I Was Not Meant To Exist

In the middle of the human capital which is now being covered by falling snow, a massive black dome covers the palace, attracting the attention of all the citizens of the capital, the falling snow cannot reach the palace that is trapped by the black dome.

Inside the massive black dome, the human palace is still bright even though the sound of explosions echoes throughout its area.

The sound of footsteps is heard accompanied by screams from one of the remote corridors in the palace, a woman in a maid uniform runs from what is chasing her, the sound of massive stomps continues to follow her, behind her that is almost reaching her a giant black wolf can be seen, but it is not an ordinary wolf, because the wolf has a crocodile head and a stork head as its additions.

From the chimera comes a burnt smell that makes the female maid’s heart beat faster, sweat flows throughout her body, her legs that continue to race for her life begin to feel numb.

Her scream echoes in the corridor, when the stork head of the chimera tries to peck her.

Her vision begins to blur, slowly her mentality is eroded and she tries to accept herself who will die that day, when her body becomes more relaxed because she wants to accept her fate, her legs trip over each other.

The maid falls forward, she quickly turns her body, a reflection can be seen in both of the maid’s eyes, the three heads of the chimera open their mouths at the same time.

But, at the same time a gust of wind hits the maid, the gust of wind that should only sway her hair now carries her body away from the bite of the three heads of the chimera.

A loud collision sound is heard when the three heads of the chimera only hit the floor where the maid had fallen.

The three heads of the chimera immediately look towards the female maid who is now farther away, the chimera wants to lunge again, but the wind pressure makes its body stick to the ground.

A man wearing a black mask flies above the chimera, his hand stretches forming five claws, he makes a slashing movement towards the chimera’s body, from the slash of his claws appear five wind blades that split the body of the chimera.

A groan of pain echoes in the corridor, the body of the chimera trembles, but not long after that, life leaves the six eyes of the chimera.

Slowly the black masked man floats towards the maid who is still sitting on the floor.

Tears gather in the maid’s eyes, her voice sounds hoarse.

"Captain Black..."

Black immediately kneels and holds the maid’s ankle, the maid’s leg twitches when Black touches it, her face grimaces slightly.

Black looks at the maid, his voice is slightly muffled by his mask.

"You are too far from the banquet hall...."

The maid only nods repeatedly, she almost cries.

Black immediately extends his hand and carries the maid, he channels mana to both soles of his feet, from there wind appears that makes them slightly float.

Black immediately floats through the corridors of the palace which are now empty, Black’s floating steps bring them to a wide area where at the end there is a massive double door with strange purple words written above it.

In front of the massive double door, an old man with a head butler outfit sits, he brings both of his palms together which makes the door behind him emit a glowing arrangement of strange purple words.

Around the old man, Julian, Arthur, and Eve guard him from the attacks of chimera.

Meanwhile at the outermost point of the massive double door, Clay is repelling dark side members who try to pass through it.

Black passes them all until he reaches the head butler.

The head butler slightly loosens his palms which makes the purple writing on the door partially disappear, the door opens revealing hundreds of maids who are waiting in the massive banquet hall.

Black puts the maid inside and immediately comes out, he slightly whispers to the head butler.

"I think everyone alive except the queen, white, the princess, and her four friends are already inside the banquet hall."

The head butler nods slightly, a sigh comes out of him.

"Maya has not returned yet from searching for the princess..."

Black nods, he slowly helps Julian, Arthur, and Eve who are having difficulty facing the chimera.

Meanwhile Clay who has finished with the dark side members now stands with his sword stuck in the ground, splashes of blood wet his short blonde hair, and a little of his face.

The hair on the back of his neck slightly stands when he feels a presence from behind the wall not far in front of him.

He shouts, but his shout is muffled when the massive wall collapses, the sound makes everyone shift their attention.

Behind the rubble, a chimera with an elephant body can be seen, its head resembles a bull with tiger legs.

On top of the chimera there is a figure in a black robe whose face is slightly covered.

The chimera is followed by dozens of dark side members and several chimera, slowly a strong burnt smell is smelled by their noses.

The black robed figure slowly descends from the elephant chimera, he stands at the very front among the others.

Clay clicks his tongue seeing their unbalanced numbers, while a gust of wind hits his back when Black appears near him.

Black whispers to Clay who licks his dry lips.

"We cannot connect with the queen or white. It seems they are facing the leader."

Clay nods and a rough sigh comes out of him.

"That makes it a little clearer....we will protect this point..."

Clay’s chin points towards the group of dark side and chimera in front of him.

"....they must want to do something by sending that many just for hundreds of maids."

Clay clicks his tongue, he slightly glances backwards where Julian, Arthur, Eve, and the head butler are.

"Ck where is Thomas...how nice he is not present at a time like this."

