Bae Chi pulled his hand down, unhappily putting on a stern face and remaining silent.

Chi Enen knew his dignity as a man had been bruised again, so after glaring at the culprit, she walked up to Bae Chi and coaxed, "Baby, let’s go out for dinner. What do you want to eat?"

Though he said that, he didn’t say she couldn’t.

Chi Enen knew he was just being awkward, smiled and rose, "Come on, get ready with what you need to bring out; I’m hungry."

"Eat, eat, eat, all you know is eating, sooner or later you’ll become a big fatty, let’s see if The Neighbor Old Wang will still want you then..." He mumbled barely audibly, stepping back in his parents’ slippers to pack his backpack.

Li Beijue was not seeing the two interacting for the first time, but every time he saw Chi Enen and Bae Chi interacting like equals, warmly like friends, he felt something differently inside, as if a part of his heart had collapsed and become warm.

The way Chi Enen and Bae Chi interact might seem unconventional to others, and some might even think Bae Chi lacks manners.

But it was Chi Enen’s way of giving him enough freedom and space that, during the five years lacking fatherly love, Bae Chi didn’t develop a timid personality but grew to be cheerful, emotionally intelligent, sensible, and caring.

Indeed, Chi Enen’s educational method was the right one.
