Chapter 54: This Big Sister Is Pretty, Kind, and Popular

Virelia never expected the one she wanted to meet was the waiter she saw at the coffee shop.

When Cassandra saw her surprised face, she immediately teased her. "What is this? Are you stunned by his handsome face?"

Virelia came to her senses after hearing her words. "Well, I admit that he is an attractive young man."

"Haha." Cassandra laughed at her honest answer. "Ren, Elara, come here. I want to introduce you to your senior."

Both Ren and Elara approached them.

"Hmm?" He was startled when he saw Virelia.

’Isn’t she the customer from earlier?’

He still remembered her as she was an attractive woman.

"Hello, my name is Zara." Virelia used her fake identity.

"I’m Ren." Ren introduced himself.

"I...I’m Elara." Elara added.

"Ren, she is interested in you." After saying that, Cassandra turned to Virelia. "Isn’t that right, Zara?"

"That’s right," Virelia answered without feeling shy. "I’m sure any awakener would want to meet someone who awakens both paths."

"I see." Ren finally knew why Virelia came to them.

"Alright, I will leave now. I still have work to do." Cassandra immediately returned to her office.

Once she disappeared into the distance, Virelia began asking him many questions.

She asked about what she was most curious about, such as how it felt to have both a beast core and a mana core, and what he felt when using magic or innate abilities.

Since she was his senior, he decided to answer all of her questions.

At 11:00 pm, Virelia stopped and left the training ground.

Ren let out a sigh of relief because he was finally free from her countless questions.

Then, Ren and Elara trained again.

To their surprise, Virelia returned an hour later.

She didn’t come empty-handed this time.

She came with two bags filled with delicious food and drinks.

"It’s lunchtime. Let’s eat together." Virelia knew that she had disturbed their training, so as an apology, she brought them something to eat.

Both Ren and Elara could not help but gulp their saliva. The food and drinks looked so tasty to the point that it made them feel hungry immediately.

’Is she from a rich family?’

They could tell that everything she bought was expensive.

Once Virelia finished placing everything on the stone table, she turned to them. "What are you standing there for? Come here and eat with me."

Ren and Elara exchanged a glance before sitting in front of her.

The trio began to eat together.

During their meal, they talked about many things.

This time, Virelia didn’t ask him anything related to the awakener.

Instead, she asked about his family.

The moment she found out he grew up in an orphanage, she told him that she would take care of him in the organization.

They looked like kind and interesting people, so she planned to keep hanging out with them.

"Don’t worry. With me as your protector, no one will cause trouble for you." Virelia said confidently.

"You are only at 1-star like us. How could you have influence here?" Ren asked curiously.

"Well, it’s..." Virelia had no idea what to say.

"Then, I hope you will share delicious food with us again next time." Ren didn’t force her to answer and changed the topic immediately. "As an exchange, I can teach you martial arts or help you get stronger."

"Martial arts?" Virelia raised an eyebrow. "Did you learn from someone famous or powerful?"

Elara also turned to him as she was also curious.

"My master is a powerful person." Even though he had never seen a medal in his master’s house, it was no doubt that he was an extremely powerful martial artist.

"The clue is a beautiful beast." Virelia still wanted him to guess.

The corner of his lips twitched.

’Only that?!’

Normally, people would give more details when giving clues, but she didn’t do that.

"A butterfly?" The butterfly was the first thing that came to his mind since they were known for their beauty.

"More beautiful than that," Virelia replied.

"A...a peacock?" Elara voiced out her guess.

"Correct!" Virelia smiled before taking a chicken thigh and placing it on her plate. "This is your reward."

"Thank you." Elara ate it immediately.

"By the way, what beast did you awaken, Elara?" Virelia asked.

"Moon Swan." Elara gave an honest answer.

"Moon Swan?" Virelia raised an eyebrow in surprise. "So your innate abilities get boosted under moonlight?"

"Un." Elara nodded.

"Then, you can be as strong as this big sister in the future." Virelia knew how special it was because normally, someone only awakened a beast without any special traits or enhanced conditions tied to it.

"I...I will do my best." Elara responded.

Black lines formed on Ren’s forehead after hearing her words.

’Why did she always call herself big sister?’

He knew she was three years older than them, but addressing herself as big sister was a bit unusual, especially when they had just met.

Of course, he would not say it.

Everyone had a different personality. It was just that he had never met someone as unique as her before.

Virelia turned to him when she noticed his gaze. "Hmm? What is it?"

"Nothing." He smiled softly.

Then, the trio continued eating.

Once they were done, they trained together.

Virelia didn’t know what was going on. Normally, she found training boring, but at that time, she was actually having fun.

She even didn’t feel tired at all as if they were not practicing, but playing together.

"Haha! This is really fun!" Virelia, who was lying on the ground, smiled happily.

"You are right." Ren also enjoyed their training.

Elara nodded her head in agreement.

Several minutes later, Virelia and Elara soaked in the hot spring to recover their muscles and improve their blood circulation.

After the trio cleaned their bodies, they went home.

The following day, Ren and Elara traveled to the Aether Organization after helping Sylvie in her coffee shop for an hour.

While they were training hard, Virelia was in a bad mood.

The annoying host kept asking questions different from the ones they sent to her. He even asked about sensitive things such as her private life or the bad rumors about her.

If it were not for the live broadcast, she would have yelled at him and the crew since they had broken their agreement.

’Can I punch his face?’

Virelia glanced at her manager.

Lauren immediately shook her head.

Of course, she could understand Virelia’s feelings.

Actually, she was also furious, but she could not do much since Virelia’s reputation would be ruined if they did something to the host.

After the show ended, Virelia told her manager that she didn’t want to meet him or their crews anymore.

Lauren nodded before finally dealing with them.

Once she got into her car, Virelia took a deep breath to calm herself.