Clay begins to pull his sword that is stuck in the floor, he shouts.

"Julian! Arthur! Eve! Guard old man Ben! Don’t let these bastards touch him!"

Heavy breathing sounds from the three of them who stand not far from the head butler, they look at each other with nervous expressions.

The head butler chuckles seeing them, his voice sounds calm in the middle of the chaos.

"Do not be nervous...just focus on yourselves so you do not slip. I can still protect myself."

The words of the head butler make the three of them even more nervous.

Julian’s blue eyes reflect his father’s back who stands in front of dozens of enemies. But his mind keeps drifting elsewhere when he remembers the words from the headmaster.

Julian grits his teeth.

"Where are you...rina."

Julian’s blue eyes reflect Clay who points his sword towards the group of dark side and chimera.

He prepares to attack but the black robed man in front of him only smiles.

Slowly his shadow splits into dozens of shadows, from those shadows appear dozens of figures exactly the same as the black robed man.

Clay scratches his short blonde hair.

"Damn...those dark side have the same uniforms."

Black chuckles hearing Clay’s words.

"Who would have thought he is ray that bastard clone"

Slowly in front of them the number of enemies they must face becomes twice as many.

They all now walk slowly towards Black and Clay, each of their steps becomes faster, and after a few steps they run.

Black and Clay also charge instead of letting themselves be hit by hundreds of their enemies,

A loud collision sound is heard from them, but another collision sound is also heard as an accompaniment.

The collision sound comes from one of the palace gardens, where the flowers are frozen.

There, under the darkness of the black dome, the queen and white attack Thomas who is already controlled.

The queen directs her hand above Thomas’s head.

From there appears from nothing, transparent glass blades, those transparent glass blades stab downward towards Thomas.

Thomas moves backward, he distances himself from the queen and white.

The queen’s blue eyes look behind Thomas, from there appears from nothing a massive invisible glass wall.

Thomas’s back crashes into the glass that suddenly appears, the glass slightly trembles.

White who sees Thomas cornered, tries to charge him.

He takes out a dagger with a golden blade from his smart bracelet, the dagger emits glowing golden dust when touched by white, but the dagger disappears when his grip touches the dagger.

White’s heart beats fast when he is about to stab Thomas’s heart.

’Luckily I brought a dagger infused with holy energy this time...’

Thomas’s golden eyes focus on White’s right hand that grips the disappearing dagger.

A disturbing smell is sensed, his smile widens unnaturally.

"You think you can fight me with that, white?"

White’s brow twitches, his disappearing dagger is immediately caught by Thomas’s left hand, now Thomas’s hand turns black with long black nails accompanying it, that black hand drowns the golden dust coming out of White’s dagger.

White freezes when his dagger is caught, he directs his left fist infused with mana towards Thomas’s face, his punches are created repeatedly, but Thomas does not avoid them, his smile even becomes wider.

White grits his teeth seeing that, a voice is heard from behind him.

"Move aside white!!"

White who hears the queen’s shout immediately releases his dagger, he steps back slowly.

Thomas wants to chase him, but from the invisible glass wall behind his back, invisible glass thorns appear.

Those thorns pierce Thomas’s body until they penetrate through it, black blood comes out from there wetting the transparent glass thorns.

Thomas’s golden eyes tremble, a gush of blood comes out from his mouth, but the smile does not disappear from his face.

Black veins slowly appear from his neck that lead to his face.

Thomas’s body turns into a shadow, leaving White’s dagger that falls to the ground, that shadow crawls away from the glass wall.

The queen continues to direct her glass attacks but those attacks only stab the ground.

Slowly Thomas materializes his physical form again, his wounds have disappeared, but his black veins are still visible on his neck.

He brushes his black hair, his gaze is directed at the queen and white.

A disgusting voice comes out of Thomas’s mouth.

"You are indeed troublesome...cathryn"

The queen does not respond which makes Thomas chuckle, he rubs his neck which now shows black veins.

"I think we should equalize the numbers...."

Thomas’s shadow moves from its place, and slowly materializes standing beside him, that shadow is exactly like Thomas, but its form is only black with red eyes.

The queen’s blue eyes become colder seeing Thomas manifest his dark side.

She snaps her fingers in the air, a snapping sound is heard, after that snap, slowly appear surrounding them dozens of mirrors as big as an adult human body.

From the mirrors slowly figures step out, those figures resemble the queen but with glass bodies.

Once they come out, the mirrors shatter into small pieces.

Thomas sticks out his tongue, his golden eyes look around him who is now surrounded by the queen’s glass clones.

"You are too serious...cathryn..."

The queen does not care, she steps forward, her glass clones follow, they attack Thomas and the manifestation of his dark side together.

