Chapter 1550 - 1136: Exposing Each Other’s Shortcomings
Ash was quite moved after hearing this.
It turns out that Felix was also someone who cared about the team, not just him!
Although Felix’s way of maintaining the team was a bit strange, insisting that he was the biggest Source of Chaos in the team—clearly the wardrobe was the real Source of Chaos—but Felix’s intention was commendable!
Ash took a deep breath and laughed happily, "Felix, I appreciate your good intentions, but you don’t need to do this, I promise I won’t actively seduce them—"
"I might have believed you before, but now even when you’re alone you can pester yourself for half the night, do you think I would trust your self-control?" Felix’s tone was full of skepticism, "If you don’t periodically manage your overflowing desires, you’re definitely going to turn into a raging beast!"
"You... okay, okay, I promise." Ash had to placate him, "I promise I’ll handle it well."
"Then you’ll have to handle it daily, and after you do, tell me which photo you liked the most, and finish by looking at which photo." Felix’s voice was a bit shy but very determined, "Since you promised, this sort of thing should be doable, right?"
Ash burst out, "Why do I need to do this?"
"Firstly, it’s supervision, and secondly, it’s collecting data on your quirks, uncovering your hidden interests." Felix spoke with conviction, "There are many times when you don’t actually know what you like, until you encounter it and boom, your mind opens up, appreciating an unprecedented beauty. It’s like cooking, by analyzing your food preferences, I can custom-make the dishes best suited for you."
"Plus, I’m just starting to learn selfies, and through customer feedback, I can improve my skills."
Though what you’re saying makes sense, telling this kind of information to a girl is really bizarre!?
But Ash didn’t need to strongly refuse; after all, Felix’s ’self-sacrifice plan’ would be killed in the cradle by the operators tomorrow, so he said, "Alright, alright, but I’m really not someone who does daily tasks, most of the time I’m quite restrained, tonight’s an exception, don’t take it as the norm!"
"I’ll make sure you do daily tasks!" Felix said confidently.
Could you not sound so passionate!
"Then I won’t disturb you anymore, utilize well." Felix got up to leave.
Ash felt relieved inside; finally tonight, a girl left normally, it wasn’t easy...
"Where did you put your clothes?" Felix suddenly asked.
"Don’t know, maybe threw them on the ground?" Ash replied casually; his clothes had vanished mysteriously since meeting the Sword Maiden.
"Then don’t pick them up, just take them to wash directly tomorrow," Felix said, "To avoid you collapsing asleep after being busy, I’ll find the clothes for you first."
"Oh." Ash replied casually, then heard footsteps heading toward the wardrobe, and his brain finally reacted.
"Wait!"
At the moment Felix opened the wardrobe in the dark, Ash decisively wrapped his arms around her waist and turned her around. He hugged so quickly and urgently that the unsuspecting Felix fell completely into his arms, her warm skin touching his, making her freeze as if electrocuted.
"Sorry." Ash immediately let go, "I’ll dress myself, you don’t need to help me find clothes."
"Just to stop me from finding clothes, you directly hugged me?" Felix said softly, "You’ll get me blamed by the Sword Maiden and them."
"I’m just a little Holy Domain, can’t bear the wrath of Demigods."
Ash said, "I’ll explain to them, you don’t need to worry."
Felix shook her head, "I’m not worried about myself, I’m worried about them. You can’t control yourself in front of me, I have no doubt that you’d lose rationality in front of them."
Ash wanted to explain, but the reason to prevent clothes finding was too weak, he could only bear Felix’s accusation aggrievedly.
Felix sighed, "I really shouldn’t have had a fluke mentality; you, this trash bin, how could you be satisfied with that kind of scale?"
Ash couldn’t help but retort, "No, those photos are already erotic enough."
"Wait for me a moment."
In the darkness came the rustle of clothing rubbing, scratching his heart. Ash was a bit confused, suddenly his hand was caught, and his Miracle Bracelet was opened, directly switching to photo mode.
But because no lights were on, the interface was pitch black.
Felix let go of his hand, after a few seconds said, "Press the shoot button."
Ash followed suit, the flash then sounded, illuminating the scene before his eyes.
The golden-haired girl had her clothes fully opened, hands crossed at her chest, elbows arching snow-white softness, making them appear more gathered and full, proud and beautiful curves fully displayed in Ash’s eyes. She turned her head to the side, lightly biting her lip, her gaze full of hesitation and shyness, yet more charming.
This scene was clearly recorded in the Miracle Bracelet photo, becoming a moment saved forever.
As the flash dimmed, Felix immediately put on her clothes, trying to use an indifferent tone to say, "Happy birthday, enjoy." 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂
But she nearly fled the tent, staggering a bit as she left.
The last visitor left, and the tent returned to silence. Ash looked at the photo on the Light Screen that was just taken, and had to admit this was indeed a perfect piece of art, not only showcasing Felix’s beauty and cuteness but also capturing the four different expressions of the operators standing in the wardrobe behind her, both soul-stirringly bone-eroding and eerily mysterious, a horror love story.
At this point, Ash directly turned on the light, sighed, "Silver Lamp, activate silence barrier and light-block barrier... I actually feel it doesn’t matter if they’re hidden or not."
Silver Lamp’s power quietly spread throughout the tent, completely isolating all sound and light.
Weiser: "Finally, we can talk."
Vishi: "Who just hit me on the head?"
