Chapter 889 - 766: Everyone Kicks a Man Who Is Down

Southern New Continent, Chaotic Territory Cabraal.

On this vast land occupying half of the continent's southern area, spanning 9 million square kilometers, resources are abundant and magic elements vibrant. Whether it's mundane minerals, forestry resources or the numerous demonized materials required by the Extraordinary World, they are exceptionally abundant.

Of course, before being known as a treasure trove, what truly makes this place famous globally is its chaos!

Colonies from civilized countries, remnants of the destroyed Atrean People, runaway slaves from various countries' colonies, various large and small wizard schools, and factions of non-mainstream paths of Extraordinaries are tangled together here, making it the most complex place in terms of power dynamics across the entire New Continent, bar none.

It can be called a blind spot of order, a haven of chaos.

On this day, a somewhat foggy morning.

Swoosh!

A streak of pitch-black flowing light just appeared from the northern sky, swiftly arriving at the coast, lightly landing on the streets of the small coastal town of Camside.

Tap...tap...tap...

Steps moved gracefully, waist swayed gently, a figure full of feminine charm emerged.

Her long black hair was styled high up behind her head, her exquisite face painted with blue lipstick and purple eye shadow, seemingly adorned with a unique green "flower" at the temple.

Her figure was slender and graceful, wearing a black formal long dress of the Nimansite style, holding a lace parasol of the same color.

From looks, attire to demeanor, she was entirely reminiscent of a alluring Nimansite noblewoman.

However, her reputation in the New Continent was enough to make the young and old fall silent, and children cease their cries, as she was indeed the "Lady Crow" Ye He'er, whose lair should have been in the Northern Continent.

At this moment, the High-Rank Totem Gods Statue seemed to have consumed some great nourishment, exuding radiance from within, the aura stronger than ever, even her steps were more spirited.

Obviously, her mood was excellent.

Gazing at the small city in front shrouded in a faint mist, she instinctively touched the green fungi at her temple, her perfect lips slightly curling with shrewdness and significant meaning:

"The Demigod Blood brought me quite the surprise, the day of my sole reign over the Northern Continent isn't far off, Melro, Galliot Duchy... hehe."

She casually walked towards the city center.

By the roadside was a group of mysterious figures cloaked in hooded robes, facing the seaborne, somewhat foul-smelling breeze from the "Mist Sea" direction, loudly chanting sacred prayers: π‘“π“‡π˜¦β„―π˜Έπ˜¦π‘π“ƒπ‘œπ˜·β„―π‘™.π‘π‘œπ“‚

"...All secrets stem from that foul mist, all because the Devourer can manifest in any dampness; the will-o'-the-wisp of the dead resides in this house, fills this chamber, and the essence of the devourer shall arrive from therein; he dwells deep in the ocean, quietly awaiting the return to the surface. His eyes observe all directions, his ears hear all paths..."

Camside and nearby Brichester City both belonged to human settlements closest to the "Mist Sea." The belief in the "Fog of Order" had fully dominated these two cities years ago.

Openly reciting the prayers of the Evil God was not surprising at all.

And judging by their prayers, the "Maze God" now formally renamed as "Just Angel," or "God of Engineering and the Arena" Aihote of the Fourth Era, had not yet relocated his demigod sanctuary into the Divine Kingdom of True God "God of Black Wings."

It's unclear whether it's due to his current lack of strength or some other plan.

Yet it seems this place doesn't solely belong to the "Fog of Order," as Ye He'er continued walking and encountered another group similarly dressed, also chanting:

"The God hails from distant Calcsa!

Along the shore, slicing through clouds; the yellowing sun sinks into the lake.

Long shadows fall down...

Only dryness and silence remain in lost Calcsa..."

Sensitive senses easily allowed Ye He'er to capture the abnormality of these two groups, the first group's robe occasionally had tentacle-like things writhing underneath, while the second group surrounded by buzzing insects, clearly none of them were normal humans!

It was apparent.

The Ancient Gods possessed the "Corrupting Blood," a tool capable of turning enemies into allies, and had already been applied in real combat on Celebes Island, so how could they possibly overlook the Chaotic Territory Cabraal?

Moreover, unlike the small development space of Celebes Island, which only held significant value for those Extraordinaries themselves, the Ancient Gods clearly favored the more fertile and densely populated Cabraal Region.

Due to numerous concerns, the True God Church had not vigorously developed the New Continent, resulting in a reality where divine power is weak, conveniently exploited by the Ancient Gods, to a certain extent becoming their stronghold in the Material World.

Ye He'er didn't bother with those bizarre Evil God cultists, she walked straight into the city center "Fog of Order" headquarters cathedral.

This cathedral consisted of three main parts, the Holy Altar, the main body of the church, and the nave, representing the three levels of congregation: saints of the Celestial Kingdom and mortal realm, followers, and those preparing to accept the faith.

This is also the common layout of most cathedrals.

