Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method
Chapter 568: Cosmic Civilization Loves Talent
Paren paused slightly before grinning faintly. "Yeah... something like a VIP version."
Garion immediately crossed his arms proudly. "Knew it."
Atlas snorted beside him.
[Your confidence level is honestly ridiculous.]
Garion ignored him immediately.
Paren waved his hand lightly, causing several holographic screens to appear between them. "Let me explain properly first."
Garion nodded slightly.
Paren pointed toward the first glowing screen. "In cosmic civilization, there are different tiers of Cosmic IDs."
Several card-shaped projections immediately appeared in the air. "The most common type is the Common Grade ID."
A white-colored card rotated slowly in front of them. "White ID."
Paren continued calmly. "Most ordinary cultivators receive this after registration."
Garion looked carefully at the floating card. "Basically normal citizen status?"
Paren nodded. "Correct."
Then another card appeared.
This one was bronze-colored with more complex patterns. "Bronze ID."
Paren crossed his arms lightly. "This is usually given to talented individuals with decent evaluations or organizational recommendations."
Garion nodded slowly. "So above average."
"Exactly."
Then the next projection appeared.
A silver card covered in glowing patterns slowly floated upward. "Silver ID."
Paren’s tone became slightly more serious now. "Elites. Usually geniuses, important faction members, or cultivators with significant future potential."
Garion listened carefully while Atlas floated invisibly nearby.
Then finally... A golden card appeared.
The entire room instantly became slightly brighter from its glow.
"Gold ID."
Paren looked directly at Garion now. "This level is generally reserved for people with extremely high potential."
He pointed toward the card. "Strong cosmic clans, factions, academies, and organizations pay close attention to individuals with Gold IDs."
Garion raised an eyebrow. "So basically celebrity status."
Paren looked amused. "That is... one way to describe it."
Garion rubbed his chin slightly.
Then he looked back at Paren directly. "So which one do I get?"
Paren smiled faintly. "Actually..."
He tapped one of the floating screens lightly. "Based on your scans, cultivation realm, age, race, and threat evaluation..."
Another holographic panel appeared beside Garion’s profile.
Paren calmly continued. "You qualify for Gold ID standards."
Garion blinked once. "...Seriously?"
[Of course you do.]
Atlas sounded completely unsurprised.
[Thirty-year-old Peak Awakening Realm A1 human?]
[You’re basically a walking cosmic headline.]
Garion ignored him while still staring at Paren.
Then Paren continued. "However..."
His expression became slightly more thoughtful. "You are currently a wanderer without any clear background."
Garion narrowed his eyes slightly. "What does that mean?"
Paren answered calmly. "No clan, organization, territory affiliation, and so on."
He shrugged lightly. "In cosmic civilization, background matters."
Garion nodded slowly. "That makes sense."
Paren smiled slightly. "So officially, I can currently issue you a Silver ID immediately because if I give you a gold one, it will create some political trouble."
Garion’s mouth twitched slightly. "...Cosmic politics already sounds annoying."
Paren laughed softly. "It is."
Then Garion crossed his arms again. "So what do I need to do?"
Paren raised an eyebrow slightly. "Hm?"
Garion looked directly at him. "There’s no such thing as free benefits."
Paren’s smile widened slightly. "Good."
He nodded approvingly. "At least you understand that quickly."
Atlas laughed softly beside Garion.
[See? Earth experience.]
Garion ignored him immediately.
Paren walked slowly toward one of the giant glowing windows overlooking the endless Cosmic Terminal below.
Then he spoke calmly. "It’s actually very simple."
Garion narrowed his eyes slightly.
Paren turned back toward him. "I want you to stay within our Cosmic Territory."
The room became slightly quieter after that.
Garion looked at him carefully. "Just that?"
Paren nodded. "For now."
Garion frowned slightly. "You make that sound suspicious."
Paren laughed softly. "It’s not as dramatic as you think."
He crossed his arms calmly. "High-potential cultivators are resources."
Paren pointed toward Garion directly. "And right now, you are an extremely valuable wandering genius with no faction."
Garion slowly started understanding. "So you want me connected to your territory before someone else grabs me."
Paren smiled. "Exactly."
Atlas suddenly snorted invisibly.
[At least he’s honest.]
Garion honestly agreed with that part too.
Paren walked back toward him again. "You are free to travel or join organizations later if you wish."
His eyes narrowed slightly. "But if you register under our territory first, your early growth and future contributions become associated with us."
Garion rubbed his chin slowly. "So basically... you’re investing in me."
Paren smiled faintly. "That is the simplest explanation."
Garion stayed silent for a few moments while thinking about Paren’s offer.
Honestly, it sounded way better than what he expected.
At first, he thought cosmic civilization would immediately try forcing him into some giant faction or military organization the moment his A1 evaluation appeared.
But this? This sounded more like an investment deal.
Paren calmly waited without rushing him.
Meanwhile Atlas floated nearby while casually watching everything unfold.
[Honestly, this is already a very good starting condition for you.]
Garion slightly nodded. Yeah. I know.
Then Garion finally looked back at Paren. "Good."
Paren raised an eyebrow slightly.
Garion shrugged casually. "Then let’s do it."
Paren smiled faintly. "That was faster than I expected."
Garion snorted softly. "You’re basically offering me legal identity papers, protection, and benefits in exchange for staying in your territory."
He pointed at himself. "I’d have to be stupid to reject that immediately."
Atlas laughed beside him.
[Finally, you’re using your brain properly.]
Garion ignored him instantly.
Paren nodded calmly. "Fair enough."
He tapped one of the floating screens beside him.
Instantly, several glowing holographic contracts and information windows appeared around them.
"Then your temporary territory affiliation will be registered under the Astral Cosmic Territory."
Garion blinked slightly. "Astral Cosmic Territory..."
Paren nodded. "One of the larger independent territories under Cosmic Alliance supervision."
Garion slowly nodded while memorizing the name. Then another thought suddenly came into his head. "Actually..."
Paren looked toward him curiously.
Garion scratched the back of his neck lightly. "There’s something else I wanted to ask."
"Hm?"
Garion looked slightly awkward for the first time since arriving here. "Can you help me get a place too?"
Paren blinked once. "A place?"
Garion nodded. "Yeah."
He crossed his arms while thinking. "Before all this cosmic insanity happened, I actually owned a training place."
Paren looked interested now. "A training place?"
Garion nodded proudly. "A gym."
Atlas immediately burst out laughing.
[You really plan to restart God Gym immediately?!]
Of course.
Garion continued naturally. "I still plan to continue that kind of business here."
Paren stared at him silently for a moment.
Then suddenly laughed softly. "You’re surprisingly grounded for someone with your talent."
Garion shrugged casually. "What can I say? I’m used to teaching people."
Paren rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "A training business..."
He glanced at Garion again from head to toe.
Honestly, with Garion’s physique and absurd threat evaluation, he definitely looked more than qualified to run one.
