Chapter 33: Farewell, Stream Statistics
Lune suddenly reached into a small, hidden pouch strapped to her belt. She pulled out a small object and pressed it firmly into his free hand.
Solomon looked down. Resting in his palm was a heavy, perfectly minted sovereign coin forged from pure white gold. The crest of the Lumiere Dynasty—a brilliant sunburst pierced by a silver blade—was intricately stamped onto the surface.
"What exactly is this?" Solomon asked, carefully tracing the raised edges of the coin.
"I was only able to survive this labyrinth because of you," Lune replied, her voice steady and carrying a hint of her usual royal authority. "I am incredibly thankful for what you did. I currently do not have any proper artifacts or weapons on me to reward you with, but I always ensure my debts are completely cleared."
She pointed to the heavy coin in his hand. "That is a Royal Signet of Passage. It is a formal token of recognition directly from the crown. If you present that coin at any border or royal checkpoint, you will be granted completely unrestricted, free passage throughout the entire Lumiere Dynasty. It essentially grants you a societal status similar to a high-ranking noble, although without the political voting privileges."
Solomon stared at the priceless artifact, completely stunned by the sheer weight of the gift. He closed his fingers over the warm metal and nodded deeply. "Thank you, Lune. I appreciate it."
He offered his hand. Lune took it, and they shared a firm, respectful handshake.
When they finally let go, neither of them moved to speak. They simply stood in the center of the ruined cavern, staring at each other while an incredibly thick, awkward silence settled over the room.
The floating stream interface immediately caught the tension.
[LazyCat: the silence is literally something.]
[GamerGuy: just kiss already bro.]
[User12: someone please say something, I am physically cringing.]
[GoonLord: HEY! DO NOT LOOK AT HER LIKE THAT! BREAK EYE CONTACT IMMEDIATELY!]
Lune finally cleared her throat and stepped back, breaking the trance. She offered a small, fierce smile. "I wish you the best of luck on the lower floors, Solomon. And do not even think about dying down there. If you get yourself killed before you pay me back for my chipped sword, I will personally drag your soul back from hell just to clear the debt."
Solomon let out a genuine laugh and rested the massive executioner’s sword effortlessly on his shoulder. "You definitely will not find me in hell. I would obviously be up in heaven, laughing at you."
Lune rolled her eyes playfully, though her smile remained genuine. She turned around and walked briskly toward the glowing fixed gate at the edge of the chamber.
She tapped the shimmering surface, quickly inputting the spatial coordinates for the Lumiere Adventurer’s Guild. Without looking back, she stepped through the portal and vanished in a flash of blue light.
Solomon stood alone in the quiet, ruined arena. The owl hovered closer, its glowing eyes locking onto him as it waited for his next move.
Solomon exhaled slowly, the silence of the ruined chamber amplifying the chat notification from the owl hovering nearby.
He pulled up his floating stream interface and checked the live view count. It was currently hovering near eight thousand, though the number was steadily dropping by the second. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎
It seemed that the massive influx of viewers who had tuned in specifically to witness a life-or-death boss fight were already beginning to log off now that the immediate danger had passed.
He tapped the screen to open his detailed analytic stats, confirming his suspicion. The viewership had actually peaked at an insane ten thousand concurrent watchers right when he delivered the final strike to the Paladin.
A clear, jagged line on the graph indicated that his audience size directly spiked whenever intense combat broke out.
’If I want to maximize my point income and keep the algorithm pushing my stream,’ Solomon mused to himself, ’it would probably be best to artificially drag out my future fights. I need to focus on making the choreography look flashy and entertaining rather than just killing everything efficiently. But that’s not my way of fighting, so I will reserve this for boss fights only. If I drag my fights with low ranked monsters, then it will just make me look weak.’
He swiped to the next tab to check his permanent audience metrics. His total subscriber count, who were the viewers who had actively favorited his channel to receive live notifications, was currently sitting at exactly 969.
For a first-year student broadcasting their very first dungeon run, those numbers were absolutely unheard of.
Finally, he opened his total financial summary. He needed to know exactly how much capital he had to work with before descending into the lower floors. The system instantly populated a comprehensive breakdown of his earnings.

❖[Grand Total Earned: 136,150 Points]❖
Solomon stared blankly at the final number glowing on the screen. He had officially earned 136,150 points. The mandatory academy quota required to avoid expulsion was only 50,000 points per month.
He had completely shattered the required threshold by nearly triple the amount, and he hadn’t even finished his first broadcast yet.
Solomon dismissed the financial summary with a quick swipe of his hand. He had more than enough points to buy standard supplies, but right now, momentum was his greatest asset.
He rolled his shoulders, feeling the dull ache of exhausted muscles protest under his academy uniform, and took a deep, steadying breath.
He bent down and grabbed the thick hilt of Eden’s Penance. The divine steel immediately sent another jolt of electric resistance up his arm, but he forced his aura pathways to bear down on the sensation, hoisting the massive executioner’s sword onto his shoulder.
With his new weapon secured, Solomon walked past the shattered pillars and approached the glowing fixed gate at the far end of the boss chamber. The swirling blue vortex hummed with raw spatial magic. As he stepped within range, a translucent holographic terminal materialized in front of the portal.
Two distinct options hovered on the screen: [Return to Entry Point: Academy] or [Descend: Dungeon Floor 1].
The chat interface hovering near the bronze owl immediately flared up as the viewers realized what he was doing.
[LazyCat: wait... why is he standing in front of the descent terminal?]
[GamerGuy: BRO. GO HOME. YOU HAVE 130K POINTS!]
[BloodKnight: Solomon, do not do this. The adrenaline is clouding your judgment. You are completely unarmored!]
[GoonLord: I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOU CLICK DESCEND I AM UNSUBSCRIBING (NO I AM NOT BUT I WILL BE VERY MAD)]
’Looks like some are staying even after Lune left. I was certain that this ’GoonLord’ would leave, but I guess not.’
Solomon let out a low chuckle and looked directly at the mechanical owl’s glowing camera lens.
"Going back to the academy means waiting a full thirty days before I can dive back into this specific sector," Solomon said, a confident smirk pulling at the corner of his mouth. "And let’s be honest, you guys didn’t subscribe to watch me sleep in a dorm room. The viewer count is dropping, so it’s time to turn the heat back up."
Without a single ounce of hesitation, he reached out and firmly pressed his finger against the [Descend: Dungeon Floor 1] coordinate.
The blue vortex immediately shifted, swirling into a violent, blood-red hue as the spatial anchors locked onto the lower depths of the dungeon.
"I just hope the monsters down there can actually put up a tough fight," Solomon muttered, tightening his grip on the massive greatsword. "I have a lot of new techniques I want to test out."
Ignoring the meltdown happening in his chat, Solomon stepped directly into the crimson portal as the spatial magic swallowed him whole.
