Living With My Yandere Professor
Chapter 94: Date
"Don’t stay up playing on your phone until dawn when you get back to your room. If it doesn’t rain tomorrow, we agreed to go out."
"I promise not to stay up late!"
However, as soon as Andrew entered his bedroom, he immediately contacted his Older Sister.
"Older Sister! I’m done playing! Where are you?"
Catherine immediately replied, "What’s up? Want me to carry you to rank up?"
"No, I wanted to ask you something else."
Catherine, "The other party is offline. You can leave her a message."
Andrew, "6."
After taking some effort to order Catherine some late-night snacks, she finally started chatting with him again.
"Tsk, why don’t you ask your most important person, Scarlett? You come asking me instead."
Catherine grumbled inwardly, still feeling a bit dissatisfied.
As expected, once a younger brother gets a Girlfriend, the Older Sister becomes a passerby.
"I really can’t ask Professor Scarlett about this. What I need to ask is about tomorrow’s date with Scarlett."
Upon seeing this message, Catherine on the other side sat straight up in bed, startling her three roommates.
Catherine, "Now that you’re talking about this, I’m not sleepy anymore."
"..."
Andrew pulled at his mouth speechlessly. Finally, he got to the main point.
"Well, tomorrow I plan to go out with Scarlett, which is basically a date. I wanted to ask you if I should prepare some sort of ceremony before I propose to marry Scarlett."
"Ah? You’re only confessing to Professor Scarlett now? I thought you guys had already decided on a name for your son."
"Last time I confessed to Professor Scarlett by accident when I was drunk, and Scarlett agreed. But now I am going to ask for a wedding." He asked directly, ignoring the topic.
Catherine, "Then what are you afraid of! What Scarlett meant is that your drunken confession doesn’t count. She wants you to confess seriously once."
Andrew, "Really? How do you know so clearly?"
Catherine, "Absolutely! So you don’t need to prepare anything at all. Just take Professor Scarlett out and make her happy for the whole day, then confess when she’s in a good mood.
"
Andrew, "It’s not as simple as you say. You should still listen to my plan for tomorrow, and then suggest revisions if you think anything is off."
Catherine, "Fine."
The two kept discussing and negotiating in bed. If someone didn’t know better, they would think two high-level commanders were formulating some kind of battle plan.
To be precise, that wasn’t wrong either: The Date Battle Plan!
Meanwhile, across the living room, in Scarlett’s bedroom, the light from her phone screen never went out.
Scarlett, "I want to ask you something. Aren’t you always boasting about being a love master? What gift should I give a guy that he would definitely be happy about?"
Suzanne, "What’s up? Is it Andrew’s birthday?"
Scarlett, "No, I’m going out with him tomorrow. I’m worried he might get unhappy about something."
Suzanne, "Oh, that’s easy! You don’t need to prepare anything; just your presence is enough!"
Scarlett, "What do you mean?"
Suzanne, "Just dress up beautifully tomorrow, and he’ll definitely be happy. If he really gets upset, just give him a kiss, and he’ll surely be ecstatic."
Scarlett: "..."
The two people under the same roof both had no sleepiness, both wanting to ask someone else for advice to better prepare for tomorrow’s date, yet both felt the other person’s advice was unreliable.
Andrew and Scarlett lay in bed, staring at the ceiling, harboring the same question, "What exactly should I prepare?"
Andrew didn’t sleep much the entire night.
First, he discussed things with Catherine for a long time, but they still couldn’t reach any reliable conclusion.
Then, he lay in bed thinking by himself for quite a while, only falling asleep when he was utterly exhausted.
But the very next day, just as the sky outside began to faintly lighten, Andrew woke up, feeling almost no drowsiness at all.
When a person cares deeply about something, the body and brain will automatically issue a timely alarm, without needing any external reminder.
"I’m not sleeping anymore. I’ll get up, wash my face to sober up, and make breakfast for Scar."
Andrew was unusually early today, thinking he would prepare breakfast, but when he pushed open his door and came out, Scarlett had somehow already gotten up and placed freshly toasted sandwiches and hot milk on the table.
Andrew looked closely and noticed that Professor Scarlett seemed to have faint dark circles under her eyes.
"Scar, did you not sleep well last night?" Andrew sat down beside her and asked softly.
"Mm." Scarlett nodded and quietly ate her breakfast.
She hadn’t slept poorly last night; she hadn’t slept at all. Up to this moment, she still hadn’t decided which outfit to wear when going out today.
Dressing up beautifully, but what exactly constituted dressing up beautifully?
