t even show up.

How broken was this?

"Goddammit! I don’t buy it! No matter how badass you are, you’re still a creature of flesh and blood, you gotta follow some basic biological rules, right?"

Seeing the little tube was useless, Deep-fried Sweet Potato in the party simply pulled an Iron Fist Missile out of his Spiritual Energy pouch, jumped out, knelt to brace it, aimed at the Silver Wolf’s big mug, and pulled the trigger. The metal, cone-tipped missile roared out with a blast of fire, tracing a strange arc through the air, and just as the Silver Wolf turned her head—boom—smashed right into her nose.

"I don’t believe even an RPG can’t... fuck!"

Deep-fried Sweet Potato was about to check the result when he looked up and saw, through the smoke woven by the missile’s explosion, the silver behemoth lifting a paw with a cold, merciless air. The blast on her tender nose had made the Silver Wolf feel a sting, and also made her realize these ants had actually managed to hurt her.

Unbelievable.

It still wasn’t effective damage, but making her feel pain was, without a doubt, also a hunter’s mark of capability.

All right then, little bugs—let this Queen send you on your way using the method reserved for hunters.

"You mother..."

"Just you wait. When I hit Gold Stage, watch how I deal with you, you mangy mutt!"

Amid the players’ curses, the Silver Wolf’s giant claw swept across the ground. With a thunderous boom, the wind blades trailing from her talons sliced a third of the fortress ruins clean off and froze what remained solid.

Triss and the giant snakes had witnessed the whole process. The Blood Vulture Duke looked helpless and pained, and the giant snakes all glanced at each other.

They had just been ready to fight the Silver Wolf to the death, only for a bunch of Transylvanian runts to mess things up. But to be fair, though these guys were weak, the courage it took to fire artillery at a Demigod was indeed worthy of praise.

Of course, their fate also sobered up those other challengers who didn’t know their own limits.

Bro, it’s one thing to mouth off in front of a Golden One. Under extreme conditions, a Golden One can indeed be zerg-rushed to death, but a Demigod is a whole different concept. She doesn’t even show a health bar in front of players—no matter how big your balls are, it’s useless.

Having dealt with the little bugs, the Silver Wolf turned back, her cold single eye locking onto the Swamp Giant Snakes before her. From the information carried back by the cold wind, she had also caught sight of the Vampire Duke Shani, who was roaming with a group of strange Helm’s men, hunting down Wolf Disaster Lords. It was she who had lured two Wolf Disaster Lords into a trap laid by the Helms Cavalry.
