"Ahem…" Qin Yi coughed lightly and said, "I think it's time I head up to the seventh floor."

The old slob said, "Qin Yi, I can tell your Cultivation isn't weak, but the seventh floor is no joke. One careless step and your little life might be left up there."

"Senior, don't worry. Since I dared to come, I'm not afraid of taking risks."

The old slob lowered his voice, sounding a bit embarrassed. "No, you misunderstood me. What I mean is, could you maybe pay me first? If you die up there, who am I supposed to go after for the money?"

Qin Yi almost collapsed on the spot.

The old slob stared at Qin Yi, face full of hope.

A wicked smile flashed in Qin Yi's eyes. He turned to Yin Qianqian. "He said your boobs are really big, and he really wants to use them as a pillow every day."

Yin Qianqian instantly blew her top.

The old slob was so scared his dark face turned pale. He frantically waved his hands. "No, I didn't say that! Qin Yi's framing me. Fairy Qianqian, you know I'm not that kind of person."

After speaking, he glared angrily at Qin Yi. "You little brat, you set me up."

"Nope, didn't. Weren't those your own words? As a man, if you've got the guts to say it, have the guts to admit it. I look down on you."

With that, Qin Yi walked straight toward the stone steps to the seventh floor.

"You filthy old bum, I didn't expect you to be this disgusting. If your auntie here doesn't teach you a lesson today, you'll never know how high the heavens are." Flames burned in Yin Qianqian's eyes as she slammed a palm straight toward the old slob.

The old slob's face was full of grievance. "I really didn't say it, Fairy Qianqian, you have to believe me. How could I possibly profane you?"

As he spoke, he raised his hand, and a terrifying power swept out, directly dissolving Yin Qianqian's strike.

Standing on the steps, Qin Yi glanced over and thought to himself, "This old slob's Cultivation really is terrifying. No wonder he could become the Tower Master of the sixth floor. But this old man is really irresponsible, no bottom line at all, just let me go up this easily."

Qin Yi calmed his mood, walked to the Stone Gate, pushed with his hand, and the Stone Gate opened. He stepped inside.

As he entered the seventh floor, Qin Yi couldn't help but freeze for a moment.

Because along the way, only Yin Qianqian's fifth floor had been renovated. But this seventh floor was truly resplendent and magnificent, carved beams and painted rafters, meticulously decorated. The floor was covered with a red carpet—it was basically a luxurious palace.

And there was more than one person on the seventh floor: there were Silver Armor Guards and young maids.

Qin Yi stepped on the red carpet and walked forward. At the depths of the great hall he saw a high platform, with a table and chairs set upon it. A barefoot middle-aged man in white clothes was reclining sideways in the arms of a pretty maid, while several other attractive women were carefully attending to him.

Below the high platform stood a man in white, a Longsword on his back, staring coldly at Qin Yi.

The man on the high platform never looked at Qin Yi from beginning to end. He just ate grapes delivered to his mouth by jade-like hands, occasionally sipped fine wine, thoroughly enjoying himself.

Qin Yi, however, didn't pay him much attention. His gaze locked onto a huge iron cage beside the high platform.

There was someone in the cage, a rather small figure—a girl. But the girl's head was hanging, so her face couldn't be seen clearly. In addition, there was also a Fierce Beast in the cage: a green-backed giant wolf over three meters long. Its fur stood up like steel needles, a low growl rumbling from its throat. Its eyes were blood-red, its sharp fanged jaws gaping as it stared at the girl not far from it, thick saliva dripping from its mouth.

Qin Yi frowned slightly and walked toward the cage.

"Whoosh!"

Suddenly, a gust of force shot toward him.

Qin Yi flicked his finger, and a streak of Purple Light shot out.

"Bang!"

The incoming force was shattered by the Purple Light.

Qin Yi staggered back two steps, cracks spreading under his feet. His eyes narrowed slightly, because the thing that attacked him was actually just a grape. He lifted his gaze to the man on the high platform; the other was looking at him mockingly.

"Qin Yi?" the man spoke slowly.

Qin Yi stayed silent, neither confirming nor denying.

The other man spoke again. "You really can stir up trouble. The Sin Tower, all good and proper, and you've turned it into a joke. From the fourth floor on, you've practically breezed your way up."

Qin Yi slowly raised his hand and pointed at him. "Roll over here and fight, or kill yourself. Don't waste my time."

The man couldn't help but burst out laughing. "As expected of the guy who flipped over my Sword Sect Branch—truly arrogant."

"It's just a Sword Sect Branch. If I had the time, I'd actually like to topple your whole Sword Sect."

The other sneered. "Ambitious. But do you think the Sword Sect and a Sword Sect Branch are the same thing? Qin Yi, how about we make a bet? I bet you won't walk out of the Southern Middle State alive."

Qin Yi said indifferently, "If I want to leave, forget your Sword Sect—no one can stop me. But I'd rather make a different bet. I bet you won't walk out of this seventh floor of the Sin Tower alive."

The man's eyes darkened slightly. "Interesting. Do you know what happens to those who act presumptuous in front of me?"

"Don't know, and I don't need to know. I came here to kill you and save someone." Qin Yi looked at the huge iron cage. "Is the person inside the one I'm looking for?"

The man frowned slightly. "You don't know her?"

"First time meeting her."

The man was somewhat surprised. "For someone you've never even met, you actually fought your way up to the seventh floor of the Sin Tower?"

Qin Yi said coolly, "Just fulfilling a request. I, Qin, never go back on my word. Since I promised Jing Wuyan I'd rescue Miss Xiaoxi, I will definitely do it."

"Well said. A man is nothing without trust. Qin Yi, I actually rather admire you. If you're willing to swear allegiance to my Sword Sect, I can put in a good word for you and spare your life. How about it?"

Qin Yi snorted. "I'll guard my own life. You're not worthy."

The man's eyes sank as he barked, "No one's dared talk to me like that in a long time. Amusing."

"If you call getting cursed out 'amusing,' then all I can say is you're really cheap."

As Qin Yi spoke, he suddenly noticed movement inside the cage. The girl slowly raised her head, revealing a delicate, pretty little face, and looked at Qin Yi.

Qin Yi sized her up. Her looks couldn't compare to Yun Mengyao's; at best she was delicately pretty. This was the girl Jing Wuyan kept thinking about?

"Are you Miss Xiaoxi?" Qin Yi asked.

The girl glanced at the Fierce Beast not far away, shrank back in fear, and gave Qin Yi a slight nod.

"Don't be afraid. I'll have you out of here soon and take you to see Jing Wuyan."

Hope clearly flickered in the girl's eyes.

Qin Yi turned back to the man on the high platform and mocked, "The Sword Sect is really something, bullying a lone girl like this. I should give you people an award for 'Most Shameless.'"

The man sneered. "Just a monster from the Netherworld Hall, not even a proper human."

"In my eyes, your Sword Sect lot are even more disgusting. The folks from the Netherworld Hall are much more to my taste."

The other said coldly, "Do you have any idea what happens to those who cozy up to the monsters of the Netherworld Hall?"
