I Save The World In A Doomsday Text Game
Chapter, the End Dragon’s Destruction Armor (2)
After obtaining the answer to his heart’s content, Lin Xun began work on forging divine grade artifact equipment sets.
The highest priority for equipment forging was certainly the Little Dragonkin, who was now immortal grade, yet possessed the potential of a top-tier Eternal True God.
Lin Xun was now filthy rich, with an astronomical amount of Spirit Essence in his pocket, so he could spend freely.
With a grand wave of his hand, he clicked the set forging function in the Book of Craftsmen.

[The following set equipment has been generated…]
[End Dragon’s Destruction Armor (immortal grade set)!]
[End Dragon’s Gaze – Helmet Component (immortal grade equipment): …]
[End Dragon’s Guard – Battle Armor Component (immortal grade equipment): …]
[End Dragon’s Rending – Gauntlet Component (immortal grade equipment): …]
[End Dragon’s Perseverance – Belt Component (immortal grade equipment): …]
[End Dragon’s Trample – Greaves Component (immortal grade equipment): …]
[End Dragon’s Roar – Weapon Component (immortal grade weapon): …]
The set equipment generated by the Book of Craftsmen, including the blueprint materials and the skill descriptions of the equipment, took Lin Xun more than half a day to read through completely.
After reading it all, he had no choice but to sigh that exclusive sets were truly incredible!
The set’s six components not only provided a massive amount of defense, but also each corresponded to six different ancient dragon bloodlines, all granting huge enhancement bonuses to the respective bloodline skills.
After the set components suffered wear, they could even be repaired using Little Dragonkin’s Ancient Dragon Power.
Once Little Dragonkin used Ancient Dragon Oath to transform into dragon form, the set would become the complete form of the Destruction Armor, arming the dragon from head to tail without even leaving out the wings.
The belt would transform into dragon wing armor. Not only would it protect the dragon wings, it would also generate blades along the edges of the wings.
The greaves would not only protect the feet, but would also include the tail, generating savage bone spikes at the tail’s tip.
The most special of all was the weapon component called End Dragon’s Roar.
In Dragonkin form, it was an enormous dragon lance, while in ancient dragon form, the dragon lance would change into an iron dragon bite state.
Whether it was dragon breath or all sorts of bloodline skills, once enhanced through End Dragon’s Roar, they would all receive an enormous boost.
If the full set was assembled, the cooldown for Ancient Dragon Oath to switch between different ancient dragon forms would be greatly shortened, and it would also grant nearly a one-third increase to Little Dragonkin’s Ancient Dragon Power energy cap.
“As expected of a tailored set. If you gave this thing to anyone else, they couldn’t use it at all.”
The set blueprints provided by the Book of Craftsmen all required designated materials. Whether in his Inventory or in the channels of the Book of Trade, none of them were being sold.
These materials could only be purchased from the Book of Craftsmen at a premium.
Lin Xun threw the full blueprint back into the Book of Craftsmen, and the hellish game quickly gave a quoted price including the forging fee.
The quoted price from the hellish game was outrageously absurd. The cost of a single immortal grade piece of equipment alone exceeded one hundred million, more than enough to pay for a full mythic grade set with some left over.
If Lin Xun had not wiped out all the Disciples and gathered in all of the Disciples’ pasture districts, there was no way he could have afforded the astronomical sum required to forge the set.
This time, in Chapter Seven of the World of Omniscience, not counting equipment gains, just the Spirit Essence dungeon gains alone exceeded ten million, but if he wanted to assemble a full immortal equipment set, he would probably have to keep farming the dungeon more than a dozen times.
And that was with hell-difficulty returns. If it were nightmare difficulty or ordinary difficulty, would he not need to grind it dozens of times?
The Spirit Essence he had harvested from reaping pasture districts was only enough to pay for one and a half immortal sets…
“These prices are really absurd!”
“But thinking about it carefully, it isn’t actually wrong. The reason the Disciples could gather full sets and even switch between several different sets is because what they forged were demigod sets.”