"You are too noisy, envy..."

A glass explosion is heard in the frozen flower garden, that explosion reaches the corridor not far from there, reaching the ears of Alex and Katarina who are now facing a gorilla-bodied pig-headed chimera.

A growling sound is heard from the chimera followed by a burnt smell that is smelled by Katarina and Alex.

Alex moves closer to Katarina, he whispers.

"This is my first time seeing it, but it is really disgusting...."

Katarina only nods slightly, she whispers back to Alex.

"We must find the others quickly..."

Alex nods agreeing.

As if knowing what Katarina and Alex want, the gorilla pig-headed chimera lunges at them while opening its mouth.

Alex exhales, he also moves closer towards the chimera.

The chimera’s right hand stretches towards Alex, a palm as big as Alex’s face heads towards him.

Alex’s body twitches, his first soul core activates, he lowers his body avoiding the chimera’s palm.

Only wind is hit by the chimera’s palm.

Alex quickly takes out a small paper with his symbol from his smart bracelet.

He sticks it to the chimera’s right thigh, the chimera responds, but not to the attached paper, instead to Alex.

Alex immediately rolls his body forward away from the chimera, he quickly turns his body.

There the chimera tries to lunge again, Alex points his index finger at the paper attached to the chimera’s right thigh.

Slowly the small paper shines and is followed by a blue flame explosion.

Boom!

A painful roar is heard from the chimera, its saliva drips and its body almost falls.

But the pain does not stop the chimera, it tries to lunge at Alex again with a slight limp, but Alex just stands there smiling and chuckling.

"Cut it, Katarina!"

From behind the chimera, a blue laser pierces the chimera’s neck.

Slash!

The chimera’s body trembles violently, Katarina swings it upward which makes the pig head of the chimera burn and split into two.

The burnt smell becomes stronger, the chimera falls to the ground and reveals Katarina standing behind it.

On the back of her right hand, a blue laser like a blade can be seen.

Alex’s mouth opens wide seeing what Katarina created, he is stunned looking at it.

Meanwhile Katarina just walks past the chimera’s corpse and approaches Alex.

She walks past Alex while Alex’s gaze continues to follow her.

Alex begins to move closer to her, he looks at Katarina from top to bottom.

"Crazy...can you also fight in close combat?"

Katarina flicks her dark red hair, she nods.

"I learned in the future..."

Alex nods understanding, meanwhile Katarina channels her mana to her right palm, from there appear small blue sparrows made of blue fire.

Those sparrows leave Alex and Katarina, they scatter in all directions of the palace.

Alex can only admire with sparkling eyes seeing the versatility of Katarina’s talent.

One of the sparrows flies through a corridor at the back of the palace.

The sparrow approaches three people who are running together, the bird flies above their heads.

The three people look at the blue fire sparrow.

One of them is a girl with short brown hair, her brown eyes widen when she sees the bird, she points at it.

"That is the princess’s bird!"

The other two are young men, one is two meters tall with brown hair, while the other has long black hair tied in a ponytail.

Both of them click their tongues.

"Everyone also knows that it belongs to the princess, Reva..."

"You are too noisy, what if something comes, Reva?"

Reva also clicks her tongue.

"Damn! Hurry and follow that bird! I can’t stand being with you all day, Aril, Ken."

The three of them slowly turn around and follow the sparrow.

Their footsteps following the sparrow bring them into the main building of the palace, they do not meet anyone while following the bird.

When they pass one of the reception rooms, suddenly their noses smell a thick bloody stench.

The three of them slowly slow down their steps, until finally they stop, the sparrow also stops.

The three of them turn to the right, there a row of white sofas can be seen, but blood stains become the pattern of the white sofas.

In the middle of the room, a staircase can be seen, the staircase turns and leads to a corridor on the second floor.

Their gazes are directed to the staircase, the white floor that should cover the stairs has now turned red, blood drips from the stairs and pools below, piles of maid corpses lie there.

Their bodies freeze stiff, only the wings of the sparrow that guides them move.

Their gazes slowly rise step by step, above the corpses lying on the stairs, a black robed figure sits.

His smile widens visible from behind his black hood when he senses the presence of Aril, Ken, and Reva.

His chuckling voice echoes.

"Finally there is fresh meat..."

The hairs on the back of Aril, Ken, and Reva stand, their eyes tremble seeing all of that.

The black robed figure stands, the blood that comes out from the corpses of the maids now moves towards his palm, that blood forms a blood scythe.

Ken and Reva slowly step back one step while Aril does not move at all.

Veins bulge on Aril’s forehead, he grits his teeth.

Both of his palms clench, while his breathing is like he is ready to hunt anything.

A voice is heard from Alex whose gaze is fixed on the robed figure.

"Blood scythe..."
