"It might be related to suspected hypothyroidism," Shilei replied, glancing again at Xie Wanying’s face. Whether her suspicion was correct would soon be revealed once the test results came out.

"Are you calling me to deal with respiratory failure or heart failure now?" Shim Youhuan asked him.

"Heart failure. The respiratory failure shouldn’t be too severe. It’s improved a lot after using the ventilator. But heart failure cannot be ignored," Shilei said, pointing at the patient’s ECG.

The doctors began examining the real-time ECG on the monitor. Furthermore, Shilei had just taken an ECG with the machine earlier and handed it over to Shim Youhuan for review.
