Mr.Nobody: I am inside a webcomic?!
Chapter 41: Original Timeline Files (2)
Morning traffic moved normally across Alkon City. People crossed streets. Vendors shouted. Cars honked endlessly.
Meanwhile....
Mr. Nobody stood near a convenience store holding canned coffee. But his attention remained completely focused on the floating blue system window before him. "...Okay. So the first kidnapping timeline video was finished."
He took a sip. "Now Iβm curious. What originally happened during the bear incident?"
The system responded instantly.

Nobody smirked slightly. "Show me the Jirisan mountain bear incident."

The campsite looked peaceful. A small campfire burned warmly in the center while everyone relaxed after dinner.
Rabbi stretched lazily. Akib was laughing about something. Farjana sat beside Jiniya, drinking canned coffee. Ahanaf was trying to cook instant noodles but was somehow failing horribly.
"BRO HOW DID YOU BURN WATER?!" Rabbi shouted.
"I DONβT KNOW!" Ahanaf yelled back defensively. "IT JUST HAPPENED!"
"Pfft!" Jiniya covered her mouth trying not to laugh.
Farjana sighed. "Humanity is doomed."
Meanwhile, a little farther away from the group....
Toma quietly walked near the trees. Soft glowing fireflies floated around her beneath the dark forest sky. Tiny golden lights drifted through the air like living stars. The scenery looked unreal and beautiful.
Nobody paused slightly seeing the scene. "...Damn. No wonder romance stories always use fireflies."
Then Aiden slowly approached Toma from behind. He stopped beside her quietly.
The fireflies reflected softly in Tomaβs eyes.
Aiden looked at her silently. Then said, "...Looks like even the fireflies gathered because of you."
Toma blinked. "...Huh?"
Aiden looked away slightly afterward."...I mean...The scenery suits you."
Toma stared at him in surprise. Her cheeks became slightly red. "...That sounded smoother in your head, didnβt it?"
Aiden coughed awkwardly. "...Maybe."
She laughed softly afterward. The atmosphere felt warm and natural.
And Mr.Nobody was watching the entire scene with dead eyes. "...Wow...talk about being cheesy.."
At that exact moment....
The system window suddenly appeared beside him.

In the screen the original timeline continued peacefully.
Toma looked toward the floating fireflies quietly. "...Theyβre beautiful."
Aiden nodded once. "...Yeah." But his eyes werenβt looking at the fireflies anymore. They were looking at her.
Nobody instantly pointed dramatically. "BRO STOP STARING SO HARD. There are more things to see too in nature."
The system window appeared again.

