Reiger turned his gaze towards the mural.

"In the pan-human history, fourteen thousand years ago, the white giant Sapharlu was defeated by humans who were granted the Holy Sword by the Paradise Fairy, allowing the continuation of human civilization."

"But in this Lostbelt, fourteen thousand years ago, the Holy Sword was never born, and humans had no means to defeat Sapharlu. Earth’s civilization was swept away, and the land became a void, transformed into a sea of nothingness."

Reiger’s words reminded everyone of the boundless ocean beyond the Fairy Country, Britain.

In this Lostbelt, apart from the Fairy Country, Britain, there was only this vast ocean. No second continent or second nation exists.

Because, in this Lostbelt, as early as fourteen thousand years ago, the land ceased to exist, leaving only an endless Sea of Nothingness.

The divergence between the British Lostbelt and pan-human history started from this moment.

"But this was just the beginning of their sins. The truly unforgivable evil they committed is yet to come."

Reiger pointed to the massive beast embraced by the six fairies on the mural.

"Do you know who He is?"

This question naturally resulted in everyone looking at each other and shaking their heads.

Reiger quickly unveiled the mystery.

"He is called Cornus, the Beast God, who before the complete destruction of civilization, together with human witches who revered him, hid within Paradise to escape the Stellar Pioneers."

Everyone looked at the mythical beast on the mural, while Reiger’s voice echoed in their ears.

"During the time Earthly civilization was destroyed, while the six Fairy Ancestors lingered in the Sea of Nothingness, the Inner Sea of the Star existing as Paradise, gradually sensed something amiss."

"Thus, Paradise sent the Beast God Cornus, letting Cornus take his witch with him, as an envoy, back to Earth."

"The purpose of the Beast God and the witch was for the six fairies to atone."

Reiger’s voice was nearly devoid of emotion.

"Upon arriving on Earth, Cornus met the six fairies and, together with his witch, sheltered the fairies suffering in the Sea of Nothingness."

"Initially, the fairies were also very grateful; but as time elapsed, they started feeling discontent."

"Because there was no land, they assumed it was due to Cornus’s lack of strength."

"Because Cornus kept urging them to reflect, repent, and atone, they started feeling displeased."

"Thus, they feigned a festival, invited Cornus to participate, and poisoned him with lethal wine."

Thus, an ugly segment of history was exposed by Reiger’s emotionless voice, sending chills down everyone’s spine.

However, the deeds of the fairies were far from over.

"They used Cornus’s body as land and used his devoted human witch as material. With Magic keeping her alive, they cruelly dismembered her."

"Using the witch’s body as material, they created the Lostbelt humans of Britain, and generated their own offspring naturally on Cornus’s corpse, thus forming the six fairy clans of Tooth, Wind, Earth, Mirror, Wing, Rain from their ancestry."

"As the envoys from Paradise came to Earth, intending to redeem the fairies, allowing them to return to Paradise, the Beast God and the witch met their ultimate fate this way."

Reiger’s tone carried increasing irony, even more loathing.

"Thus, Cornus perished, and the last human witch who evaded destruction on Earth by following Cornus to Paradise, was left in a fate worse than death."

"The six fairies and their descendants thus bore the unforgivable original sin, unable to return to the "innocent may pass" Inner Sea of the Star."

"They could only remain on this Sea of Nothingness, in this world, continuing their existence desperately."

Reiger shifted his gaze from the mural back to the crowd.

"Of course, to say they struggled to survive isn’t really correct."

"They probably lived quite well, right?"

"At least, during their lifetimes, they must have lived happily."

"After all, they used the body of the human witch as material to create humans for entertainment."

"Just like the fairies in this Britain, how could they ever realize the unforgivable sins they’ve committed?"

"They go on playing when it’s time, making trouble when it’s time, treating humans as toys to torture, and occasionally engaging in mutual slaughter."

"In their value system, such times might be regarded as meaningful and joyful, perhaps?"

This is the fundamental reason why Reiger so resents the fairies in this Lostbelt.

Simply because, the fairies here are guilty.

Moreover, it’s an unrepentant guilt, unchanged over the thousand-year span of fourteen thousand years, an extremely ugly sin.
