Chapter 861: Chapter 861: Be a Decent Human Being

Erin Yates and her group stopped, and the staff member walked up suspiciously, "You guys..."

Before he could finish speaking, Erin swiftly covered his mouth with a handkerchief, and Heath Holloway took the opportunity to push open a door behind them, not expecting to find a young man inside playing a card game on his phone.

Startled by the sudden situation, the young man immediately stood up from his chair, grabbed a baseball bat from the table, and pointed it at them, asking, "What’s going on? Who are you guys?!"

Erin dragged the now unconscious staff member into the room, but before he could react, Heath, who was closest to the young man, snatched the bat from him and struck down.

The young man’s eyes went black instantly, and he fell to the ground. The phone still played the game’s urge-to-play card sound.

Erin pointed at Heath and Lynn Bishop, "You two stay here and tie them up. The surveillance room has probably noticed us, so we need to get there quickly to take control of the situation. As soon as you finish up, come find us immediately."

With that, Erin left with Norman Sutton and Scott Sutton.

Sure enough, two men in security uniforms came walking over from the surveillance room.

"Who are you people? I warn you, this..."

Erin drew her gun and aimed it at the two men, "Stay where you are! And stay silent!"

Frightened, the two men immediately raised their hands and stood still.

Erin handled these two, handing them over to the middle-aged officer behind her, then quickly led Franklin Sutton and Norman Sutton towards the surveillance room.

The boss in the surveillance room saw the situation in the hallway via the monitors, grabbed a handgun, and stepped out, immediately aiming at Erin standing outside, pulling the trigger...

"Watch out!" Erin pushed Norman Sutton aside and dodged to the other wall. Before the gunman could fire the next shot, she quickly and accurately aimed at his hand, knocking the gun to the floor.

While the man clutched his hand in pain, Scott Sutton swiftly picked up the handgun, walking cautiously in high heels to the surveillance room door. After surveying cautiously and confirming no one else was inside, he said to Erin, "It looks okay now. Let’s bring them all into this room."

Erin kicked the shot man into the room, vigilantly wiping the bloodstains on the floor at the door with a tissue.

After tying everyone up and throwing them into the corner, Erin tossed a security uniform to Lynn Bishop, saying, "Change into this and stay here with Old Man Charlie. Keep an eye on them, and monitor the surveillance footage. You’ll be our commander from here; don’t mess up."

Lynn Bishop complained while changing, "Didn’t I shave my leg hair for nothing?"

Erin, while observing the surveillance footage, joked with Lynn, "Well, you can keep wearing short skirts until your leg hair grows back."

Scott Sutton suddenly pointed at a surveillance monitor, "Found one."

Erin looked in the direction Scott was pointing and saw Shane Warner surrounded by a group of ladies in the dance hall footage.

Norman Sutton saw this and laughed, "How about I take a picture with my phone and send it to Audrey Sutton?"

Erin glared at him, "Be a decent person. Look for where the other buddy is."

Scott Sutton shook his head, "Can’t see him. There’s no surveillance in those rooms; he must be in a separate room."

Erin lifted her skirt slightly and tucked the gun into a holster on her thigh, saying, "Let’s go, it’s our turn to enter."

After dealing with the people outside, Erin led Norman and Scott inside successfully.

They also found an access card on the gunman’s body, allowing them to move freely in the bar now.

However, there were many more staff inside than outside, almost like live surveillance cameras everywhere, making them hesitant to act rashly.

Passing by the dance floor, they bumped into Shane Warner.

Erin gave Shane a look, signaling him not to act yet.

The plan was to find Morgan Quinn and Faye Xavier after getting in, as they needed help from others who also wanted to escape.

"Miss Yates, back again? And you brought friends today?"

Erin looked up at the voice and saw a staff member who had guided her before. She smiled and nodded, "I’ve already booked male models, take us there."

"Is it still those two from earlier today? They’re reserved for you, follow me."

Erin chatted casually as she followed the staff into an elevator.

As before, the elevator had no floor buttons and was operated by staff using a card.

Because Erin had been there a few times and was generous with her spending, the staff were especially respectful towards her, and no one suspected her intentions.

"Still the same room as before?"

Erin nodded, "Sure, they should be rested by now, right? Bring them over."

"I’ve already asked a colleague to notify them; they’ll be over shortly."

Erin casually handed over a bank card to pay, pretending not to worry about the expense.

But calculating in her mind, the money spent on these visits could buy a small apartment in the city, though not in bustling areas, it would be better than renting like she did now.

Even though her mentor fronted the money for her, she still felt a pinch.

Wondering how such a business could be so lucrative, with wealthy patrons splurging daily, she questioned where these people’s money came from.

After swiping the card, Morgan Quinn and Faye Xavier were brought over together.

Such group activities were common to the staff, raising no suspicion, and they left after closing the door.

Morgan Quinn looked around at Scott and Norman Sutton upon entering and asked Erin, "Who are these two?"

Faye Xavier stifled laughter and slapped Morgan on the back of the head, "Can’t you recognize Master Shane’s brothers-in-law?!"

"Pfft—" Morgan couldn’t help but burst into laughter, "Looking like this, who can recognize them? I really thought they were beauties!"

Norman and Scott Sutton both rolled their eyes simultaneously, and Erin came to their defense, "They made a huge sacrifice to save you; you didn’t thank them, and you’re mocking them? Do you not want to get out?"

Morgan immediately pursed his lips to hold back his laughter, saying, "Thank you, brothers-in-law! I, Quinn, in the next life..."

"Enough, stop rambling! How’s the task I gave you two?"

Faye said, "That Old Snake left with Ms. Reid around six this afternoon and hasn’t returned, probably entertaining guests."

Morgan said, "I also slipped a note to a buddy in the next room. He’s also held here, and he said he knows many others in the same situation. After I explained, he was so emotional he cried, saying he would help contact people. Just now, he said he notified about fifty brothers, that should be enough, right?"