Led by a "Blasphemous Cultist" who had long completed his transformation, Ye He'er entered the nave of the cathedral and approached the holy altar dedicated to the "Just Angel."

"Divine Prince!"

After saluting the host, who wore a robe and was much taller than regular humans, Ye He'er sat in an empty spot on the far right of the first row of several long benches.

At the moment, five people were already seated there. Despite his overwhelming ambition, Ye He'er harbored no arrogance here, nodding amicably to each of them.

On the left, the first person was a White-Mastizo with clear mixed features, dressed in white clothes and a white hat. Her name wasβ€”β€”"Voodoo Queen" Laviu, nearly a peak-level Upper-Rank Wizard.

She officially established the current organizational form of "Voodoo", which externally operates as a church, but internally as a school, back when the slave trade had just begun a hundred years ago.

This brilliant female sorcerer merged the concept of the "Mysterious Source" with the concept of "God," accelerating the growth of the mysterious source through the power of believers' faith, forging a path unique to both wizards and gods.

The effect was immediate; in merely a century, she traversed what countless wizard schools couldn't accomplish in thousands of years, benefiting greatly, surpassing even the nearly four-hundred-year-old "Snake Witch" Serra.

Due to some unwelcome guests, the entirety of "Voodoo" recently relocated from "Saint Domingo Island" in the "Golden Sea" to here.

The second individual seemed to be an Atrean indigenous with a bare upper body and a black feather crown. In reality, he shared the same identity as "Lady Crow" Ye He'er, one of the three High-Rank Totem Gods of the Southern New Continent, "Rain God" Chuck.

Unlike the "Lady Crow" Ye He'er, who recently rose after the arrival of colonists, "Rain God" Chuck was an official deity during the Azik Empire era, possessing a longstanding and extensive faith in the New Continent.

He maintains tremendous influence in the Cabraal region, where the escaped Azik Remnant Race is scattered.

The third person appeared to be an ordinary-looking black-robed Official Wizard named "Poison Bee." However, Ye He'er knew that due to undisclosed reasons, he now officially represents the most powerful black wizard force in Cabraal, the "Curse School."

The opportunistic black wizards were evidently prepared to jump off the sinking ship of Hilus and had found their next destination long ago. Constrained by a contract with Hilus, the school's senior leadership won't appear or act, but once the outcome of the independence war is decided, everything will naturally fall into place.

The final two individuals are the true leaders of this significant gathering.

Although worldly power holds no measure against divine entities, two high-ranking members among the Ancient Gods' Beloved are deeply passionate about secular power, obsessed with becoming true kings since their human birth.

One is the leader of "Corrupted Cultist" under "Chaos Worm," the former Ilya exile Crown Prince Yellen, whom Ye He'er interacted with the least and found most unfamiliar.

The other is the visible top leader of "Fog of Order" under the "Just Angel," the current "Born in the Light of Aihote's Offspring," formerly the Golden Sea Pirate King, "Oathbreaker" Bradley.

As for Ye He'er himself, he eventually succumbed to the allure of power. While attempting to analyze divine power through a drop of Demigod Blood, unsurprisingly, he touched upon the consciousness of that great entity due to similar abilities.

He then smoothly embraced the Ancient Gods.

Gradually, he corrected his path to harness power from the "Death" caused by [Unclean] and [Plague], stepping one foot on the road of the Evil God, perfectly aligned with the [Disease] governed by "Fly King."

Just as the "Gospel Church" lost the Crowned Demon "Corrupt Odorous Crawler," both parties quickly agreed, and "Lady Crow" swiftly took office, becoming the spokesperson for the "Angel of Disease."

With Yellen mastering "Corrupting Blood" capable of "turning foes into friends," the Demigod backing nearby, Bradley, the most powerful black wizard organization "Curse School," with the widely supported "Rain God" Chuck, controlling the vast faith of Anuma Slaves as "Voodoo," mastering behind-the-enemy operations by the "Gospel Church."

What this group of people wants to accomplish by gathering together is rather predictable.

Clap! Clap!

The exceptionally burly Bradley clapped:

"Since everyone is here, let's begin. The chaotic Cabraal, and the entire southern continent needs the new order we bring!"

No person prospers for a thousand days, no flower blooms for a hundred days.

With the example set by Aiven's establishment of the Galliot Duchy last winter, rule over the sea prevailed for nearly two hundred years, Hilus finally met the day of collective downfall.

As for... once the towering Hilus Empire finally falls, who'll rise to take the second spot goes without saying.

...

Whooshβ€”!

Sixty oars rowed in unison, [Theseus] continued to race across the sea.

Even though some people were anxious to return, in this territory, they could only honestly sail back.

They almost brushed past the southern "Eternal White Land," gradually departing from the depths of "Broken Star Sea." To reach the realm capable of reconnecting with the Spirit Realm, allowing the [Crown of Miracles] residing in the duchy to initiate the [Dream Cruise], they would also need to wait until late August.
