Help! I Think We Summoned A Demon King
Chapter 83: Maybe He’ll Do Me Too
The more Zorat peeled back the layers on the divine skills these heroes were bestowed, the more of a cheat system he felt they were given.
For example. The divine skill he had replicated from Erica, Infinite penetration....
This divine skill has two simple but deadly functions. So long as it’s activated using a bow and an arrow as the channel, all attacks will negate all defense.... 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
Both physical and magical.... striking both at the body .... and the soul.
Meaning, technically, when Erica gets enough mana to activate this skill on her own, she can even strike at Zorat’s soul, the main source of who he is.
Granted, it would do absolutely nothing to him, but the fact was, her ability could pierce through both body and soul, ignoring all defense.
It wasn’t just about their effects; it was the lethality when they are applied.... being a hundred to a thousand times more powerful than regular special skills of even the highest grades.
This also hints to Zorat why these heroes would be bestowed such abilities, since these abilities were bestowed for the purpose of these heroes collectively applying them to eventually battle the demon king as a unit.
Does that mean the demon king is an entity who has begun to become separate from their body, or are they already capable of both their souls and bodies living independently?
It gave Zorat a general ballpark idea of how strong the demon king would actually be.
Definitely at a similar realm with some decently strong demon kings from his dimension. Meaning, no one he had currently sensed in this world could stand against the demon king. And that’s saying a lord because Zorat had sensed a lot of presences during his current short stay in the palace. This includes the king, the saintess, and even the elusive royal enforcers.
As for the other broken skill he had obtained from Ava, Null Presence....
This one was also just as lethally effective, but in a completely different way. While the first is more direct and confrontational, this one excels in absence.
In simple terms, when activated, this divine skill allows the hero to become completely undetectable by anyone at or two realms above them.
It sounds simple in theory, but to put things into perspective, this would allow an adept realm Ava to approach and effortlessly land a lethal blow on a grandmaster without them knowing what had hit them.
And this becomes more broken the higher in realm she climbs, as for every climb in realm, the multiplier in strength is exponential.
Also, considering heroes already have broken stats aligned to their divine skills, and other sub skills that they master effortlessly as a consequence of the divine skills they possess...
Having one appear right next to their target would already be game over before the enemy knew what hit them.
Of course, there is a ridiculous mana cost, but for whatever little duration they can be used, it would surely be deadly for her opponent. When you take into account heroes’ cheat stat growth, they would soon be able to freely use these abilities.
Now, combining Ava’s own divine skill with Erica’s infinite penetration, the synergy was becoming obvious in these skills for a team-based attack squad with abilities compensating for one another.
These skills were now replicated to Zorat, and so too was the most important aspect: the divine authority fragments embedded in them.
Zorat now has to untravel them to their runic forms, making them have the same efficacy as his other current abilities with virtually no restrictions.
Well, there is a restriction, and that was Zorat’s present weak body and mind, but that too was slowly being corrected, as just from his earlier marathon with Kaelara, he could tell his physical constitution had improved slightly.
The other effect of her essence nectar, Zorat currently has no need for it, and it would probably wash out of his system after a while, since that part was temporary.
Getting into focus, Zorat began the process of unraveling both divine skills as runic patterns spiralled around him, dancing in and out of existence.
He remained in this meditative state on the wooden floor, in the room’s corner, until the sun came up fully and Myrra was now awake.
She saw Zorat just sitting there and concentrating, but she couldn’t see the runes; it was still buried too deep for lower lifeforms to perceive.
Only when it’s fully brought under control by Zorat and applied in its raw state in the physical world, would lesser lifeforms be able to perceive them, but only in their elemental state.
To sense runes, an independent realization is necessary, even at the surface level.
And most importantly, lesser lifeforms would also perceive no use or flow of mana in these actions to appear to them as skills because there would be no mana or any other energy source in use.
That would be the most mind-bending aspect to anyone granted the opportunity to see Zorat use his abilities.
Just like the current Myrra, who was just sitting on her bed and looking at Zorat sitting in a meditative lotus position on the wooden floor with his eyes shut, and wearing his overnight garment.
Her face suddenly flushed red in recollection of what she had seen and done the night before; she looked both embarrassed and extremely curious, her eyes darting unconsciously to the very obvious elongated bulge in Zorat’s pants.
Myrra dreamed up fantasies as she sat there with curiosity and igniting arousal, but before her thoughts could fly into more salacious details, she heard the cabin doors creak open, and Florielle walked in, beaming her beautiful smile and smelling of sweet lilies.
"Good morning, Myrra," she greeted, setting down the basket of fruits she had on her.
Shocked out of her imaginative thoughts, Myraa responded, smiling in a nervous stammer." Mo mo...morning ...Florielle. You slept well ?" she managed to mutter in exchange.
"Yes, I did thank you..."
"Ah... don’t worry about that. I know how you must feel." Florielle suddenly said, smiling, looking in the direction where Myrra was looking at Zorat.
"Excuse me?!" Myrra blurted in shock as her face flushed red. Her tone immediately became defensive.
"Lord hero.... He meditates from time to time. So you don’t need to worry." Florielle clarified, smiling innocently.
"Ah...I see." Myrra sighed in relief. She had thought maybe she had been too obvious earlier.
The two ladies talked belatedly as Florielle cleaned the cabin. But when she got to the mattress and pulled out the ruined sheets, she had a look of confusion on her face as she began sniffing the fabric....
"Hmm.. it smells like the one before," she mumbled curiously.
Then she proceeded to throw them in the cloth basket, resuming her cleaning, while Myrra, who was watching all this to the side, made an interesting new realization, which she interpreted to suit her own desires...
’So my lord does it a lot.... ’ she thought in her mind.
’Maybe he’ll do me too ?’