Diya: "I’m getting squished. Ash, can’t you get a bigger wardrobe?"
Sonia: "You all, put on your clothes properly!"
They were still in the same state as before they entered the wardrobe. Only Vishi was still wearing the maid outfit, but her top was pulled down to her waist. Sonia and Diya, although only wearing one piece, had everything that needed covering covered. Weiser, having two pieces of clothing, was made even more alluring as one of them was a pair of glasses.
They exchanged glances and then slowly separated, occupying the four corners of the bed. Having hidden in the wardrobe for quite some time, they all seemed a bit disheveled and not fully dressed, but after confronting openly like this, their auras instantly surged back, fully displaying their demigod charisma.
They stared at Ash, who was sitting there drinking pineapple juice. After thinking for a moment, he finally spoke: "You all—"
"Don’t speak." Sonia immediately revoked his right to speak: "Vishi, a few hours ago you were advising us to keep our distance from Ash, but why did you seek zero-distance contact with him in the middle of the night?"
Diya: "Yeah, right, you’re so deceitful, telling us to abstain, but you can’t abstain yourself!"
Weiser: "You even made us reconsider if our feelings for Ash were indispensable, but it turns out you’re the one who couldn’t hold out till tomorrow morning!"
Vishi: "You have the nerve to accuse me. When I said it, everyone agreed, but you all showed up even earlier than me tonight... You’ve had your fill, and now you’re criticizing me for eating leftovers?"
Ash: "Hey!!!"
Vishi: "Even if I was wrong, I’m only fourth; the first place person is the most guilty!"
Diya: "Sword Maiden, I’ll have to criticize you here. You were the first to break the rules. I thought I was impatient, but you... I didn’t expect to unlock an indirect kiss with you tonight."
Sonia blushed to her ears, angrily said: "Don’t mention the indirect kiss!"
Weiser puzzled: "Hasn’t everyone already unlocked indirect kissing long ago?"
Vishi, perceptive as ever, sniffed the air and immediately understood: "Sword Maiden, have you not rinsed...?"
Before the maid could finish, Sonia snatched Ash’s drink cup and gulped down half of the pineapple juice. Still annoyed, she grabbed Ash’s arm and bit it. Ash knew Sonia was deeply embarrassed this time, so he ruffled her hair and brought her in for a kiss to soothe her emotions.
"But I didn’t expect the mighty Ghost Prophet to be so... cute when in love?" Weiser clicked her tongue and said: "I thought you were the type to put a chain around someone’s neck and call it love."
"If I could do that—" Vishi blurted but then quickly recovered. "Think what you want; I’m just coming to Ash for regular trades."
"Silver Lamp, you have the gall to speak," Diya said sarcastically. "You pretended to be pitiful, making Ash feel guilty and compensating you... Big liar!"
"Witch, did you forget you directly threatened Ash, nearly coercing him to submit?" Sonia coldly replied, "The worst is you!"
The four exchanged glances and suddenly realized that continuing the conversation would only make the situation increasingly awkward. Everyone held dirt on each other; exposing everything would embarrass everyone. Even Sonia had the crime of "being the night’s first kill."
"What now?" Weiser shifted the topic. "Pretend nothing happened tonight?"
Diya immediately followed: "Sure, continue to let the Gospel Divine Being supervise. If anyone steps into Ash’s tent, it will alert everyone!"
"Wait, Ash asked me earlier if I cracked the Gospel Divine Being, meaning you’ve all cracked it?" Without Ash’s embrace, Vishi’s intelligence returned to its usual level. "The Gospel Divine Being’s supervision is meaningless to you all now; I disagree!"
"That’s right," Sonia hugged Ash closely, "we need to establish better supervisory rules from now on!"
"Why not just forget about abstaining altogether? Let’s take turns one night each," Diya suggested boldly. "Anyway, I don’t want to abstain any longer."
"Absolutely not!" Sonia insisted. "We must continue!"
"Are rules destined to be broken even necessary?" Weiser also advised.
"I’ll watch you all closely. You can watch me too," declared the red-haired girl unequivocally. "I won’t let tonight’s incidents happen again!"
Everyone was shocked. They would prefer no one gets any rather than having others partake—a combat strategy of mutual destruction!
But when Vishi saw the reluctance on Sonia’s face, she immediately realized that the Sword Maiden was not angry with Ash but with herself for missing the opportunity.
If she hadn’t come tonight, she could have capitalized on the three witches’ mistakes, perhaps forcing Ash to vow never to approach them again. But not only did she come, she was the first, holding the lowest moral ground; so even though she was furious, she had no right to get angry, as she was the first to break the rules.
She thought about setting another abstinence trap, ready to chop off anyone’s hand who dared reach out!
"But all rules have loopholes, especially when Ash is sleeping. Such a closed space offers maximum exploitation potential," Diya stated seriously. "How about this: I’ll selflessly sleep with Ash every day to supervise him for you all!"
Weiser suddenly chimed in: "The Witch is right."
"What!?" Everyone focused their eyes on Weiser, searching for the strings controlled by the Witch.
"As long as Ash has a closed resting space, things like tonight will surely happen," Weiser said. "So the best supervision method is to let everyone see, such as letting Ash sleep outdoors, by the bonfire, where anyone can see if something happens."
Ash was stunned.
The operators began considering the feasibility of this suggestion. Sonia looked to Ash, "What do you think?"
"I think," Ash said sincerely, "Felix’s suggestion is quite good."