Nobody looked utterly offended. "DUDE, WHY ARE YOU COMMENTATING LIKE A SPORTS ANNOUNCER?!"
Meanwhile
Back near the campsite....Rabbi shouted loudly,"YO AIDEN! COME SAVE YOUR FRIEND BEFORE HE CREATES A CHEMICAL WEAPON."
Ahanaf pointed at the burnt noodles angrily. "IT WAS ONE MISTAKE!"
Akib laughed so hard he nearly fell over.
Aiden smiled warmly hearing them."...Your friends are loud."
Toma sighed. "...Unfortunately."
The two slowly began walking back toward camp. Fireflies continued drifting around them softly.
For a brief moment everything felt peaceful.
But suddenly...
Grrrrrrrrrrrr....
A low growl echoed from deeper inside the forest.
Everyone froze.
Nobodyβs expression immediately changed. "...Ah. That fun part begins. Still gives me chills"
Another growl echoed.
Closer this time.
Heavy footsteps slowly approached through the darkness.
CRACK.
Branches snapped violently.
Farjana looked terrified. "...Tell me thatβs not a bear. Things can not get any worse."
Ahanaf immediately backed away. "WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT WORD OUT LOUD?!"
Rabbi grabbed a flashlight shakily.
Akib whispered nervously: "...Guys...Somethingβs moving."
Then...
The massive grizzly bear emerged from the trees. Its enormous body stepped into the firelight. Golden eyes reflected dangerously. Sharp claws dug into the earth.
Toma gasped softly. "...Oh no..."
The atmosphere instantly shattered.
Aiden immediately stepped in front of her protectively. "Everyone back away slowly."
Nobody watching quietly muttered: "Yeah...No powers...No systems ....Just pure survival."
The bear growled aggressively.
ROOOOOOARRRRR!!
Then charged.
"RUN!!"
Chaos exploded instantly.
Ahanaf screamed first. "AAAAAAAAAAH!" He grabbed burnt noodles and ran anyway.
Rabbi sprinted behind him.
Akib nearly tripped over camping supplies.
Farjana pulled Jiniya while running deeper into the forest.
Everyone scattered desperately in different directions.
The bear focused directly toward Toma.
Its heavy footsteps thundered across the ground.
Toma froze briefly. "Aiden....!"
"MOVE!" Aiden grabbed her wrist instantly and pulled her into the forest.
Branches scratched against them while they ran.
The bear chased relentlessly behind them.
Nobody folded his arms quietly. "...This really feels different without me. No insane system fights. No choice but to run. Just humans trying to survive."
Toma struggled to breathe while running. "Aiden...! I canβt keep up!"
"You have to!" Aiden said.
The bear roared again behind them. It was getting closer and closer.
Then suddenly...
Aiden noticed something near the abandoned ranger path. A fallen emergency torch. It was still usable. His eyes sharpened immediately."Toma. When I say run...Run without looking back."
Her eyes widened. "...What?"
The bear burst through nearby bushes violently.
ROOOOARRRR!!
Aiden immediately lit the emergency torch.
FWOOOOSH!
Bright fire illuminated the dark forest. The bear paused briefly seeing the flames.
Then Aiden threw the burning torch far toward another direction.
The fire spun brightly through trees. The bear instantly turned toward the moving flames.
ROOOOARRR!!
It chased after the torch.
Aiden grabbed Toma again. "NOW!"
The two sprinted desperately through another route while the bear got distracted.
Nobody widened his eyes slightly. "...Okay. That was actually a smart move."
Meanwhile....Far away....Ahanaf, Akib, Rabbi, Jiniya and Farjana were still escaping through another forest trail.
Rabbi breathed heavily. "IS EVERYONE ALIVE?!"
Ahanaf shouted while running, "I DONβT KNOW BRO I LEFT MY SOUL BACK THERE!"
Farjana glared angrily,"THIS IS WHY WE SHOULDβVE GONE TO A HOTEL!"
Akib looked around worriedly,"...Whereβs Aiden and Toma?"
Silence hit the group briefly.
Then Rabbi spoke seriously. "...We need help."
Back with Aiden and Toma. The two finally slowed near a rocky riverside area.
Toma breathed heavily.
"...Did..."
"...Did we lose it?"
Aiden looked behind them cautiously. "...I think so."
For a moment only river sounds remained.
Toma slowly looked toward him,"...You saved me again."
Aiden looked away awkwardly,"...Anyone wouldβve done that."
The distant roar echoed through the mountain once more.
ROOOOOOOOARRRRR!!
Toma flinched immediately. "...Itβs back."
Aidenβs expression hardened. He quickly looked around the dark forest path. "We need to move before it tracks us again."
Toma nodded nervously.
The two carefully moved through the trees, trying not to make noise. Their breathing remained uneven after the nonstop running. Branches brushed against their clothes while moonlight slipped through the forest canopy above.
Meanwhile....
Mr.Nobody watched the video with folded arms. "...Man. This version really feels tense. Just trauma and cardio."
The system window appeared beside him again.

The system ignored him.
Far ahead..
Voices suddenly echoed through the forest.
"AIDEN!!"
"TOMA!!"
Rabbiβs voice.
Tomaβs eyes widened. "Thatβs them!"
The group finally emerged from between the trees. Ahanaf looked half-dead from exhaustion. Rabbi was breathing heavily. Akib still held a broken flashlight.
Farjana instantly rushed toward Toma. "Oh thank god! Are you hurt?!"
Toma shook her head quickly. "Iβm okay."
Jiniya looked toward Aiden. "...The bear?"
Aiden answered calmly despite his exhausted state. "We escaped it for now."
Nobody quietly observed everyone reuniting. "...Yeah. This feels like the ending of an actual survival Chapter."
Ahanaf suddenly collapsed onto his knees dramatically. "I NEVER WANT TO SEE A FOREST AGAIN."
Rabbi immediately replied,"You were the one who suggested camping!"
"THAT WAS BEFORE SATANβS DOG APPEARED!"
"IT WAS A BEAR!"
"SAME THING!"
Even Toma laughed slightly hearing them argue again.
The heavy atmosphere softened little by little.
But Aiden still remained alert. "We shouldnβt stay here. The bear could still be nearby."
Akib nodded quickly. "There was a forest office station not far from the lower trail."
Rabbi immediately stood up. "YES. I THINK I SAW IT ....LETβS GO."
The group carefully moved together through the forest path.
This time nobody separated.
Nobody watched quietly through the system screen. "...So this is how it originally went. Just people trying to survive one terrifying night together."
After nearly twenty exhausting minutes....
Lights finally appeared through the trees. The small forest office building stood near the roadside, surrounded by emergency vehicles and park staff.
The moment the workers saw them approaching....
"THEYβRE HERE!"
Several staff members rushed toward them immediately.
"Young man are you injured?!" One said.
"Did the bear attack anyone?" Another person said. "Call medical support!"
The exhausted group finally entered the building safely. After all this chaos everyone could finally breathe properly.
Toma sat down quietly holding a warm blanket around her shoulders.
Aiden stood nearby speaking with forest officers calmly while explaining the situation.
Rabbi was already drinking three paper cups of water like a man rescued from the desert.
Akib looked emotionally broken. "I saw my ancestors tonight."
Farjana smacked his shoulder lightly. "Shut up."
Nobody leaned against the wall quietly. "...And thatβs where the Chapter ended huh."
The system window slowly appeared one final time.
