Chapter 9: CH.9 | First Breakthrough Among The Disciple

Lin Tian smiled and stepped forward.

Wu Yue’s body was drenched in sweat, her clothes were messy and tattered, her face was flushed, and her eyes looked dazed.

Zhao Yun was still shaken. He never expected Wu Yue’s body to be tainted by Lin Tian’s disgusting actions.

"I’ll give you a proposal," Lin Tian said.

"What?" Zhao Yun asked angrily.

"I’ll allow Junior Wu Yue to stay and receive intensive treatment at the Lingxian Sect," Lin Tian replied.

"Until her condition fully recovers, I’ll guarantee her safety," Lin Tian said.

He turned and looked at Zhao Yun again. "What do you think?"

Zhao Yun became even more furious. His face turned bright red, and his sharp gaze intimidated Lin Tian.

"I won’t hand Wu Yue over even if you force me to!" Zhao Yun shouted.

Lin Tian fell silent for a moment, then sighed and nodded in understanding.

He stretched out his hand and clenched his palm, crushing the iron cage trapping Zhao Yun.

Not only that, Lin Tian also launched a golden qi orb forward, sending it into Wu Yue’s body.

The woman’s condition gradually recovered.

Her hair became neat again, her clothes returned to order, and her strength fully recovered.

She stood on her flying sword, then floated over to Zhao Yun and hid behind her future husband.

Lin Tian realized he could not force Wu Yue.

That would only create an even more dangerous conflict between the Lingxian Sect and the Yunlan Sect.

And for now, the Lingxian Sect still did not have enough power to rival the Yunlan Sect.

With a snap of his fingers, the barrier sphere disappeared and faded away.

An Yue and the others could now clearly see the situation in the sky.

Out of the five Yunlan Sect cultivators, only two remained.

"I won’t seek another conflict. Go back and never come here again," Lin Tian ordered.

Zhao Yun pointed forward with a face full of rage. "Lin Tian! I will never forgive you!"

He and Wu Yue flew away from the Lingxian Sect. However, before leaving completely, Wu Yue briefly turned back and stared firmly at Lin Tian.

The woman’s expression looked as if she was holding something back in her heart.

Lin Tian did not react much. The Pleasure Touch curse was still active on her, so there was a chance Wu Yue would return to demand responsibility from him.

The man turned around and moved in a flash of white light, leaving the sky and returning to the front courtyard of the Lingxian Sect.

An Yue and the others walked over to Lin Tian together.

They praised him for successfully driving away the people from the Yunlan Sect.

"You may return to your cultivation," Lin Tian said.

They obediently nodded. Lin Tian’s eyes glowed bright white as he carefully activated his cultivation eyes.

The changes in their emotional values had increased. It was not very significant, but it was still a decent improvement.

Luo Mei smiled but did not respond. She only lowered her head.

Every time she saw Lin Tian, she was reminded of last night, something she would never be able to forget.

"We should have a big meal today to celebrate Luo Mei’s breakthrough," An Yue said enthusiastically.

"There’s no need, Senior Sister An Yue. A regular dinner is enough."

"Don’t be like that. We’re one family. The achievement of one of us is the success of all of us. We have to celebrate it," An Yue replied insistently.

"What do you think, Master Lin?" An Yue asked.

Lin Tian fell silent for a moment as he looked ahead at An Yue and Luo Mei. A wide smile spread across his face.

The handsome man slowly nodded. "We should celebrate it."

"But not at the sect."

An Yue and Luo Mei became even more surprised, exchanging confused looks with each other.

"Then where?" An Yue asked.

Lin Tian patted his bag of holding and took out a money pouch filled with low-grade spirit stones.

Since Luo Mei was the first disciple to break through after Lin Tian came out of secluded cultivation, he planned to celebrate at a restaurant in the city.

"We’re going to eat well at a restaurant in the city."

"Really?" An Yue asked in shock.

"Yes," Lin Tian explained. "Go and tell the others to get ready. We’ll leave together once the sun sets."
