Leah smiled. "Fair enough. I am Leah Ford, Lightning affinity.."

Lukas raised his eyebrows. It was a rare affinity. "Interesting.."

"Well not as interesting as yours but I will take that as a compliment. It has a downside though.." Leah sighed. "Till now I did not get a single skill orb of my element.."

Lukas could understand that. The probability of getting a skill orb was lower and it was even lower for rare affinity elements.

If not for his special bundles, he would not have gotten a skill for light element either. To increase the probability you had to have the affinity element and keep last hitting lots of dead walkers to trigger the drop.

Nevertheless, he had a skill orb of lightning element and it was even an uncommon tier. He would not give it up for free though.

Currently he did not need anything specific other than the lust points, so he was not interested in selling...

"I am Leon Mercer, Metal Affinity."

Leon spoke up while driving and Lukas gave a nod.

"My name is Anna Foster, Fire affinity.." Anna smiled and bowed slightly.

"Nice to meet you miss Anna.."

Age wise all of them seemed to be in their early twenties, so they were older than him.

"Nathan Reed, Earth affinity..." Nathan spoke with a little strained voice.

Lukas wondered if it was because he was sitting with Anna.. ’Well that is amusing..’

After reaching a certain point, Leon turned the vehicle off road and took it towards the wilderness.

The terrain was a little rough but since this vehicle was made for it, that was not an issue.

The real issue was inside the vehicle. Although the suspension was quite good, the rough terrain still made them lose balance inside unconditionally.

Lukas was in the middle and he was getting bumped by both Anna and Nathan. He could feel that Anna was trying her best to avoid hitting him with her shoulders and thighs but it was not in her control.

The more she tried to control it the harder she would bump into him the moment she lost control due to the jerks.

Lukas smiled internally while shaking his head. It was not that much of a big deal..

A few moments later the vehicle stopped.

"We are here.."

Leah spoke and everyone came out.

Lukas stretched himself while looking at the place. It was a little high terrain with a waterfall nearby. The military base was visible from here.

"Those hills are the base of the level 4 dead walker.."

Leah pointed towards the hills behind the base and Lukas nodded in understanding.

"I see.."

As Lukas was looking around he finally found a dead walker walking beside the small stream of the river. It was a boar.

"There used to be a lot of low level dead walkers in this area but after the evolution of that level 4 dead walker, this area has become sparse.." Leah sighed.

Lukas took out his bow which he had strapped around his torso before they started the expedition and looked at the boar. "So how do you plan to hunt?"

He wanted to go alone but nonetheless since they tagged along he would still hear their opinion.

Leah immediately spoke. "This place is considered a high level area actually. Although the D beasts, short term for Dead walker beasts, are less, they are strong.

Most of the D beasts are at level two but there are enough level three also, so it would be safe if we all stick together.."

Lukas thought for a moment but shook his head. "I can handle myself alone. Level three are not an issue for me. You guys should hunt nearby.."

Leah immediately pouted. "For god sake, it really is dangerous. Even General Victor hunts in a team. Even if you are strong, one wrong step and you can lose your life and you do know that your life is quite important..."

Lukas was a little amused inwardly. She really knew how to throw a tantrum but he was not going to budge. He did not want to hunt with all of them. It would be too slow.

He needed 100 level two crystals for his bow and even if there was no mention, he had a feeling that level three crystals would work too. So he was hopeful that by the end of his hunt he would achieve his target.

"Look, I get your point, but you all will just slow me down.." Lukas did not say more than that. They could understand very well what he meant.

"Damn it... how about this then. I will come with you. The forest is dangerous with a lot of exotic plants. Who knows which one might poison you, so having at least one of us together is important.." Leah was adamant. She really did not want anything to happen to Lukas. He was too important for the camp right now.

Leon did not like that idea but he did not say anything. Among them only Leah did not have a skill and this was perfect balance since they themselves needed all the skills to hunt safely.

Lukas did not mind it. If she wanted to come she could. He could also see the obvious frown on Leon’s face and he was not even surprised.

Having trust in your lover is one thing but watching her tag along with someone else is not a good feeling.

For him though, it was fueling his lust even more. If possible he really wanted to have sex with Leah.

She was gorgeous, not to mention the thrill of making her cheat on her lover was overly enticing.

"Well, if you want to come then come.."

Leah’s eyes lit up. "Alright then.."

Soon after discussing the time when they would meet and where they were going, Leah and Lukas climbed the higher terrain where the main wilderness starts. They left the boar to Leon’s team.

As they moved through the rough terrain and trees, Leah began falling behind. "Slow down will you, save some energy for fighting.."

Leah was an athletic woman but Lukas with his bow equipped was far more agile and his endurance was also off the charts.
