Chapter 573: Star Realm Is Ridiculous

Garion stared at the arena screens, barely able to follow what was happening anymore. The fight was just too fast and brutal.

One second, Draovn stood dozens of kilometers away from Verin.

The next second, space itself exploded apart, and he appeared right in front of her.

Garion’s eyes widened. "The hell...? Just how are they fighting like this? I seriously can’t keep up."

Beside him, Rovak burst out laughing. "Hahaha! Can’t keep up anymore, huh?"

Garion pointed at the screen without looking away. "Of course not! They literally disappear. I can’t see anything!"

Slifera crossed his arms with a smug grin. "That’s because Star Realm movement is already beyond us."

Garion frowned slightly but kept watching the battle. "Then how are we even supposed to enjoy the fight if we don’t know what’s going on?"

Rovak laughed again and pointed toward several floating screens around the arena. "See those? Some of the screens slow down important scenes."

Slifera pointed at another one nearby. "And that screen shows the skills they just used."

Garion blinked in surprise. "Wait, skills are shown too? Aren’t those supposed to be secret?"

Elisa let out a tired sigh as she walked over. "Of course they’re secret, but the ones being shown are usually the skills they use the most."

She rolled her eyes. "So even if they wanted to hide them, people would figure them out eventually anyway."

Garion’s mouth slowly opened. "I see... so it’s not that they aren’t secret. They’re just already exposed."

Elisa and the others nodded.

Rovak threw an arm around Garion’s shoulder. "Alright, now that you get it, let’s enjoy the show."

He jabbed a thumb against his chest proudly. "And unlike these two dumbasses, I know most of the skills they’re using."

Slifera’s eye twitched immediately. "Excuse me? What exactly are you trying to say, huh, Rovak?"

Elisa sighed again. "You really can’t survive five minutes without provoking somebody, can you?"

Rovak only laughed harder, completely shameless. "Am I wrong though?" 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺

Slifera waved him off in annoyance. "Fine. I’ll let it slide this time because of Garion."

Then he looked directly at Garion. "Just explain things properly for him. Don’t hold back."

Rovak grinned. "Of course not, Slifera."

He turned back toward Garion and pointed at the screen again. "Now let me tell you how the fight’s actually going."

Garion kept his eyes fixed on the battle as another explosion shook the arena.

"Go on then," he said with a grin. "Surprise me."

Rovak grinned and pointed directly at Dravon, who was currently spinning his massive spear while endless crimson flames exploded around him.

"First thing you need to know," Rovak said, "is that Dravon fights like a complete maniac. And the reason he’s dangerous isn’t just raw power... it’s the pressure he creates."

On the screen, Dravon suddenly thrust his spear forward.

BOOOOM!

A gigantic crimson line instantly tore through space itself. Several smaller projection screens nearby immediately reacted and displayed the attack’s name.

[Crimson Void Spear Art: First Form – Void Flame Breaker]

Garion’s eyes widened the moment he saw it. "It’s really showing the skill names?"

Rovak smirked while watching the screen. "Told you already, didn’t I? And trust me, this attack’s way worse than it looks."

He pointed at the spear again.

"The void flames around it constantly destabilize space and energy defenses. Every strike becomes insanely destructive."

Slifera crossed her arms and joined in. "And even if you manage to block the spear itself, the flames make it a nightmare to defend against."

Garion slowly nodded. "I see... that’s brutal. And this is only the first form?"

Before Rovak or Slifera could answer, thousands of floating silver blades suddenly exploded outward across the battlefield.

SHIIIIING!

The blades moved like a massive storm, instantly surrounding Verin and forcing Dravon to be careful with every movement near her.

[Astral Blade Techniques: Astral Blade Orbit]

Elisa immediately leaned forward. "Alright, now that you two are done hyping up Dravon, let me explain Verin."

She brushed her hair back confidently. "After all, we’re both women. I understand her better."

Rovak and Slifera rolled their eyes, but neither of them argued.

Elisa grinned and pointed toward the screen. "That’s Verin’s technique, one of the core arts of the Astral Blade Pavilion."

She continued, "Basically, she can attack from almost any angle while protecting herself at the same time. Pretty amazing, right?"

Garion nodded while watching the countless blades rotate around Verin like orbiting stars.

Each blade seemed to move independently rather than through direct control, which made the technique even more terrifying.

He turned toward Elisa for a moment. "Yeah... it looks really hard to deal with. And painful."

Rovak burst out laughing. "It is. Trust me, fighting her is miserable."

He glanced back at the screen. "And honestly? Looks like neither of them plans on using their stronger skills yet."

Almost immediately after he said that, Dravon vanished.

A split second later, he appeared directly above Verin.

He swung his spear downward violently, void flames burning and twisting the space around her.

Garion quickly looked back at them. "Wait... was that teleportation? Another skill?"

Slifera shook his head. "Not exactly. Star Realm cultivators can move freely through space itself. They move so fast that weaker people can’t even perceive the transition anymore."

Garion blinked. "So he moved so fast it looked like teleportation?"

Rovak nodded with a grin. "Exactly. Pretty crazy, right? Star Realm cultivators are on a completely different level from the rest of us."

Garion nodded, but before he could say anything, Verin was already ready with a counterattack.

Before Dravon could drive his spear down toward Verin, a massive silver blade formation suddenly appeared in the air and shot straight at him.

Several screens updated again as the new skill appeared.

[Astral Blade Techniques: Astral Flash Severance]

Dravon reacted instantly.

Gripping his spear tightly, he swung it up to block the incoming attack, but it was too late, as the strike carried far more power than he expected.

BOOOOOOM!

The blazing flames surrounding his spear were instantly shredded apart by Verin’s attack.

Elisa grinned as she watched Verin’s next move unfold. "Now it’s getting way more exciting, isn’t it, Garion? She’s even using a skill that’s usually reserved for finishing fights."

Garion stared at the battlefield without blinking. "Yeah... it is. I’m honestly too shocked right now to even know what to say."

The group chuckled for a moment, briefly forgetting that even though Garion possessed a Silver Cosmic ID, he was still, at the end of the day, just a newbie in the Cosmic Universe.