There was no fixed standard for that. What if she thought it looked good, but this Little Fellow didn’t like it?
Would it affect his mood for their outing today? Would he be unhappy because of it? Would he be so upset that he couldn’t think straight after today?
Scarlett’s thoughts became more exaggerated and absurd the more she thought, with all sorts of strange possibilities flashing through her mind.
However, her expression remained calm, showing no emotion. In Andrew’s view, she had simply slept poorly and was a bit tired now, which was why she was quiet.
"You clear the plates. I’m going to change. You should get ready too."
"Oh, okay." Scarlett stood up and walked toward the bedroom, closing the door behind her without making any further sound.
Andrew quickly finished his breakfast and then went to change his clothes.
His attire was much like usual: a white shirt and a pair of casual trousers. He combed his messy hair, resulting in an overall look that was sunny and relaxed.
Dressing this way was the only consensus he and Catherine had reached after discussing it for over three hours last night.
Dressing casually and simply, rather than too formally and seriously, would prevent casting an invisible pressure on the date.
After changing, Andrew returned to the living room to wait for Professor Scarlett. The rising sun was just slowly emerging from the distant horizon, and the sky outside was already coated in a faint glow, as if slowly unveiling the prelude to today’s journey.
The room was utterly silent, with only the faint sound of Scarlett opening a closet occasionally coming from her bedroom.
Time ticked by second by second.
Until a crisp sound of a door opening instantly jolted the drowsy Andrew awake.
Following the sound, the sunlight projecting in from the window was somewhat dazzling, causing Andrew to squint instinctively.
At that moment, a beautiful figure slowly walked toward him, gradually blocking the sunlight from the window.
The first thing that entered his view was a pair of delicate, pinkish feet, which appeared even fairer and more beautiful under the morning sun.
Next was a white dress. The light white gauze partially obscured the sunlight, while slivers of light pierced through the gaps, illuminating the light, thin skirt underneath, giving it a touch of sacredness.
The next second, the dazzling sunlight before Andrew was mostly blocked by the figure. His eyes gradually widened, his mouth slightly parted, yet he didn’t know what to say.
The upper part of the dress featured a cinched waist design, with a black ribbon wrapped around her slender waist, making it appear even slimmer while also highlighting her full bust.
Her fair and slender arms emerged from the cuffs on both sides, clad in semi-transparent white sun-protective sleeves that looked faintly visible. Her raven-black, beautiful long hair cascaded down her back like a waterfall.
The Scarlett before him was pure and beautiful, just like a kind and lovely girl next door.
Yet, her cool and refined face, paired with the gorgeous little brown handbag in her hand, made her appear mature and more graceful.
"Does this look okay? Am I pretty?" Scarlett asked lightly.
But she received no reply; Andrew was still staring blankly until she asked again, at which point Andrew snapped back to reality.
"Hm?"
"Beautiful! Scar, you look exceptionally beautiful dressed like this."
Receiving Andrew’s answer, and recalling the dazed look he had just worn, Scarlett finally let the anxiety in her heart subside.
Simultaneously, a satisfied smile appeared on her face.
With that, Scarlett put on her shoes and opened the door.
After a moment of thought, Andrew smiled and quickly followed, "Scar, wait for me! I’ll drive."
"Hm?" Scarlett turned her head in confusion and responded.
The two met gaze, and the next moment, they both laughed subtly together.
Scarlett realized she was becoming a bit silly, and Andrew also felt that he always became dull when he was with Scarlett.
Perhaps this is what it’s like between a couple.
"Scar, how about we go play at Cameron Lake today?"
"Mm."
Andrew started the car and drove toward Cameron Lake.
The most famous attraction in Blackthorn City was Cameron Lake, located in the old city district. The lake water was so clear it looked like a mirror.
There were also many ancient architectural sites nearby, and most importantly, there was a lot of delicious food there.
After a half-hour drive, the two arrived beside Cameron Lake, parked the car, and entered the scenic area together.
Since it was the weekend and a rare sunny day, there were many people around.
Scarlett walked on the inner side, holding her small handbag, while Andrew stood by her side, shielding her.
Even so, the turn-head rate wherever they walked was still very high.
Onlookers were all drawn by Scarlett’s beauty.
If it were in the past, Scarlett would only want to leave crowded places quickly; she disliked being stared at.
But now, she didn’t care; having Andrew accompanying her was enough.
As they passed a sugar painting stall, Andrew stopped and asked Scarlett, "Scar, would you like some Cotton Candy?"
Scarlett show a satisfied smile, "Yes."
