Infinite Sharing System: Cultivating With My Sister In The Apocalypse
Chapter 54: Getting Ready For Their Arrival
(Last day of endurance training, the base of the mountain.)
"You, you, and you." Feng Xiaodong pointed at three people, with Xuan being one of them.
Then, he gestured at fifteen boulders. They were separated into three sets of five, and they all had a rope around them which made it easy for anyone to simply slip on and train with them.
But that was not all as he walked up to Xuan and the two disciples, putting ten armbands on each.
The moment those armbands were on Xuan’s hands, he felt as if gravity had increased by several times, to the point where the ground below him cracked slightly.
Yet he remained unfazed as he walked toward the boulders and tied the rope around his waist tightly.
So now, with five boulders tied to him, he walked back to the other monks and nonchalantly glanced up at the mountain.
This makes it exactly six weeks since I got here, and four weeks since I began my endurance training, Xuan thought with a slight smile.
He felt much stronger, which meant that this training, while not exactly fun, was extremely productive.
I’ve really grown a lot in this past month.
And when he checked his status screen, his smile only grew further.

<★ Xiao Yuelan - Third Level Spirit Master>
Xuan smiled at the last part in particular. It seemed like Yuelan broke through into the Spirit Master realm, and she was now soaring. He could only imagine what she would look like, and what her strength would be like when they met.
But until then...
"The first one to do a single full climb gets to go back to the Grand Jade Temple and relax. Now then, I’m throwing a pebble now, get your asses ready," Feng Xiaodong announced and then tossed a pebble high into the sky.
Xuan took a deep breath, and the moment the pebble landed, he kicked off the ground. His figure was not a blur, but for the first time ever, he wasn’t lagging behind, even with these heavy objects weighing him down.
He was the third person to reach the base, and then the fourth person to reach beyond the clouds. The boulders were wildly smashing against the mountain, sending debris down toward the other disciples.
But Xuan just passed it off as natural selection and kept going.
Eventually, he reached the top of the mountain, and to everyone’s surprise, he was the second to do so.
"S-Stop him!" a monk yelled, trying to sabotage Xuan. It was clear he knew what was coming.
But he wasn’t the only one as two more monks came from either side of him.
With nimble movements, Xuan pulled on the five boulders tied to his waist and managed to knock two of the monks off.
As for the last one, Xuan dug his arm into the mountainside, and then proceeded to launch himself toward the monk.
The monk was shocked as he launched an attack that held the power of a Fifth Level Spirit Warrior.
His punch made contact with Xuan’s jaw, and in the next instant, a loud crack resounded.
CRACK!
Despite the hit, the monk’s face soon paled as he glanced down at his arm and realized that his wrist was broken. Panic immediately set in.
"AAAAAH—"
Xuan interrupted the disciple’s screams with a punch to the jaw that, despite him not having enough momentum, managed to knock the disciple out cleanly as his head was embedded into the mountainside.
Grinning, Xuan grabbed his five boulders and spun them around as he walked closer to the edge of the mountain peak.
Then, without a single bit of hesitation, he let go, using the momentum of the weight bands, as well as the boulders, to propel himself downwards.
Within a second, he shot past the monks he had knocked down, and soon after, he was below the clouds.
His sights were set on one person in particular, Feng Xiaodong, who after not acknowledging his presence for the entire month, couldn’t help but go on guard as Xuan headed toward him like a comet.
Got you now, bastard, Xuan thought, chuckling to himself in satisfaction.
And finally, he hit Feng Xiaodong head on with the five boulders, and all the momentum he had built up.
But as expected, the boulders shattered on impact, followed by Feng Xiaodong delivering a powerful kick to Xuan’s diaphragm through the dust and rubble, sending him backwards.
A massive shockwave resounded as even the clouds above them parted slightly from impact.
Xuan was slightly dazed and out of breath from the counter. However, after taking a few deep breaths, he snapped out of it and he was met with Feng Xiaodong’s proud expression.
"You did surprisingly well." He stepped closer. "Honestly, I thought you would continue being the weakest one here, but here you are, hurtling at several times the speed of sound and not even suffering a bruise from my half serious attack."
Xuan chuckled, removing the rope from his waist, and then tossing the weight bands right below Feng Xiaodong’s feet.
"What can I say? Your training was pretty good," Xuan praised. "I’m sure I couldn’t have achieved such results without you being an absolute... Thanks for the help."
"That’s what instructors do." Feng Xiaodong smirked. "Now I would tell you to climb again because you attacked me, but today’s a special day."
"What? Is it because I actually managed to finish first?" Xuan asked with a raised brow. "I’m flattered, but—"
"The world doesn’t revolve around you, kid." Feng Xiaodong clicked his tongue and glanced at the Grand Jade Temple in the distance.
"You see... A few talented women will arrive in a few hours, including a single genius jade beauty your age." He winked, then continued. "Not sure what we’ll be doing yet. The women said they had something prepared, so we have no choice but to wait."
"Aha... I see..." Xuan nodded, tilting his head. "What’s a jade beauty?"
"Hm? Are you stupid, kid?" Feng Xiaodong sighed. "God damn it... All those falls onto your head..."
He shook his head, wiping off an imaginary tear.
"A jade beauty is just a very beautiful woman, and there’ll be one coming here. It’s like winning the lottery!" Feng Xiaodong laughed heartily. "But what I’m saying, kid, is just don’t act like an idiot. We don’t want to embarrass ourselves in front of them."
That sounds pretty fun. Being around sweaty men for nearly two months really isn’t it. Xuan smiled and nodded at Feng Xiaodong.
"I guess I’ll go get ready for their arrival then."
