Galaxy Fall: All My Skills Are Maxed
Chapter 283: The King VS The Angel
[Golden Palace.]
The glowing screen illuminating the Golden Palace reflected off Adira’s wide, astonished eyes. Her ethereal form trembled slightly as she watched the raw, divine energy pouring out of the newly awakened boy.
"This... I have seen this body," Adira exclaimed in surprise, staring at Carl’s new form.
"Seen it?! How?" Mirabella asked in shock, turning sharply to the divine fairy. The sudden revelation pierced through her usual calm demeanor.
"My memories are in a mess, but I am sure this lineage is from the golden Angel clan," she muttered in shock, her hands pressing against her temples as fractured images of a forgotten era tried to force their way into her mind.
"Golden Angel clan?! What’s that?!" Mirabella asked, her mind immediately trying to quantify this new variable. She turned fully to Adira, who could only lightly shake her head, looking defeated by her own fragmented soul.
"I am sorry, Master. I can’t remember," Adira said in a low voice, a hint of frustration bleeding through her gentle tone.
"No worries, we will take everything slow," Mirabella nodded her head, instantly masking her intense curiosity with a reassuring presence.
’I discovered some days ago that Adira has some memories lost, Memories from unknown era and beings. Maybe she is a reincarnation of some supreme being,’ Mirabella thought, calculating the vast implications of her companion’s true origins. She slowly exhaled, releasing the tension in her shoulders.
’As I said, we will know with time.’
____
[Third World.]
[Lamashtu Faction - Silver Castle.]
Far beyond the domain, in the sprawling, majestic architecture of the Silver Castle, a dormant queen stirred.
Lamashtu slowly opened her red eyes, her gaze filled with a sudden, sharp intensity. The ambient energy in her throne room rippled with her surprise and disbelief.
"The Golden Angel Clan still has a descendant? How is that possible?! I thought they were all wiped out in the great war?!" she asked herself in disbelief, her voice echoing off the cold, silver pillars.
"My Queen, who is the Golden Angel Clan?" the lady standing respectfully before her, an elite general known as Viper, asked, tilting her head in confusion.
"The Golden Angel Clan were once an ancient family, who might even rival the Aethelgard family. They were once allies of the great Sun family, who joined forced in the great war... But, they were all killed," she said, her crimson eyes losing focus as she became lost in the bloody memories of a shattered past.
’Did one reborn, or did he or she send their soul away... But the energy this person is releasing, it’s indeed weak, only the first stage of strength. If he or she unlocks the fifth stage, they might even kill a King stage cultivator when only being a celestial stage cultivator,’ Lamashtu sighed deeply, bringing a pale hand up and rubbing her forehead, burdened by the cosmic shift this presence represented. The power scaling of this ancient bloodline defied the very laws of their reality.
"I already spread my spiritual energy all over the place, even in the first and second worlds, and I still can’t sense this person, he or she isn’t even on earth," she muttered in deep confusion. Her sensory ability spanned dimensions, yet this anomaly remained entirely untraceable.
"They must be hiding in a secret dimension," Viper guessed, trying to offer a logical assessment.
"Or they’re using a Supreme Class artifact," she said, her tone darkening at the thought of such a weapon.
"Supreme class? That’s impossible, there is no supreme class artifact in the lower world, even in the third, it’s difficult to see one," Viper said in shock. Items of that tier were mythic, capable of altering the fabric of the universe itself.
"True, it must be something else. Anyway, I will keep watch on this person..." she said, her sharp nails digging into her palms as she clenched her fist.
’If I can get them under my control, I can replace Luigi.’
___
[Carl.]
The battlefield was a scorched wasteland, bathed in the radiant light of Carl’s newly manifested golden wings. The air itself hummed with his awakened power.
"I want to say thank you for helping me gain this power," Carl said, his voice steady and resonating with a strange, harmonic frequency. He was staring directly at Sukuna, who was standing casually on the ruined ground, looking up at him with immense interest.
"No worries, it’s nothing much," Sukuna smiled softly, a predatory grin that promised absolute violence.
"Okay, why don’t you show me what you can do now--" he paused, his eyes widening slightly as the very winds around Carl started moving, condensing and twisting until they formed long, lethal swords of pure, solidified air rather than his usual daggers.
’In these six months Battles, I have maxed this skill, all my abilities has been maxed already!!’ Carl realized, feeling the absolute mastery of his abilities flooding his veins.
WHOOSH!!!
With a mere thought, all the condensed air swords shot towards Sukuna like a barrage of artillery fire. The King of Curses smirked, and shot forward. He easily weaved through the devastating projectiles, his body a blur as he dodged the swords which flew past him, smashing heavily into the ground and completely shattering it behind him.
"Hahahahahaha!!! So fun!!"
Sukuna smashed his bare feet on the ground, cracking the tectonic plates beneath him, and shot forward like a guided rocket. He appeared instantaneously in front of Carl, suspended in mid-air, and sent a devastating punch aimed to shatter the boy’s ribs.
"Come on!!"
Carl yelled, refusing to back down. He poured his golden, angelic energy into his arm and sent his own punch, meeting the ancient curse head-on.
BOOOOM!!!
The shockwave from their fists colliding instantly cleared the smoke and debris for miles. The two titans engaged in countless rounds of high-speed combat, destroying their surroundings non-stop, leaving residual golden and crimson afterimages all over the broken space.
BOOM!!
The two separated momentarily, bouncing off the invisible boundaries of the biome, and shot forward again, each sending another earth-shattering punch.
BOOOOOOM!!
Their fists collided once more, the sheer kinetic force sending them both flying backward. They landed heavily on the ground, the impact creating massive craters, heavily creaking the ground under their feet.
"Hahahaha!! So good! You have improved a lot!" Sukuna yelled with a bloodthirsty smile, genuinely thrilled by the combat he was experiencing.
Carl grimaced at him, vigorously shaking the painful numbness off his hand. ’This guy is too powerful, He is just using his physical strength from the very start, he hasn’t used a single skill... I am not his match at all,’ he thought, the grim reality of the power gap threatening to crush his newfound resolve.
"Okay Carl, I should show you my strongest form... You are qualified to see this stage before you die," he said, his tone dropping to a chilling, absolute zero.
A dense, suffocating red energy rose violently from his body. The remnants of his shirt tore away completely, as intricate, dark tattoos rapidly appeared and spread across his skin, signaling the apex of his cursed technique.
"Domain Expansion, Malevolent Shrine."
BOOOOM!! 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺
Instantly, the natural laws of the biome were overwritten. The whole surrounding space turned a terrifying, blood-red hue. A huge, eerie, temple-like mouth rose out from his back, adorned with grotesque fangs and jagged spikes all over. The absolute domain instantly covered a 200-meter radius, flawlessly trapping Carl within its inescapable boundaries.
"Cleave and Dismantle."
Carl frowned deeply, feeling the chaotic, slicing energy filling every single atomic particle in the air around him. With mere microseconds before the invisible blades connected, he quickly channeled every ounce of his awakened lineage into his new strongest defense skill.
"Golden defense!!"
His two huge, divine wings violently snapped forward, instantly covering him in a cocoon of absolute, impenetrable golden light, just as Sukuna’s strongest, reality-severing attack smashed into him.
