Bai Hanyun blinked in confusion. After a moment of silence, she muttered, "But... I don’t have those."

Gui Ying shook his head. "No—you do."

Trusting his words, Bai Hanyun didn’t refute anymore. However, she understood that nothing came without a price.

Looking into his eyes, she asked calmly, "What will happen to Feng Xiyan and me after you take God’s Bone and Heaven’s Spiritual Root away?"

Gui Ying sighed at her question. He stared at Bai Hanyun’s eyes and explained, "Without the God’s Bone, Feng Xiyan will never regain his position as a True God. And you, without your Heaven’s Spiritual Root, you will never ascend to immortality."

"Both of you will lose your divine status... and your roles tied to the Heavenly Dao of the Six Realms. You will remain mortals, bound to the cycle of reincarnation forever."

After listening to his words, Bai Hanyun fell silent.

Then, without hesitation, she said calmly, "Why would I want to be a goddess? I was a mortal to begin with. As long as I can save Feng Xiyan, I’m willing to pay, even with my life."

Gui Ying stared at her. All he saw was unwavering resolve in those clear eyes.

After a brief pause, he chuckled softly. "Very well. Then let’s begin."

Gui Ying then stood up and formed a hand seal.

A second later, a golden formation appeared above Feng Xiyan’s body, slowly rotating. As golden particles drifted down, they seeped into his body.

Bai Hanyun stared at Feng Xiyan’s face without blinking. Seconds later, her eyes lit up.

Seeing color slowly return to Feng Xiyan’s pale face, she exclaimed in joy, "It’s working! Gui Ying, it’s working!"

The generals nearby were equally relieved when they saw this, but none dared make a sound.

Gui Ying looked at Bai Hanyun and said, "Fairy Bai, it will take time for his body to recover, so we will start with you. I will extract your Heaven’s Spiritual Root first. It will be extremely painful, but you must not lose consciousness."

Seven red chains shot out from the crimson formation and pierced into Bai Hanyun’s dantian.

"Ugh!" She let out a muffled groan, gritting her teeth as she endured the pain.

Soon, her body was soaked in cold sweat and blood.

Far away in the Gui Clan’s secret realm, the Yang Mirror suddenly shone brilliantly and shot out of the spiritual hot spring. It hovered briefly above the spiritual hot spring before flying off at incredible speed.

Left behind under the spiritual hot spring, the Yin Mirror trembled faintly before falling still.

Back in the commander’s tent, the thick scent of blood filled the air.

When all the chains were connected to Bai Hanyun’s dantian, Gui Ying’s calm voice sounded, "Fairy Bai, I’m pulling it out now. Get ready."

"Mhm." Bai Hanyun gave a weak nod.

With swift movement, Gui Ying inscribed ancient runes onto the crimson formation. The moment the final rune was completed, it glowed brightly.

Before anyone could react, the crimson chains suddenly retracted back into the crimson formation.

"Ah!" Bai Hanyun screamed in pain, her consciousness wavering, but she gritted her teeth and held on.

Gui Ying’s eyes hardened with resolve as he clenched his hands.

In the next instant, the crimson chains were pulled out of Bai Hanyun’s dantian, together with an iridescent vein.

The moment Heaven’s Spiritual Root left her body, Bai Hanyun collapsed to the ground.

As the generals rushed toward Bai Hanyun, Gui Ying swiftly took out a small white jade box, stored the Heaven’s Spiritual Root inside, and put it away.

He then crouched beside Bai Hanyun, placed his palm over her dantian, and began channeling spiritual energy into her body.

As his spiritual energy flowed into her, her internal injuries began healing at a visible rate.

A few minutes later, Gui Ying withdrew his hand and took out a small jade bottle. Pouring out a Yuan Pill, he fed it into Bai Hanyun’s mouth, then let out a quiet sigh of relief.

Lifting his gaze, he met the generals’ worried eyes and said calmly, "She is fine now. She just needs rest."

Hearing this, the generals finally relaxed.

After settling Bai Hanyun, Gui Ying turned his attention to Feng Xiyan.

Seeing that the evil energy had been cleansed and his body had begun to recover, Gui Ying stepped closer to the bed.