“What I’m forging now is an immortal grade set. The tier has gone up, so a crazier price is still understandable.”
The Spirit Essence had been freeloaded, so Lin Xun felt no pain spending it freely.
He decisively bought all kinds of forging materials and pressed the manufacture option in the Book of Craftsmen.
[Equipment being forged…]
[Equipment forging successful!]
[You obtained End Dragon’s Destruction Armor (immortal grade set)!]
As long as the Spirit Essence was sufficient, the Book of Craftsmen forged it in a flash.
With great satisfaction, Lin Xun moved the newly forged set into Little Dragonkin’s equipment slots.
The prompts that kept appearing, [You equipped End Dragon’s XX. You have become stronger!] gave him an extraordinary sense of satisfaction.
Lin Xun also conveniently manifested the Little Dragonkin’s Shell to take a look at what the set actually looked like…
In Dragonkin form, the set covered the Little Dragonkin from head to toe, concealing him completely. The dark purple dragon knight armor wrapped his entire body in a streamlined form, with sharp blades protruding from his spine and joints.
Even if the Little Dragonkin did not swing the savage dragon lance in his hand, simply charging into a mob of enemies in that armor alone would probably cause considerable damage.
The most important point was that this Destruction Armor was sufficiently handsome.
Unfortunately, for the time being, Lin Xun could not find a suitable place for the Little Dragonkin to display the ancient dragon form and see what the complete form of End Dragon’s Destruction Armor looked like.
The villa estate was large, but the Little Dragonkin’s size after transforming into ancient dragon form was not small either, like some giant beast out of myth and legend. If an ordinary passerby saw it, they would probably think that some monster like Godzilla or Ghidorah had crossed over…
He did not waste the remaining Spirit Essence either. Not only did he use the Flawless Forging Crystal Chunk to strengthen Little Dragonkin’s weapon, he also forged an immortal grade staff for the Executor.
Once he had spent Spirit Essence down to nearly nothing, all of the preparatory work before the chapter officially came to an end.
At this point, Lin Xun had already become an immortal god-level existence.
According to the rules of New World, he could now contact the Master, step down from the position of First Disciple, and ascend to become a Saint.
But Lin Xun’s own rate of advancement was simply too fast.
Under normal circumstances, without the powerful cheat that was the Book of Illusory Knowledge, gathering the Divine items needed to ascend from demigod to immortality would take at least half a year to a full year, and that was still under ideal conditions.
Because of the hellish game’s skimming, immortal grade Divinity could only drop by killing eternal grade gods.
On the surface, it looked like obtaining immortal grade Divinity and ascending to godhood should be utterly impossible for an ordinary Apostle.
But do not forget that farming monsters was the slowest and least efficient way to acquire Spirit Essence.
Only when first encountering monsters of a new realm would the drop rate for Divinity be slightly higher.
The normal way Apostles obtained Divinity was when the hellish game fixed wages and paid them out.
For example, by encountering the Blood Sun Divine Image or the Firefly Divine Image, or by completing some randomly generated hidden mission.
Lin Xun’s becoming a god so quickly was something that could not explain the source of multiple high grade Divinities at all.
He and his superior Li Long both knew each other thoroughly. If he did not want to speak, Li Long would not ask further.
But on the Master’s side…
If the Master discovered that he had a way to rapidly acquire high grade Divinity, then the most likely thing the Master would do would be to tear apart all pretense and force the method out of him no matter the cost.
As the administrator of the Book of Illusory Knowledge, the Servant of Knowledge could not leave the Temple of Knowledge, just as the true administrator could not leave the library.
And Lin Xun could not directly define the Book of Illusory Knowledge into reality either.
If he tore things apart with the Master now, then he would need to face alone the fury of an Eternal True God. Thinking about it that way, it truly was not a wise move.
Lin Xun simply continued his closed-door cultivation.
“If I can’t beat you now, can’t I at least hide from you?”
“When my divine art is fully mastered, the first ones I’ll clean up when I come out will be you people of New World!”
