Chapter 58: A Group from the Nexus Organization

Five teenagers in blue jackets with mage emblems on the chest were heading to the Northvale Village together.

His name was Axel Bennett, the leader of the group and the strongest among them.

The reason he liked power most was that he could get anything with it, including beautiful women.

They continued chatting.

Shortly after that, they reached their destination.

When the people guarding the gate noticed the emblem on their jackets, they immediately brought them to the village head’s place.

Julia was one of the most famous people in the younger generation.

Even though she was not an awakener, she was really strong. She had even killed a magical beast before.

Once Julia was in front of his house, she knocked on the door gently. "Village head, are you looking for me?"

Bernard instantly shifted his gaze to her.

"Julia, come in." he didn’t close the door, so he could see her.

Julia stepped into the living room and stood beside them.

She knew their identities from the emblem on their jackets.

"Julia, they are from the Aether Organization." Bernard introduced them to her. "She is Julia, one of the strongest non-awakeners in our place."

While they were looking for the best plan, Axel and the others arrived at Bernard’s house.

"Village Head, the people from the Nexus Organization have arrived." The brown-haired man said politely.

Bernard and the others stopped talking and turned toward the source of the sound.

The moment Axel and his lackeys saw the people from the Aether Organization, their expressions changed.

The hostility between the two factions had long spread to their members, so their hatred toward Ren and the others was only natural.

Bernard immediately rose to his feet and approached them with a warm smile. "Please, come in."

"Village Chief, what is the meaning of all this?" Despite talking to the elder, Axel showed no respect at all.

He was from the Nexus Organization.

Their status was much above Bernard and the others.

"Young friend, I don’t understand your question. Did we do something wrong?" Bernard was confused.

"Them!" Rian pointed his right index finger at Ren and the others. "Why are they here?"
