Infinite Survival: My 10,000x Return System
Chapter 56: [] Disciplining a God, The Harvester’s Demise
Arthur Sterling stood on the edge of the command balcony. He stared up at the descending swarm of non Euclidean nightmares.
The Harvester Vanguard numbered in the thousands. It was a writhing ocean of tentacles and fractured eyes and rotting gray miasma that threatened to unwrite the very existence of the Ebon Empire.
Behind him, the five Queens watched in tense silence. Sylvia was still badly shaken from her spell being mutated into screaming flesh.
"System," Arthur commanded in his mind. "Establish a direct link with the Weaver."
[Ding!]
↳ Target Kaelith is actively weaving raw reality to stabilize the host’s environment.
↳ 1,000,000x ROI Multiplier Activated!
↳ Host is passively receiving an infinite stream of Absolute Order energy.
A blinding geometric light erupted from Arthur’s chest. He didn’t just feel powerful. He felt once again like the absolute dictator of reality itself!
The millions of years of conceptual weaving Kaelith possessed were feeding directly into his core and multiplied by a million. His mana reserves were no longer just deep. They were effectively infinite!
Arthur raised his right hand. The Ebonheart Sword snapped into existence. The pitch black blade elongated and hummed with a terrifying structured frequency.
It wasn’t glowing with fire or ice. It was glowing with pure unadulterated Order.
He didn’t fly up to meet them. He simply raised his sword and drew a horizontal
line in the air.
"Delete."
"SHAAAANK!"
A razor thin and perfectly straight line of blinding white light shot upward. It didn’t travel like a projectile. It instantly appeared across the sky and sliced directly through the center of the Vanguard swarm.
Where the light touched, the chaotic horrors didn’t bleed or explode. They simply ceased to exist!
"SQUELCH! SQUELCH! SQUELCH!"
Hundreds of the grotesque beasts were perfectly bisected. The chaotic reality warping miasma leaking from their bodies hit the line of Absolute Order and instantly fizzled out. They were forced to obey the rigid physics Arthur had just imposed on the airspace.
Arthur smirked. The power was intoxicating.
He couldn’t enjoy this alone.
He tapped the side of his neck and accessed the Citadel’s internal communication arrays.
"System. Hijack the planetary broadcast nodes," Arthur ordered. "Put this on every screen and in every mind across the entire Ebon Empire. Let them watch the CEO work."
[Ding!]
↳ Omni Broadcast Initiated.
↳ Broadcasting to: The Mortal Domain, The Apex Realm, The Celestial Court.
Down in the muddy recovering slums of The Mortal Domain, Caden Cross looked up as a massive holographic projection of his Emperor appeared in the sky.
Trillions of mortals, nobles, and divine entities paused. They watched in absolute awe as the man in the dark coat systematically dismantled cosmic horrors with lazy one handed sword swings. Their jaws dropped to the floor.
Up on the balcony, Kaelith watched Arthur’s back. Her white eyes were wide with fascination.
"How is he doing that?" Aurelia asked. Her grip tightened on her dark radiant spear. "That thing ignored the Arch Mage’s magic completely."
"Because he is not using magic," Kaelith projected. Her voice echoed in the minds of the other Queens. "Magic is a manipulation of existing rules. Your Emperor is not manipulating rules. He is enforcing them."
She paused and continued. "Every swing of his blade is a mathematical absolute.
He is telling the Chaos that it is not allowed to exist here. And because his willpower is backed by an infinite energy loop, the universe has no choice but to obey."
Lyra let out a low whistle. "He is literally rewriting their code."
"He is a freak," Morwenna purred. Her liquid gold eyes practically glowed with lust.
"BOOM!"
The sky violently shuddered and interrupted their conversation. The jagged tear in reality ripped open wider. It tore a hole the size of a continent in the Celestial Court’s atmosphere!
The Vanguard stopped swarming. They pulled back and parted like the red sea to make way for their master.
The Harvester had arrived.
It was a colossal floating eye the size of a moon. The sclera was a sickly rotting yellow. The pupil was a fractured jagged mirror that reflected a billion screaming souls. Surrounding the massive eye was a halo of floating shattered glass that warped the space around it.
The moment the Harvester looked down at the Ebon Citadel, a psychic wave of pure unfiltered Madness slammed into the dimension.
It wasn’t a physical attack. It was a conceptual plague designed to shatter the ego and reduce any sentient being into a drooling insane husk.
Down in the lower realms, trillions of mortals clutched their heads and screamed as the edge of the aura brushed their minds.
Arthur didn’t even blink. He just stood there and looked up at the moon sized eye.
[Ding!]
↳ Warning: Supreme Conceptual Attack Madness detected.
↳ Host False Calm (Chaos Tier Passive) is active.
The mind breaking aura washed over Arthur and shattered against his psyche like water hitting a titanium vault. To the Harvester, this attack had broken entire pantheons of Gods. To Arthur Sterling, it felt like a mild annoyance.
"Is that it?" Arthur sneered. His voice was amplified by the broadcast to echo across the cosmos. "I deal with crazy board members every day. You are going to have to try harder than that."
The massive eye twitched. A deep vibrating hum of alien anger vibrated through the bedrock of the Citadel. The Harvester surged forward. Its halo of fractured glass expanded to crush the entire floating fortress.
Arthur bent his knees. The dark metal of the balcony groaned under his heavy weight.
"BOOM!"
He launched himself directly at the falling moon! He didn’t use a massive flashy spell. He channeled the entirety of his Absolute Order and the infinite energy from Kaelith’s multiplier directly into the pitch black blade of the Ebonheart Sword.
He moved at a speed that bypassed time itself. He appeared directly in front of the colossal pupil.
"You are fired," Arthur roared.
He drove the sword forward. He didn’t just pierce the eye. He drove the blade from the top of the monster’s cornea all the way down to the base of its optic nerve in a single brutal vertical cleave!
"SQUELCH!"
A sickening wet tearing sound echoed across the multiverse. The Harvester violently stiffened. A massive perfectly straight line of blinding white light erupted from the center of the giant eye.
The Outer God didn’t explode. It was cleanly bisected. The two halves of the moon sized monstrosity slowly drifted apart. Thick glowing blue ichor rained down from the heavens.
As the beast died, its massive reserves of unformatted energy spilled out into the Ebon Empire. The sickly gray miasma dissolved entirely. It was instantly converted by the laws of Arthur’s realm into hyper dense pure Celestial Qi.
The entire Bubble Realm shuddered with a sudden massive influx of wealth. It enriched the leylines and supercharged the atmosphere.
Arthur floated amidst the raining blue blood and was completely untouched. He turned back toward his Citadel. His dark coat was pristine and his pitch black eyes glowed with absolute triumph.
The harvest was indeed bountiful.
