Chapter 2911: Green Light

Tushan Yu sent a telepathic message to Zu An, “Big brother Zu, I’ll stall him. You look for the Asura King.”

“Be careful,” Zu An replied. He needed to first meet the Asura King to decide on his next move.

Tushan Yu smiled. “Don’t worry. I have been faring well in the Asura World even before you arrived.” She put on her hood and made her way toward Pimosh.

Meanwhile, Zu An quickly flashed toward the Blood Crystal Royal Court, which was also the royal palace. It resembled a huge blood crystal, symbolizing the Asuras’ ferocious nature in a graceful manner. That was also how it had gotten its name.

Upon reaching its vicinity, Zu An turned intangible and snuck in. To his surprise, the court was nowhere as tightly guarded as he thought. Is Pimosh not worried that someone might rescue the Asura King?

Zu An soon found the answer to that question. From the conversations of other asuras, he learned that the Asura King had been transferred to the Abyss of Eternal Night. So, he left the Blood Crystal Royal Court.

He intended to first meet Pimosh, but Tushan Yu was already waiting for him. Surprised, he asked, “Your conversation ended so quickly?”

Tushan Yu nodded. “Pimosh seems to have something on his mind. He relayed some instructions before hurriedly leaving. Did you meet the Asura King?”

“I didn’t. He has been transferred to the Abyss of Eternal Night. I captured a few asuras for questioning, but none of them know where the Abyss of Eternal Night is. On top of that, they seemed fearful when talking about that place,” Zu An replied with a frown.

“The Abyss of Eternal Night is a forbidden ground in the Asura World. Asuras have been forbidden from approaching that place for countless years now. It’s normal for most asuras to not know where it is located,” Tushan Yu replied with a smile. “It just so happens that Pimosh instructed me to head to the Abyss of Eternal Night to make some preparations. I’ll take you there with me. That should save you a lot of trouble.”

Zu An was relieved to have met Tushan Yu. “Let me meet my friends and update them first.”

“Are they women?” Tushan Yu asked with an unreadable expression. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎

“You should know them too...” Zu An explained the situation to her.

Tushan Yu’s interest was piqued. “I hadn’t expected you to conquer the Sun Goddess of this world. How did you end up together?”

Zu An had to fill her in on the details along the way. At the same time, he told her about his conjecture that she was Shang Hongyu’s previous incarnation.

Tushan Yu couldn’t help but remark, “They sure are extraordinary. I don’t have any previous or future incarnations.”

Her remark brought focus to a problem that Zu An had been overlooking thus far. He had encountered several of his lovers’ past incarnations to date, but it was bizarre how he had only met the past incarnations of his lovers and no one else’s.

Furthermore, based on his understanding of Death and the Six Paths, those who entered reincarnation were supposed to emerge as completely different beings, be it in terms of appearances or memories. They weren't supposed to look the same as before. Could there be something different about these few?

Amid their chatter, the two of them reached the Silver City before they knew it.

Zu An was able to sense Xihe and Princess Liuli, so it didn’t take him long to find them. Xihe was initially overjoyed to be reunited with him, but upon seeing that he was accompanied by another beautiful lady, she froze on the spot.

I’ve only been away for moments, but he's gotten involved with another woman? Even Emperor Jun doesn’t flirt as quickly as that.

You have successfully trolled Xihe for +66... +66... +66...

Under her seething gaze, Zu An awkwardly introduced Tushan Yu. “Her name is Tushan Yu. She is a close friend of mine...”

Tushan Yu sensed Xihe’s hostility, so she provocatively wrapped her hand around Zu An’s arm.

Princess Liuli stared at Tushan Yu’s robe and frowned. “You are from the Priest Order? You were involved in the encirclement against my father!”

You have successfully trolled Princess Liuli for +110... +110... +110...

Zu An was speechless. Since arriving in the Asura World, he had heard much about how terrible the battlefield where the Celestials and the Asuras clashed was. He had never been to that battlefield, but he felt like he might as well have been there right now.

Tushan Yu lowered her posture and said, “Pardon me for my offense, Your Highness. I didn’t know about the relationship between you and big brother Zu.”

Princess Liuli gnashed her teeth in anger, but she couldn’t blame Tushan Yu for this turn of events.

Zu An was worried that the three women would come to blows, so he quickly changed the topic and asked, “How is it going on your side?”

Princess Liuli replied, “We have made contact with a general. He’s willing to liaise with the other two generals on our behalf.”

Zu An frowned. “Is he reliable?”

Princess Liuli nodded. “He’s a loyal subject, and my father nurtured him from the ground up. He should be reliable.”

“That’s good.” Zu An shared the results of his investigation. “I found that the Asura King had been transferred to the Abyss of Eternal Night. Pimosh is planning to hold a ritual to awaken the Asura Progenitor Demon Go”

Princess Liuli was concerned. “It’ll be harder to rescue my father now that he has been transferred to the Abyss of Eternal Night. I wonder how he’s faring.”

Xihe frowned. “The Asura Progenitor Demon God caused great destruction back then. Countless celestials had to sacrifice themselves to take him down. It’ll be another massacre if he were to return to life.”

“That’s why we have to stop them,” Zu An replied. “I’ll first head to the Abyss of Eternal Night to investigate the situation. In the meantime, you should rally the armies of the other major factions together to reinforce me.”

“All right. Take care of yourself!” Xihe wanted to accompany Zu An into the Abyss of Eternal Night, but Princess Liuli was simply too important here. The latter was needed to persuade the three major camps to join their cause, so her safety was a priority.

They spent some time discussing their next moves before parting ways.

Princess Liuli turned to Xihe and said, “Thank you, big sister Xihe.” Her heart was warmed by how Xihe had stayed by her side even though she was at her lowest point.

Xihe consoled Princess Liuli with a smile, but the thought that she was working for one of Zu An’s lovers while Zu An himself was enjoying couple time with another lover made her feel like she had been cuckolded.

“Achoo~” Zu An sneezed. Xihe must be talking behind my back again.

Tushan Yu said, “Big sister Xihe doesn’t seem to like me. Princess Liuli might not have said much, but she probably doesn’t like me either because of what happened to her father.”

Zu An couldn’t help but think that foxes were truly the worst enemies of women. In a way, Tushan Yu was a bona fide vixen.

“They’ll know that you’re a good person once you spend more time together...” he consoled her.

Some time later, they arrived before a boundless sea.

Tushan Yu looked at the sea and said, “The Abyss of Eternal Night is right below.”
