Chapter 792

Anna was extremely busy. She was fighting hard to be included in the dungeon exploration field trip that would be happening in a few days. The academy wanted her to stay safe inside the school, but the group that would be delving into the novice dungeon would be protected by powerful adventurers. That meant that the students would be safe inside the dungeon floor as well.

Because of her family’s situation, particularly Anton’s unique ability to produce portal scrolls, the wizards from Ormunda wanted to keep her safe. They were thinking that sooner or later, Anna would also receive the same abilities as Anton.

If it was before, she thought that there was no chance of that, but the fact that her brother’s magic, for some reason, suddenly allowed Anton to bestow a class from his unique bloodline magic once a year to anyone he wanted made the theory of the Ormundan Wizards probable. Of course, she was not truly sure of that, but given the surprising things that Anton’s magic had been able to do so far, she would not be surprised if that happened in the future.

Once Anna reached her classroom, she dispelled all the thoughts that lingered on her mind. She planned to think about the methods she could use to persuade her advisor to let her join the dungeon delving field trip.

The reason she wanted to delve into the dungeon was to increase her Sorceress class level that was bestowed upon her by Anton. At that moment, her Sorceress class was only level six. She knew that if she increased her level, which for some reason was only through killing dungeon monsters, her power, brought by her Sorceress class, would receive tremendous growth, just like what happened with her father, who was now on par with a powerful wizard simply because of the high level of Anders’s Paladin class that Anton also gave their father.

Anna knew that her father had almost neglected the original class that he had received from a unique scroll and had just focused on the Paladin class. She could not fault his father. The classes given to them by Anton were truly powerful. The only reason she could not do the same was that her wizard ability was equally powerful, and her brother also told her to focus on her wizardry and not on the class that he gave her. Anton told her that her wizard ability’s potential was greater compared to the Sorceress class because the power that the class would give her was limited and not the same as his unique bloodline magic.

Anton told Anna to treat her Sorceress class as a supplement to her wizardry. It was highly different from their father since their father did not want to become a wizard, and if they were being honest, wizardry was still the best way to attain great power in this world.

Anton himself was a wizard, and based on his talents, Anna knew that if her brother focused on wizardry, he would still be as powerful. It was just his unique bloodline magic that looked to be limitless, which was why he focused on it. At least that's what Anton told her.

Her brother also told him that if there was a time when he would need to shift his focus on wizardry to increase his power, he would not hesitate to do so.

After the history lesson ended, Anna, Avivan, Normumu, and Alethea went to the cafeteria to eat. After that, Anna parted with her dorm mate since she still wanted to persuade her advisor to allow her to join the dungeon delving expedition.

When Anna reached her teacher’s office, after talking with her advisor, she was surprised to learn that she had received permission to dungeon delve. After that, her teacher gave her the information brochure containing the details of the field trip. She did not know why her teachers suddenly changed their minds.

Inside the dorm room, Anna saw Avina, Normumu, and Alethea memorizing their spells, and after a while, one of them would stand up and cast their spells toward the mirror that was placed on one of the walls. Once they were done casting their spells, they would then flick a switch located on the side of the mirror, and tamed mana would be released by the mirror.

Anna, herself, usually memorizes her spells sitting on one of the seats that the girls arranged beside the mirror. The main difference was that she said that the peculiar spear that was given to her by her family was always in contact with her skin. Her dormmates asked her why she did that during spell practice since the huge weapon was usually inside Anna’s spatial item. The only answer she gave them was that the spear gave her comfort.

Anna did ask Anton if she could add her dormmates to her party system so they, too, would be under the effects of the Meditation Aura. The insight spear allowed her to create a party system, just like one of the portal scrolls. Anton reminded her that showing that kind of power, which basically allowed a wizard to gain power at an extremely fast pace, was a huge risk for the family. He reminded Anna of what happened with that Invincible Wizard Katrina on board the ship Amelia, so Anna had decided to keep the spear a secret. Besides, her dormmates were already enjoying the effects given by the enchanted mirror made by Anton.

She did not join her dormmates with their magic practice but instead, read the brochure that was given to her by her advisor. When Alethea saw the brochure, she made a loud gasp.

“Anna! The teacher allowed you to join the dungeon delving expedition?!”

Anna smiled and nodded, which made her dormmates excited. It meant that the four of them would be together inside the dungeon to have practical experience in magic combat.

Anna and her dormmates already had experience delving into dungeons. Avina, Normumu, and Alethea came from rich wizard families, and wizard families tend to give their children practical magical combat training, which usually would involve delving into dungeons. Normally, though, those experiences would just be on the higher floors of novice dungeons.

Anna herself was brought inside the dungeon by Anton and her father, so she did have experience, but she was never worried wherever she was in the presence of Anton. Her brother was simply too powerful and had protected their little family ever since they started running from the undead. Anton even managed to keep them safe when the ship, Amelia, was destroyed by the Undead Coalition.

The school’s field trip would be different, though. She would be with her classmates, and their only protection would be adventurers. That meant that the risk would be greater, but that just made it more exciting.

Because Anna’s dorm mates had learned that she would be able to join the field trip, they all stopped practicing their magic and discussed the dungeon delving. Based on the brochure given by the school to each of them, each group of students would consist of four students and four adventurers. Any more than that and the danger would increase. Apparently, when a dungeon was an instance dungeon, just like the Novice dungeon they would enter for their field trip mission, the number of dungeon monsters in a group set by the dungeon would always match the number of people inside the party system in the dungeon. That meant that the party should not be more than eight people.

Anna found it peculiar that the party system of the dungeons was a little similar to the party system from Anton’s items.
