Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method
Chapter 566: Humans Are The Weirdest Race
Garion then thought of something else. "What about humans then?"
The group looked at him curiously.
Garion crossed his arms. "What are humans usually known for in cosmic civilization?"
The three immediately exchanged looks.
Then Slifera suddenly laughed. "That question is actually hard to answer." 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮
Garion blinked. "Huh?"
Rovak nodded immediately. "Humans are weird."
Garion frowned slightly. "That sounds racist."
"No, seriously." Rovak pointed around the hall dramatically. "Humans are probably the most diverse race in the universe."
Garion looked surprised. "The most diverse?"
Elisa nodded calmly. "One human civilization can be completely different from another."
Slifera continued immediately. "Some humans focus entirely on body cultivation, others on technology, soul techniques, weapons maniacs, or other strange rituals."
Garion blinked slowly. "...The hell?"
Rovak laughed loudly. "That’s exactly the normal reaction people have toward humans."
Elisa crossed her arms lightly. "Human adaptability is considered one of their most dangerous traits."
Garion listened carefully now.
Slifera pointed toward the countless crowds moving around them. "Most races naturally lean toward certain specialties. But humans?"
He shrugged. "They can become almost anything."
Garion slowly nodded. "I see..."
Elisa looked toward Garion, adding. "Humans are also known for having extremely unpredictable geniuses."
Garion raised an eyebrow. "Good unpredictable or bad unpredictable?"
Rovak answered immediately. "Yes."
Garion snorted loudly. "Damn."
Then suddenly, a massive mechanical voice echoed throughout the registration hall.
[Next group. Step forward.]
The line ahead of them moved again.
Rovak stretched his arms excitedly. "Looks like it’s finally our turn soon."
Garion slowly looked toward the enormous glowing registration gates ahead.
And honestly... He was starting to get curious about what this universe would label him as.
As if reading his thoughts, Slifera suddenly pointed toward one of the floating holographic boards nearby.
"By the way, since you’re new, you should properly understand the threat rankings first."
Garion glanced toward him curiously.
Rovak crossed his arms while speaking casually. "The rankings for Awakening Realm go from A5 to A1."
"A5 is the lowest. Usually normal newly awakened cultivators."
Slifera continued immediately. "A4 means above average talent. A3 are elites. A2 are geniuses or abnormal combatants."
Then Elisa calmly added the final part. "And A1..."
Her silver eyes narrowed slightly. "...are monsters."
Garion blinked.
Rovak laughed softly. "People whose combat ability, aura, growth potential, or abilities completely exceed what their current realm should allow."
Slifera pointed around the giant hall. "Most people here will never even see a real A1 in their lifetime."
Elisa nodded lightly. "Those people usually become famous very quickly... or dangerous very quickly."
Garion slowly looked back toward the registration platform ahead while Atlas laughed quietly beside him.
[Well... this should be interesting.]
---
The massive registration hall continued buzzing with noise as countless cultivators moved through the glowing gates ahead.
Garion and the others finally reached the front section of the line after waiting for a while.
The closer they got, the more Garion noticed something strange.
People nearby occasionally glanced toward Rovak, Slifera, and Elisa with expressions of surprise or recognition.
Some whispered quietly to each other. Others looked impressed.
Garion blinked slightly. "...Huh."
Rovak looked over. "What?"
Garion pointed around casually. "Why do people keep staring at you guys?"
Slifera immediately grinned smugly. "Because we’re famous."
Garion stared blankly. "...Excuse me?"
Rovak burst out laughing loudly. "Hahaha!"
Elisa sighed softly while rubbing her forehead slightly. "Please don’t encourage him."
Slifera crossed his arms proudly. "Too late."
Garion narrowed his eyes suspiciously. "You guys are actually famous?"
Rovak smirked. "Well... kinda."
Before Garion could ask more, one of the glowing registration platforms ahead suddenly activated.
A mechanical voice echoed throughout the nearby area.
[Next registrants.]
Rovak stretched lazily. "Looks like our turn."
The group walked toward several floating metallic platforms connected to giant crystal pillars.
Garion immediately noticed countless glowing symbols moving across the pillars.
The moment Rovak stepped onto one of the platforms... BOOOOM.
A wave of red light scanned across his body instantly.
Then a massive holographic screen appeared above him.
[Name: Rovak]
[Race: Drakhor Race]
[Age: 72]
[Cultivation Realm: Peak Awakening Realm]
[Threat Evaluation: A2]
The moment the A2 ranking appeared... several nearby people immediately reacted.
"That’s Rovak?"
"The Drakhor genius?"
"Damn..."
Garion blinked slowly. "...72?"
Rovak looked confused. "What’s wrong with that?"
Garion pointed upward. "You’re seventy-two!"
Rovak stared at him for two seconds before suddenly laughing loudly. "Hahaha!"
Slifera almost started laughing too.
Elisa sighed softly. "You really did come from a backward world..."
Garion frowned. "What?"
Slifera pointed around casually. "For cosmic races, seventy-two is still considered very young."
Garion blinked repeatedly. "...Seriously?"
Rovak nodded proudly. "Among geniuses, being under one hundred years old is considered young."
Garion’s mouth twitched slightly. "The hell kind of lifespan is that..."
Atlas suddenly laughed beside him.
[Congratulations. You’re officially the short-lived species stereotype now.]
Garion ignored him completely.
Then Slifera stepped onto the next platform.
Blue light instantly scanned across his metallic silver body.
Another holographic screen appeared.
[Name: Slifera]
[Race: Silverian Race]
[Age: 64]
[Cultivation Realm: Intermediate Awakening Realm]
[Threat Evaluation: A2]
Garion immediately looked surprised again. "Wait."
He pointed upward. "You’re only Intermediate Awakening Realm but still A2?"
Slifera smirked proudly. "Exactly."
Rovak crossed his arms. "Threat Evaluation isn’t only about cultivation level."
Elisa nodded calmly. "It measures danger and potential relative to your realm."
Slifera pointed at himself proudly. "My combat ability is considered abnormally high for Intermediate Awakening Realm."
Garion slowly nodded. "I see... It actually made sense."
Then Elisa stepped forward calmly.
Silver-white light flowed around her body as the platform activated.
The holographic screen appeared above her next.
[Name: Elisa]
[Race: Moon Elf Race]
[Age: 81]
[Cultivation Realm: Late Awakening Realm]
[Threat Evaluation: A2]
Several nearby cultivators immediately looked shocked.
"A Moon Elf A2?"
"That’s rare..."
"She’s one of the younger Moon Elf geniuses, right?"
Garion looked genuinely surprised now. "You guys are actually kinda famous..."
Rovak grinned proudly. "Kinda?"
Slifera smirked. "We’re considered rising geniuses from nearby star regions."
Garion stared blankly for a moment.
Then he pointed between them. "And you three were just casually helping random newbies?"
Elisa answered calmly. "We were bored."
Rovak nodded immediately. "And registration periods are entertaining."
Slifera grinned. "Especially when confused newcomers start panicking."
Garion snorted. "So I was entertainment."
"Exactly."
Garion could not even argue against that.
Then suddenly... All three of them slowly turned toward him at the same time.
Garion blinked. "...What?"
Rovak grinned widely. "Your turn."
Slifera crossed his arms while looking curious now. "Honestly, I really want to know your evaluation."
Even Elisa looked more interested than before.
Garion stared at the glowing platform ahead of him. Then the countless people nearby before turning back at the platform.
Atlas suddenly spoke beside him.
[This is going to become annoying very quickly.]
Garion sighed softly. "...Yeah."
Because somehow... he already had a very bad feeling about this.
