The Servant of Knowledge nodded. “Disorder has no specific source, or rather, the source of Disorder comes from each god themselves.”

“The law of entropy increase can explain all of this very well. In an isolated system, when the individual system has no energy exchange with the outside world, that individual system will spontaneously change in the direction of increasing disorder, causing the entropy of the entire system to rise and become an existence of disorder and chaos. “And some gods, such as the true Lord, such a great existence, can still persist under Disorder’s erosion even after becoming one of the strongest main gods among countless worlds.”

“If all the evil gods wandering the stars are viewed as one small isolated system after another, then the vast void universe is one great isolated system.”

“Transcendence is a realm imagined by the gods, meant to break free from the restraints of this isolated system called the void universe, and produce energy exchange with the true outside, allowing Disorder to return to order. Yet in reality, not a single god can achieve Transcendence.”

“Perhaps there simply does not exist in this world any thing that can truly achieve eternal life and Transcendence. Perhaps the laws of the void universe are fated not to allow such a thing to be born, which is why a terrifying existence like Disorder came into being to filter out all gods.”

After learning all this, Lin Xun only felt that the truth was so cruel and cold.

Even if an immortal pseudo god’s flesh decayed, it could continue to survive by means of soul Possession. Yet the soul would still decay and perish through repeated body replacements and the washing of the river of time.

And by advancing into Eternal True God, one could achieve the great level where even the soul endured eternally. But although there was no longer any need to worry about soul decay, there appeared instead the terrifying Great Filter called Disorder.

Even if they became powerful main gods, even if they devoured all the gods of their own world and delayed Disorder to the very last stage, they could still only flee into the stars to find more main gods to devour…

“Only in this way can He seemingly coexist with Disorder and reduce the speed of Disorder’s erosion to the slowest possible degree.”

“During this period, He needs to continuously absorb powerful Divinity to strengthen His tolerance toward Disorder. Otherwise, Disorder will ultimately still swallow Him completely… mm, the existence behind you needs to do the same.”

“Now, the true Lord has become the Book Containing Illusion, and I am the temporary keeper of this book that has no self-awareness.”

“Becoming the Book Containing Illusion only allows one to seemingly coexist with Disorder, and cannot truly achieve coexistence with Disorder. Therefore, the true Lord needs to cooperate with you, who possesses Chaos Authority, so that you may reach that unprecedented realm of Transcendence.”

“Only then, when you who have achieved Transcendence, will you be able to free the true Lord from Disorder and allow the true Lord to become what He once was again.”

Lin Xun’s heart trembled.

So by that logic, The Book of Salvation was also something transformed from some incomparably powerful god?

This god was even stronger than Omniscient True Knowledge, yet had now been reduced to a book without self-awareness, needing the Librarian as a keeper to maintain it daily, continuously adding fuel called Divinity so that the book could continue operating.

The book would continue operating until some Apostle, through countless acts of Salvation, obtained the power of Transcendence?

But in reality, the strongest Apostles had only reached the realm of Eternal True God. They had not even attained the supreme realm of a main god, so how could they dare to think of Transcendence?

The Servant of Knowledge looked at this child favored by the true Lord, who was frowning and contemplating deeply. After a pause, he continued, “I once fought shoulder to shoulder with you. We have no reason to become enemies. We can even use that as a good foundation to begin cooperation.”

“To seek cooperation, one must show sincerity. This is a principle common to all worlds, even if we were once intimate comrades.”

“The bond that maintains good cooperation is absolutely not friendship, because friendship changes as time passes, but interests do not.”

“I can show enough sincerity, and I can bring you enough benefits. That is the foundation on which we can cooperate well!”

Seeing that Lin Xun had grown interested and did not obviously reject cooperation, the Servant of Knowledge continued, “Although you possess Flesh Authority and Chaos Authority, and also have the Shells and flesh of immortal gods and even Eternal True Gods, your soul power is too weak.”

“You have never been able to obtain enough Divinity to strengthen your unique authority and authority powers. This is undoubtedly a tremendous waste.”
