"Are you referring to something specific?" Tobirama continued to stare intently at Kaito.

"Nothing in particular. What’s already happened is in the past. Talking about it now doesn’t change anything," Kaito responded calmly. "Anyway, some have already paid the price."

"Did you... seek revenge on Konoha?" Hiruzen Sarutobi suddenly perked up, looking at Kaito with some tension.

"Revenge? What exactly happened?" Hashirama Senju asked, turning to Hiruzen.

"First Hokage-sama," Hiruzen began with some difficulty, "the Uchiha clan attempted a coup and were ultimately exterminated."

"What? Why did such a thing happen?" Hashirama’s face was filled with shock.

"The Uchiha clan rebelled first, so what talk is there of revenge!" Tobirama’s tone remained harsh.

"Indeed, the Uchiha clan and your Hokage faction have never truly been in harmony," Kaito said calmly. "In the end, it’s simply a case of the victor taking all."

"However, even if I were to destroy Konoha completely for revenge, it would be the same story."

Ignoring the increasingly grave expressions of the four, he continued, "Don’t worry, I merely killed Danzo Shimura. That can be considered quite merciful."

"Oh, and Koharu Utatane and Homura Mitokado," he added with a smile. "They should only be able to spend the rest of their lives bedridden."

"What? Danzo? Why did you do that? It was I who gave the order to Itachi," Hiruzen exclaimed in surprise.

"How laughable. Third Hokage, you can’t be unaware of what your old friend Danzo has done, can you?" Kaito’s face showed a mocking expression. "After all, you’ve indulged him too many times."

Hiruzen frowned deeply. "Although Danzo made some mistakes, he has also made significant contributions to Konoha."

"Hahahaha," Kaito laughed out loud. "Significant contributions to Konoha? Maybe. But what does that have to do with me?"

"That old scoundrel took Shisui’s Mangekyo Sharingan without cause, leading to Shisui’s death. After the Uchiha clan’s extermination, he even took the eyes from the bodies of my clan members and implanted them in himself."

"Just for that, he deserved to die."

Hiruzen frowned deeply. "Is what you’re saying true? Was Shisui killed by Danzo? Then why did you target Koharu and Homura?"

"Shisui was one of your people, wasn’t he? I have no reason to lie," Kaito said coldly. "As for those two advisors, all of you were taught by the Second Hokage and were filled with animosity towards the Uchiha clan. Their responsibility in leading the Uchiha to rebellion is clear."

Tobirama said sternly, "The Uchiha are inherently evil. I had to take precautions."

At this moment, a voice came from the distant forest.

"Tobirama, you talk nonsense!"

Tobirama’s eyes widened in surprise, and he turned his head sharply.

Two ninjas, a man and a woman, suddenly appeared in the forest.

The young man in front, with a dark expression, angrily walked out of the forest with a ninja sword in hand, pointing it at Tobirama.

"Tobirama! How dare you slander the Uchiha clan!"

"You... are you Izuna?" Hashirama asked, pointing a trembling finger at the man, his face turning pale. "Are you a human or a ghost?"

Tobirama looked helplessly at his unreliable elder brother. "Brother! You are also dead!"

"Eh?" Hashirama suddenly realized, then sheepishly scratched his face. "Oh, right."

He waved at Izuna with a warm smile. "Hello there, long time no see, Izuna. Is Madara around?"

"Who are you! What business do you have with my brother!!" Izuna glared angrily at Hashirama.

"Huh? Don’t you recognize me? I’m Madara’s good friend, Hashirama Senju!" Hashirama explained. "We’ve met before."

This only made Izuna angrier, and he roared, "I don’t know you! My brother has no such friend!"

"That’s too harsh..."

Hashirama, looking as though he’d taken a major blow, squatted on the ground dejectedly, with mushrooms growing out of him.

"Brother! What kind of behavior is this!" Tobirama glared at him in exasperation.

"Is the First Hokage really like this?" Minato asked, somewhat dumbfounded.

"The First Hokage is always this approachable," Hiruzen explained.

"Is that so? Haha..." Minato laughed awkwardly.

By this time, Izuna and the woman behind him had walked up to Kaito.

"Kaito, what are you doing? Why are these two Senju here?"

"Senior Izuna, Miss Chiri, you’re here. Have those Akatsuki members been dealt with?" Kaito asked.

"Hmph, now that we know their intel, how could we not deal with them?" Izuna rolled his eyes at him. "You still haven’t explained what’s going on here."

"Oh, this," Kaito explained, "I released the souls devoured by the Reaper, and it turns out all four former Hokage of Konoha were among them, so I couldn’t resist witnessing such a spectacle."

"Hahahaha..."

Izuna laughed arrogantly, taunting the Senju brothers. "All four former Hokage of Konoha were inside the Reaper’s stomach. How pathetic is that!!"

"Sigh, that was my fault," Hiruzen sighed, taking responsibility. "My useless disciple Orochimaru used the Edo Tensei jutsu to summon the First and Second Hokage. I had no choice but to use the Reaper Death Seal to end the fight."

"Monkey, don’t blame yourself."

Tobirama comforted him and then turned to the three Uchiha. "Uchiha Izuna, what is going on?"

Izuna glanced at him haughtily. "None of your business!"

By this time, the other souls from the Reaper’s stomach had all returned to the Pure Land.

Kaito closed the portal to the Pure Land, glanced at Izuna, who was arguing with his old enemy, and then took the opportunity to focus all his power on dealing with the Reaper.

"Kaito-kun, can you tell me what’s going on with the Reaper?" Minato silently appeared beside Kaito, looking curiously at the now weak-looking Reaper.

"Sure," Kaito said calmly. "The Reaper is a creature born from the Box of Ultimate Bliss. I am in the process of sealing it back inside."

"Is that so?" Minato asked, puzzled. "But it doesn’t seem to be causing any harm, does it?"

Kaito smiled. "Are you worried Konoha might lose a valuable asset?"

"No," Minato shook his head. "It’s best not to use such a mutually destructive technique."

"I met your son recently," Kaito suddenly said.

Minato’s face immediately softened into a gentle smile. "Really? You met Naruto? Could you tell me about him?"

Kaito nodded. "Naruto is training with Jiraiya."

"With Jiraiya-sensei?" Minato’s expression grew a bit peculiar. "I just hope Naruto only learns ninjutsu from him, nothing else..."

Kaito continued, "You must know Sasuke, right? Fugaku’s younger son. He and Naruto used to be teammates. On Sasuke’s behalf, I gave Naruto the Uzumaki clan’s texts that I obtained from Danzo."

Minato was taken aback, then bowed slightly. "Thank you, Kaito-kun, on behalf of Naruto."

"No need to be so formal, Minato," Kaito replied with a gentle smile. "Actually, I want to make a deal with you."
