After speaking, the dwarf and God of Forging slightly bowed to Eve apologetically.

Although He didn’t clarify why He made this gesture, Eve could roughly understand His intention.

This was Dorfte expressing guilt towards the Elf Clan.

After all, if viewed from a character perspective, Eve was not just the "successor" of the World Tree’s divine role, but also the "avenger" for the Elf Clan.

The gods once betrayed the World Tree.

Even though Dorfte wasn’t involved, if He wanted to get close to Eve, He would certainly need to explain past events clearly.

The True God is no saint, and the predecessor did not form His own divine system, so naturally, it’s impossible to expect other True Gods to work themselves to the bone for Him.

Even contemplating it from another’s viewpoint, Eve didn’t think it could be done any better.

A True God of weak divine power, who barely manages to take care of Himself, to participate in battles with strong divine powers, it’s a death wish.

However, Dorfte’s words confirmed another point to Eve, which is except for the human divine system and the War God system, most other True Gods of Faith, and even ancient gods, should be like Dorfte.

They possessed goodwill towards the World Tree, and had no intention of being enemies, some might even stand on the side of the World Tree during the millennial divine war.

But whether for self-preservation or some other reasons, ultimately they didn’t step forward.

Perhaps they could gather into a rather strong force, but without a leader, they are just a pile of scattered sand.

In fact, if the predecessor had been more attentive to other True Gods, and had stronger control over the Pantheon, perhaps He could command other True Gods to act when besieged by the humans and War God systems, to come to His aid.

Still, for the current situation, and the footing in the future, He felt more confident.

The great trainer once told us to gather many of our people and few of the enemy’s.

Now that it’s known not all gods are enemies, quite a few could be won over, it requires careful planning...

At least not to walk the old path of the predecessor.

This firmed Eve’s plan to use battlefield missions to gather power through players, while "farming" True God prestige to make friends.

Naturally, combining the information from Dorfte and Ulinos, the Starry Sky Guardian Rigdar can be excluded.

This ancient True God is neutral to an almost bizarre extent, devoid of position, shrouded in mystery...

Be wary of Rigdar...

The reminder from the Ancestor Dragon, Eve felt was worthy of attention and trust.

At the very least, keep an eye out.

However, concerning Dorfte’s response about the Land of Origin, Eve felt more puzzled:

"Your Grace Dorfte, I know of past events, and I can understand your choices, but... what did you mean earlier about the True Gods who entered the Land of Origin going mad? Did they see something?"

For beings whose souls have evolved into Divine Souls, possessing strong will, Eve couldn’t imagine what they saw that would drive them mad.

As for Himself, even if entering the Land of Origin, realizing He was merely a character in a novel, or just a plaything in the hands of some mysterious existence, or similar to a Blue Star brain in a jar, a Matrix-like world truth... Eve felt even if His worldview shattered, madness was far off.
