The two rank 4 calamities she had chosen were the Terronex Gravhorn Rhino and the Gravemirth Hyena Varkul! The five rank 3 were the other two hyenas and the three Pestilent Septicore Rats!

Aezaleon started with the rhinoceros, activating <Matter Absorption> on it. Afterwards, he targeted the hyenas and at last the Pestilent Septicore Rats!

The whole process was completed in under fifteen minutes.

Moreover, after its completion, even Auguszta was left exhausted and in a weakened state. She too took some time in his arms to rest her mind and body. His warmth appeared as quite the medicine for the two girls, since in under a few minutes Auguszta got better quite visibly.

Subsequently, Aezaleon also went and absorbed the Calamity: Cryonox Glacioryx Ursidon.

From this he got to comprehend another superior concept. His third one—[Glaciomancer]. He had his [Lesser Frost] reach Proficiency Level Two: Major! Also, he even got some insights into the abilities the calamity had created, getting to learn one of them too.

Auguszta further expanded on the details of the two new concepts she just learned.

The former concept allowed her to lock her targets in place by applying focused gravity pressure. It was also capable of restraining many opponents at once, but its strength decreased against stronger targets or when it was used on too many enemies at the same time.

The while, the latter concept actually turned her voice into a force of fear and control, filling spoken words with terror-inducing resonance. It did not harm the body directly, but affected the mind, weakening resistance and influencing how her targets think, react, and act.

Simply put, if Auguszta uttered, "Don’t move," through Voxbind, the target would feel an overwhelming fear. His mind would become hesitant, and his body would follow.

His movement would slow or stop without physical force. Through it, her very words were infused with dread-inducing frequencies of sound waves.

Also, in here, intelligent speech equaled structured control signals; meaning the more meaningful her words were, the stronger the effect was.

There was no noise, no shouting, just intentional speech becoming control.

Speech that turned meaning into fear—

And the said fear into control.

Afterwards, with everything done and with the moon already high in the sky, Clementine stored the other rank four bodies and used her illusion-type ability—[False Sanctum]; generating a barrier with a range of 5000 meters. It had a simple effect of concealing their presence and distorting the perception of anyone who entered it.

It had some corruptive and manipulative effects too, but Clementine did not expand on them much and just left the three alone, going inside her castle inside his [Infinite Soul Sea]. Giving them some personal time to enjoy themselves.

Also, to not torture herself by hearing their rude moans.

"We are so dirty and reek of sweat and blood, it would’ve been nice if we could find a source of water somewhere here too," Aezaleon commented, checking his immediate surroundings.

Actually, there wasn’t much to check either.

The land was thoroughly destroyed and was covered in permafrost because of his battle against the Calamity: Cryonox Glacioryx Ursidon.

It used a whole lot of AoE types of attacks, so it was to be expected.

"I think we can easily find a water body near us," Aphryne spoke in an encouraging tone. "A barrier of 5000 meters radius is not small at all. Moreover, by diameter, it would be 10,000 meters and by area would be 30.324 mi²."

She too wanted to clean herself at least, before doing anything else. Evidently, she did not want to make Aezaleon feel uncomfortable from her bad odor. At least that’s what she imagined, unaware of his actual thoughts.

"Also, the place we are in is not barren or with less flora, so we should search for it. Surely we can find at least one water body in big sister’s barrier," Auguszta suggested with a gentle smile. "However, even if we did not, we could always leave it and search outside."

Aezaleon nodded towards Auguszta’s suggestion, and soon they were on the move searching for some water in this destroyed land.

There were some calamities too in this barrier, but they completely failed to sense their presence, even if the distance separating them was only a hundred or so meters.

It was a slow, casual walk in the cool moonlight.

There was no rush or anything, so all three took their sweet time while enjoying the mesmerizing scenery of the forest after walking out of the destroyed area.

Nevertheless, the relaxing walk finally came to an end when they sensed the presence of a dense water element not far from them.

They had traveled a distance of 3700 meters from their starting point. A distance of a few hundred meters more and a clear water pond with crystalline blue water came before them.

The reflection of the moon couldn’t be any clearer on the surface of the water, and the relaxing and cold air around the pond couldn’t be anymore obvious.

Without delay, Aezaleon sent a thought to Clementine in his soul, and as a result, both his and the girls’ clothes vanished.
