Chapter 48: [48] The Celestial Emperor’s Fall, Domain of the Infinite

The Imperial Box instantly devolved into an apocalyptic meat grinder!

Arthur Sterling didn’t fight with the elegant choreographed grace of a Celestial noble. He fought like a man who had spent a lifetime tearing down empires brick by brick. His movements were a terrifying blend of corporate ruthlessness and raw unadulterated street violence.

"Die anomaly!" an Imperial Guard screamed. He thrust a glowing halberd aimed directly at Arthur’s heart.

Arthur didn’t dodge.

He raised his left hand and forcibly fused his mastery of Spatial and Temporal laws.

"Pause," Arthur commanded.

The space around the guard’s weapon literally froze in time. The guard’s eyes

widened behind his visor as his momentum was violently arrested.

Arthur stepped inside the guard’s reach. He brought the heavy pommel of the Ebonheart Sword crashing into the center of the man’s faceplate.

"CRACK!"

The reinforced starlight glass shattered completely. The kinetic force of Arthur’s Divine Lord physique drove the guard’s skull backward. It snapped his neck instantly.

↳ Target Eliminated.

↳ Core Absorbed.

↳ Reward: +150,000 System Points.

Behind him his Queens were unleashing absolute hell.

Morwenna was a blur of living darkness. The Demon Empress had fully embraced her

abyssal nature. Her arms elongated into massive razor-sharp claws of dark matter. She didn’t bother parrying. She simply ripped the pristine Imperial Guards limb from limb. She laughed a dark sultry laugh as golden blood rained down on her.

Sylvia Thorne stood like an untouchable statue in the center of the chaos. Her silver hair whipped wildly as she wove complex mathematical equations of pure ice.

"Absolute Zero: Shatter," she whispered.

Five charging guards froze solid mid-step before violently exploding into a million glittering shards of red-tinged ice.

Lyra danced through the shadows cast by the Primordial Flame. Her daggers severed hamstrings and slit throats before the guards even realized she was there.

Aurelia fought with cold military precision. Her dark spear perfectly countered the exact Vanguard techniques she had once taught these very soldiers.

"ENOUGH!"

The Celestial Emperor’s voice boomed and shattered the eardrums of the remaining

guards. The humanoid star raised both his hands. The plasma of his body violently flared.

"I will burn this entire spire to ash and forge a new one!"

The Emperor was preparing to unleash a localized supernova. He didn’t care about

his own guards. He just wanted to eradicate the anomaly!

Arthur’s eyes narrowed.

If the Emperor detonated here the explosion would wipe out the entire arena and risk damaging his Queens.

"System," Arthur roared. "I’m taking this private."

[System Notification]

↳ Initiating: Domain of the Infinite.

↳ Cost: 5,000,000 System Points.

Arthur slammed the tip of the Ebonheart Sword into the marble floor.

A pulse of pure pitch-black geometric energy exploded outward from the blade. It washed over the room. It instantly swallowed Arthur and the Emperor and the surviving elite guards.

The white marble of the Imperial Box vanished.

They were instantly transported into a boundless endless void of shifting geometric lines and absolute darkness.

Arthur had created his own pocket dimension!

It was perfectly isolated from the Celestial Court outside. Here the laws of the

universe didn’t apply. Here Arthur made the rules.

"A parlor trick!" the Emperor sneered. His blinding form illuminated the dark void. "You think trapping me in a box will save you? I am the Heavens! Will of the the Dimension: Absolute Crushing Force!"

The Emperor thrust his hands down. He attempted to use his administrative

authority over the dimension to instantly multiply the gravity on Arthur by a million.

Nothing happened!

"Your admin rights don’t work on my server sparky," Arthur mocked. "You’re in my

house now."

The Emperor’s featureless face seemed to twitch with genuine panic. For the first time in three million years his commands were ignored.

Arthur didn’t give him time to process the failure. He blurred using his Transcendent Spatial Velocity. He crossed the void in a microsecond.

He appeared directly above the Celestial Emperor with his sword raised high in a

two-handed grip.

"Let’s see if a star bleeds," Arthur snarled.

He brought the Ebonheart Sword down in a devastating vertical cleave. The Primordial Flame roared and burned away the Emperor’s plasma shields instantly.

"SQUELCH!"

The dark blade tore through the Emperor’s shoulder. It cleaved deep into the center of his glowing chest. The heat was astronomical but the Ebonheart Cube

simply devoured the ambient energy and protected Arthur’s hands from the backlash.

The Emperor let out a horrifying metallic screech. He swung his arm back. A

blade of pure condensed starlight formed in his hand. He slashed at Arthur’s ribs.

"CLANG!"

Arthur casually parried the blow. The sheer kinetic impact sent a shockwave through the pocket dimension but Arthur didn’t give an inch of ground.

"Your technique is garbage," Arthur criticized ruthlessly. He expertly twisted his wrist to lock the Emperor’s blade. "You rely entirely on your stat block.

