At Mitchelle’s words, Michael nodded as he agreed with her statement. "We would compensate them to our very best," he said, his tone calm and measured, carrying a quiet assurance behind it.

Although he spoke about compensation, he knew that the word "compensation" was an understatement compared to what he and his wife would give out as departing gifts to the people who had served under them loyally for years. As Apexus Mana Rankers, they were wealthy, far beyond ordinary comprehension, possessing resources that most could never even dream of acquiring in their entire lifetimes.

The maids and butlers at the Null Estate were at the Mortal Rank (F to SSS), meaning a single gift from Mitchelle to these people was no different from the heavens falling into their laps, a blessing that could potentially change the trajectory of their lives entirely.

"What of our family treasure vault? How many of its contents would be useful in the Upper Galaxies?" Collins asked, his tone calm yet thoughtful.

To him, it was best to offer these as gifts to the current Planetary-level beings who served as their guards at the Null Estate, rather than ascend with them only for them to end up as nothing but "trash"-grade items, since they were artifacts from a Lower Galaxy and would likely lose their significance in higher realms.

"That makes sense," Mitchelle stated. Of course, neither she nor anyone else planned to give out everything, but they would only keep the top-tier items and distribute everything else accordingly, ensuring that nothing of extreme true value was wasted or mishandled.

They were already making plans, answers arriving for every question, each idea building upon the last, but then another question arose, one that seemed impossible to solve, and it was Irene who voiced it.

"It seems you people are forgetting something else," Irene stated calmly, a faint smile on her face as she watched Mitchelle, Collins, and Michael discuss ways to deliver the news to various people, since they couldn’t just vanish without explanation or leave matters unresolved.

Hearing Irene’s words, everyone fell into thought, wondering what they could have possibly overlooked amidst all their careful planning.

Irene sighed before speaking again as she saw they weren’t arriving at an answer. "The three of you seem to forget that you are Supreme Monarchs. If you leave, who would oversee your Military Bases?" she asked, her voice steady and direct.

At her question, Mitchelle, Michael, and Collins sat stunned, their minds snapping back to their respective Military Bases: Military Base Alpha-9, Military Base Alpha-8, and Military Base Alpha-7. What was going to happen if they left?

Anthony’s mind shifted to Warlord Raelith, Warlord Brontaga, and the Elf Warlord. At the thought, he shook his head, as he wasn’t exactly close to them.

Mitchelle, Collins, and Michael frowned as they didn’t know how to approach this issue. Although one might suggest telling the soldiers in one base to relocate to another, like Military Base Alpha-3 or something similar, it wasn’t nearly as simple as it sounded; matters of such scale were far more complex than they appeared, involving logistics, hierarchy, resources and stability.

When Anthony had dealt with the Second Supreme Monarch, the matter had been straightforward, as the Soulpen Sovereign had simply overtaken Military Base Alpha-2, but now, there were no more Supreme Monarchs available to assume control, leaving a significant gap in authority, control and power.

’It seems the connection I planned to pull for Tiara and Bryan will no longer work,’ Anthony mused to himself, as he had planned to send Tiara and Bryan to Military Base Alpha-9, where his mother was the Supreme Monarch, but with the current development, that path was effectively closed, forcing him to reconsider his plans.

After a moment of thought, Anthony simply decided to send them to the First Supreme Monarch. Although it seemed that man wasn’t out of seclusion yet and was still going through the knowledge Aaaninja had given him, after all, Aaaninja’s knowledge on Time was immense, such that only individuals like Anthony could keep up with it throughout the Acarnis Galaxy.

’I will send them to the Military Base Alpha-1 then’ Anthony thought as he planned to have a word with the First Supreme Monarch concerning this.

"Sigh... I can’t think of anything this time around," Mitchelle spoke as she shook her head, frustration evident in her expression.

"Me too," Michael replied, as he felt as though he was getting a headache from trying to come up with a viable solution.

"It seems we aren’t ruthless enough," Collins stated in a calm tone, though his words carried a deeper meaning.

At his words, everyone smiled as they understood what he meant. Someone ruthless would have simply ascended, abandoning the entire Military Base as the establishment would no longer have anything to do with them. If the Demon Monarchs took advantage of the absence of the Supreme Monarch, they wouldn’t care or even blink at the deaths of their soldiers, since they would already be on their way to the Upper Galaxies, detached from the consequences.

The Null family could have taken such an approach, but at the end of the day, they had loyal men, soldiers who died every day battling the evil forces of the Galaxy, and that loyalty was not something they could simply discard without thought or remorse.

"It seems this ascension isn’t as easy as we thought it would be; there appears to be a lot of work to be done before we leave," Michael spoke as he shook his head with an exasperated sigh, clearly weighed down by the reality of their situation.

Anthony and Irene were the most relaxed ones, as they literally had nothing to manage. They ruled over nothing, so there were no farewells or final gifts to distribute, nor responsibilities to wrap up before their departure, leaving them free from such burdens.

Anthony seemed to suddenly remember something, his sky-blue eyes turning to Irene as he spoke. "Grandma, when I was little, I seem to remember you telling me that you healed people in exchange for favors instead of Mana Crystals and such. Wouldn’t now be the perfect time to cash in on all those favors before you ascend? You know, gather as many items as possible, like Sap of Vitality, a Branch of the Elf World Tree, and all sorts of things that would remain useful in the Upper Galaxies, even if their effects are minor," he spoke calmly, reminding Irene of her own share of responsibilities and opportunities.

Irene paused in her seat, her eyes flashing with a certain light as she immediately remembered that she was owed hundreds, if not thousands, of favors accumulated over many years. This was indeed the perfect time to collect on all of them, just as her grandson had suggested, making full use of what she had built.

"It seems I have my own work cut out for me," Irene spoke calmly, as she genuinely looked forward to cashing in all those favors. After all, she usually had nothing to do but spend her time with her husband, but now, while Collins had important matters to handle, she too would be occupied, her time and effort finally directed toward something substantial.
