*Knock...Knock...

Elara knocked on the door.

"Ren, dinner is ready. Let’s eat together." Elara said.

"I’m coming," Ren replied as he got out of bed.

Once they stepped into the dining room, he saw Aveline sitting in a chair.

Aveline’s lips curled up into a smile when she saw him. "Come sit."

"It looks so delicious!" He suddenly could not wait to taste it because the food looked so tasty, especially after the aroma wafted to his nose.

"Let’s eat before it gets cold," Aveline said.

Then, the trio began eating together.

During their meal, Elara kept stealing glances at him because she wanted to know whether he liked it or not.

But since she was too shy to ask it, she said nothing and kept eating her food.

Aveline’s face broke into a smile when she noticed her daughter’s behavior.

Of course, she knew what Elara had in mind, but she stayed silent because it was not the right time to reveal it.

Once they were done, Aveline immediately asked, "Ren, how is the dinner?"

Elara shifted her gaze to him instantly.

*Thump...Thump...Thump...

For some reason, her heart pounded as she waited for his answer.

"Delicious! It’s like food from a 7-star restaurant." Ren was not lying when he said this because the meal was that tasty.

Elara lowered her head upon hearing his answer.

’He likes it!’

A happy smile spread across her face.

"Did you hear that, Elara? He likes your cooking." Aveline was happy for her daughter.

Ren turned to Elara in surprise. "You were the one cooking dinner?"

"Un." Elara nodded. "But mother also helped me."

"She cooked dinner for you because you gave her beast cores earlier," Aveline explained.

"Then, I will keep giving you beast cores from now on," he indirectly told her that he wanted to eat her food again.

"Ren, are you confessing to my daughter right now?" Aveline teased him with soft giggles.

"Haha!" he didn’t answer and only laughed.

Shortly after that, they moved to the front yard and chatted there.

When he went to the kitchen to get a bottle of mineral water, Aveline teased her daughter. "Elara, how about you visit his room tonight?"

Elara turned to her with a shocked expression.

"I can tell Ren also likes you, so don’t let any chance slip by." Aveline behaved like a cupid.

Elara’s surprised face instantly melted into shyness. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶

Just as Aveline was about to say something again, Ren’s voice rang out. "What are you two talking about?"

"Nothing!" Aveline lied.

"Hmm? Why is your face red, Elara?" Ren asked as he sat on the mat.

Elara didn’t answer and only lowered her head shyly.

Ren immediately shifted his gaze to Aveline because he believed it was related to her.

’Did she tease her daughter again?’

Even though he was curious, he kept it to himself.

The trio continued talking.

At 09:30 pm, they went to their rooms.

As Ren was looking at the night sky through the window, Elara suddenly recalled her mother’s words.

She knew it was a crazy idea, but for some reason, her mother’s words kept ringing in her head as if her body gave her a sign to follow it.

’Should I go to his room?’

After thinking for about three minutes, she decided against it.

But the moment she closed her eyes and tried to sleep, her mother’s words appeared in her mind again.

Not only that, but the more she tried to get rid of it, the harder it became to stop thinking about it.

Since she could not push it away, she decided to follow it.

*Thump...Thump...Thump...

Her heart pounded as she made her way to his bedroom.

It was her first time visiting a man’s room at night, so her heart raced uncontrollably.

Once she was in front of his door, Elara stood like a statue as if her previous courage had vanished into thin air.

’I’ve come this far, so I shouldn’t return.’

With a shy face, she knocked on the door.

Ren, who was enjoying the night sky, instantly turned his head. When another knock reached his ears, he got out of bed and opened it.

"Elara?" he was startled because he had previously thought it was Aveline.

"Ren, can... can I sleep in your room tonight?" Her face was as red as a tomato as she asked in a barely audible voice.

When he saw her shy face, he knew it was related to her mother.

"Sure. Come in." Since she had gathered her courage to come to his room, he could not say no because he didn’t want to hurt her feelings.

As she stepped into his bedroom, a feeling of nervousness suddenly arose within her.

Not only that, but every step toward the bed made her nervousness grow bigger as if her feelings were slowly coming out of control.

After they lay on the bed together, her mind instantly went crazy because it was her first time lying together with him in his room.

"Goo...Good night, Ren." She was extremely nervous, so she didn’t dare to look at his face and squeezed her eyes shut right away.

"Hehe." He chuckled softly. "Good night, Elara."

When he suddenly held her hand, Elara opened her eyes in shock.

She looked at their intertwined hands and his face before finally closing her eyes in shyness.

"Hehe." Ren chuckled again.

Even though shyness enveloped her, her heart throbbed with happiness because she could sleep while holding hands with him.

That night became one of the best nights of her life.

She even smiled in her sleep as if she were sleeping on a soft cloud.

The moon set and the sun rose.

While Ren and Elara were still in the dream world, Aveline was washing her face in the bathroom.

She still didn’t know that Elara had followed her crazy idea because she had fallen asleep when Elara was heading to his room.

’I will make egg fried rice for breakfast.’

She headed to the kitchen with a soft smile on her face.

Several minutes later, the food was ready, and she went to her daughter’s room to wake her up.

"Elara, are you alright awake? Breakfast is ready." Aveline knocked on the door.

Since Elara was in Ren’s room, no one answered her.

’Hmm? Is she still sleeping?’

She knocked a little harder, thinking Elara hadn’t heard her.

Since there was still no reply, she decided to open the door. "Elara, breakfast is rea-"

She stopped her words halfway when she found out the room was empty.

’She is not here. Is she already awake?’

She looked for her daughter in the living room and front yard, but didn’t find her.

’Wait!’

She suddenly recalled what she had said to her daughter last night.

’No! It’s impossible! She is a shy girl. There is no way she would really follow my crazy idea.’

Since she could not suppress the curiosity in her heart, she headed to Ren’s room and opened the door carefully.

’Hmm?’

The expression of deep shock blossomed on her face the moment she saw Elara sleeping peacefully next to Ren.

She told her daughter to visit his room just to tease her. Never did she think that her daughter would really do that.

Of course, she was happy because this was a huge progress in their relationship.

’They are sleeping so soundly.’

She closed the door carefully before finally heading back to the front yard with a happy smile on her face.

’I will just enjoy the morning atmosphere and wait for them to wake up.’