You’ve never had to actually fight for your life have you?"

With a brutal kick Arthur drove his heavy boot directly into the Emperor’s knee.

It shattered the construct’s leg!

As the God stumbled Arthur ripped his sword free and spun. He delivered a

devastating horizontal slash that completely decapitated the glowing entity!

The Emperor’s head spun into the void and dissolved into light. The body collapsed and rapidly lost its form.

Arthur let out a slow breath. He shook the residual plasma off his blade.

It was too easy.

Suddenly the dissolving body began to laugh. It wasn’t the sound of a dying man.

It was the booming arrogant laughter of a God.

"You think you killed me?" the Emperor’s voice echoed from the very walls of the

pocket dimension. It originated from the dissolving corpse. "You fool. This is a mere projection! A puppet I use to interact with the cattle. My true body is the dying star at the absolute center of this realm. You cannot cut a star with a sword anomaly. I will simply build a new avatar and hunt you down!"

Arthur stared at the fading light. He slowly lowered the Ebonheart Sword.

"A projection," Arthur murmured.

His eyes narrowed. He looked at the system interface hovering in his vision. The Emperor was right. You couldn’t stab a sun to death.

But Arthur Sterling was a corporate liquidator. If a competitor was too big to

dismantle manually you just collapsed their foundation.

Arthur commanded the Ebonheart Cube to retract. The dark metal dissolved back into his shoulder.

He stood in the center of the infinite void. He raised both of his bare hands with his palms facing outward.

A terrifying manic grin spread across his face!

"System," Arthur commanded. His voice vibrated with absolute world-ending

authority.

"Give me 10,000x gravity compression on my spatial coordinates.

Let’s make a black hole."

[Ding!]

[Initiating Extreme Spatial and Gravitational Compression]

[Warning: Host is attempting to manifest a singularity]

↳ The physical strain will catastrophically exceed current physiological

parameters.

[Ten Thousand Times ROI Multiplier Activated]

"Just do it!" Arthur roared loudly.

He thrust his right hand forward. His fingers curled like he was trying to crush the very fabric of reality itself.

"VMMMMMM!"

The sound was not noise. It was the agonizing groan of physics collapsing!

In the center of Arthur’s palm, a speck of absolute and unfathomable darkness

materialized. It was not black. It was an aggressive absence of light, a localized tear in the universe that greedily began to drag everything toward it.

The sheer gravitational pull of the anomaly hit Arthur first.

"CRACK! Squelch!"

Arthur gritted his teeth as a harsh and bloody hiss escaped his lips. The bones in his right arm fractured in a dozen places instantly.

The skin of his hand split open. Muscle fibers violently tore apart as the sheer mass of the singularity tried to suck its own creator into the void. His dark coat, woven from high tier celestial silk, shredded into fine dust that was instantly devoured by the black hole.

"Fvck!" Arthur grunted. His boots slid forward on the invisible floor of his pocket dimension.

[Ding!]

[Catastrophic physiological damage detected]

↳ Dimensional Breaker Physique operating at maximum capacity.

↳ Ten Thousand Times Cellular Regeneration active.

The agony was blinding, but the recovery was just as violent!

As fast as the gravity crushed his bones into powder, his pseudo ascended core pumped out millions of years worth of refined vitality. It forcibly knitted his flesh back together. His arm broke, healed, broke again, and healed harder!

His muscles densified to a terrifying degree. His cells rapidly evolved to withstand the localized apocalypse he was holding.

[Host physical vessel is forcibly adapting to absolute gravitational stress]

[Host has breached the Celestial Lord Tier]

↳ Host has reached: Celestial King.

A shockwave of pure and unadulterated power exploded from Arthur’s core.

The newly acquired Celestial King strength surged into his right arm, finally stabilizing the fracturing bones. He stopped sliding forward. He planted his boots and his jaw locked in a feral and bloodthirsty snarl.

The singularity in his hand had grown to the size of a golf ball. Yet it held the mass of a thousand planets!

Arthur looked up.

Through the transparent walls of his Domain of the Infinite, he could see the true sky of the Celestial Court. Above the sprawling golden clouds hung a massive bloated star. It pulsed with a sickly dying light.

It was the true body of the Celestial Emperor. A cosmic parasite that had sat on its throne for three million years!

The telepathic network of the Celestial Court suddenly flared to life in Arthur’s mind. The Emperor was screaming!

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"

The voice of the dying star violently shook the minds of every living being in the dimension.

The sheer panic in the God’s tone was delicious.

"YOU WILL DESTROY THE ENTIRE REALM! YOU WILL KILL YOURSELF, ANOMALY!"

Arthur just laughed. It was a dark and booming sound that bounced through the

void. He did not care about the realm. He did not care about the Emperor’s grand design.

"I am filing for bankruptcy on your behalf," Arthur sneered.
