The Ye Family members watched as Xuan Ce led Ye Liuyun and Ye Lin’er away. They didn’t try to stop them—not that they could have. How could they? They couldn’t even defeat Ye Liuyun, let alone Xuan Ce, who was clearly much stronger.

"Ye Xiu is truly a monster," Ye Zhong said, scratching his head in annoyance and regret. "I’m just so happy..." Blushing, Ye Liuyun released Ye Xiu and scratched his head with a silly grin before sniffing loudly and swallowing.

The sight grossed Ye Xiu out. He said, "Chloe, take them inside to wash up. While you’re at it, treat Ye Lin’er’s injuries."

Possessing the Medicine King Valley Totem, Chloe had become quite the little healer.

"Please, follow me," Chloe said kindly.

Ye Liuyun quickly carried Ye Lin’er and followed Chloe into the villa.

Only then did Ye Xiu turn to Xuan Ce, a look of satisfaction on his face. "Xuan Ce, you’ve worked hard these nine years."

Dropping to one knee, Xuan Ce replied, "It is my honor to serve the Young Master. It was no hardship at all!"
