Neither Yu Sheng nor the Holy could react to this moment.

After the first Living Saint leapt into the rift, the second followed closely behind, then the third...

These radiant figures with wings emerging from the curtain only paused briefly in the air before diving unhesitatingly toward the depths of the underground caverns, intersected by abyssal rifts. Amidst the chaotic spiritual resonance, sharp whistles mixed in, and shortly afterwards, everyone heard continuous rumbling from the depths below.

It seemed as if explosions were happening at the bottom of the rift; those descending figures appeared to be trying to break through some barrier.

Yu Sheng saw a brilliant column of light erupting from the ravine, and out of the corner of his eye, caught a glimpse of a white flash, turning his head to find the Artificial Angel beside him also floating forward instinctively.

Yu Sheng was startled on the spot, "Ah..."

He barely had time to raise his hand before he saw the Artificial Angel float back halfway, shaking her head as she drifted.

Though unable to hear her voice, Yu Sheng felt she was mumbling to herself.

... Is the Gate of Eden at the Earth's core attracting those "Artificial Angels"? Could this lone intelligent one be unaffected?

This thought suddenly flashed in Yu Sheng's mind, and at that moment, a shout abruptly interrupted his train of thought, "Come back! You should first obey my orders!"

The Holy suspended mid-air was fluctuating with light, as if the spiritual energy forming his body was greatly disturbed. He hastily severed the connection to that curtain of Holy Light, but by then the Living Saints emerging from it were all heading toward the rift.

An unsettling rumble sounded from beneath and grew louder and louder.

The entire underground cavern began to shake again, the rocks and massive crystalline pillars supporting the cave system showing signs of collapse and cracking.

At this moment, a daze crossed the vague face of the Holy.

In the Soul Wilderness, thunder rolled across the chaotic, dark sky.

A dazzling lightning poured down from the clouds, knocking Luna and several Knights back, but more Knights quickly rose from the tall grass and charged toward the giant figure standing in the wilderness.

A young female knight helped Luna up, then leaped forward and hurled her silver-glowing javelin with all her might.

This javelin might have been casually thrown into a furnace by a Hidden Monastery priest in reality, but in the Soul Wilderness, the silver streak slicing through the sky represented every memory and imagination of childhood and homeland.

The giant figure staggered, its light dimming a little more.

In that instant, Luna suddenly saw a vague shadow emerging from the Holy's body.

It was a middle-aged man with a sorrowful face, hollow eyes, disheveled short hair, and dressed in what seemed to be rugged protective gear of a pioneer.

He floated out from the Holy's spiritual body in confusion, but almost immediately returned to the giant-like frame.

A loud boom echoed in the air, as a particularly tall Brass Knight soared during his charge, wielding a glowing heavy sword he violently struck against the Holy's torso.

The body flickered intensely, and an illusion of a black-haired young man fell out, only to vanish instantly, scattering into countless tiny lights that merged back into the Holy's body.

Luna's vision blurred, and Yu Sheng's figure had somehow already appeared in the wilderness.

"What's going on..."

Yu Sheng murmured to himself, somewhat bewildered by the scene unfolding before him.

The Holy's body began to show further signs of instability.

He staggered, retreated in the wilderness, the Holy Light enveloping him continuously stripping away and rejoining, while the threefold halo above his head extinguished and relit.

His indescribable and unobservable face began morphing, displaying various appearances—elderly, young adults, male, female, and even children.

Just as the knights were assembling, preparing to launch the next wave of attack, the body suddenly erupted in intense light, followed by a thunderous dispersal in the wilderness.

"It's over, it's over, it's over!" Erin's frantic voice startled Yu Sheng awake, as the little puppet climbed onto Yu Sheng's shoulder using her limbs, "The surroundings are collapsing! Soon there won't be any footing!"

Yu Sheng grabbed the small thing that was slipping off his shoulder while looking around.

The entire underground cavern was collapsing, those abyssal rifts spanning the subterranean space rapidly expanding and peeling away, falling into the unfathomable Earth Core below.

A massive crystal pillar that used to support the stone dome suddenly broke, hundred-meter-tall boulders collapsing toward the rift.

And the Holy's figure was hovering over that rift—as if still in a daze, until the crystal pillar struck his head, prompting him to suddenly swing his hand.

Holy Light surged forth, surprisingly severing that massive crystal in half.

Scorching crystal dust scattered towards the black abyss leading to the Earth's core, and the Holy gazed down for a long time, before strangely smiling.

"Ah, so that's it."

Before the words fell, the light around him dramatically dimmed, under the covering of Holy Light, the once magnificent body shriveled in an instant like a mummy.

The next second, he sank, dropping straight into the ravine below.

Yu Sheng couldn't afford to contemplate this scene.

Because the collapsing range of the underground cavern had already extended just a few steps in front of him.

"Hu Li, you take the others up first."

He glanced at the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox and quickly said.

The fox girl instinctively lowered her head: "Savior, you want to..."

Yu Sheng opened his mouth, but before he could speak, the ground beneath his feet gave way.

The next moment, the rock he was standing on collapsed, and he plummeted into the rift valley.

The little puppet let out a cry—not because it fell, but because Yu Sheng suddenly grabbed her collar and swung her back up.

Erin flailed her limbs as she fell into the Great Demon Fox's tail.

Luna rushed over at this moment, peering into the abyss with the Great Demon Fox.

The rift seemed endless, revealing only faint, indistinct dark red glimmers and turbulent streams of light.

Erin pulled her head out from the Great Demon Fox's tail and peered below.

"This might be a bit deadly, oh."

Hu Li and Luna exchanged a glance and turned to leave, Hu Li muttering as she walked, "Hurry, hurry, if we take too long, Savior might survive."

Erin chimed in again: "Hey, what about Ah Piao?"

Yu Sheng was still falling, and suddenly a beam of white light appeared beside him.

He turned his head to see the Artificial Angel flying down with him.

The previously indistinct face, unclear to the point of featurelessness, now slowly became clear, revealing a still somewhat childish visage.

She tilted her head, curiously mimicking Yu Sheng's head-down posture.

At first, Yu Sheng felt touched for a moment, thinking that at least someone cared about his life unlike those at home who only rushed to do something every time he died within the thirty minutes.

Then he vaguely realized that the Artificial Angel seemed to think it was badass how he was flying head down.

"Why are you following me!" Yu Sheng glared at her, "Go follow Hu Li and them—that bunch with all the tails."

The Artificial Angel nodded and flew upward.

To be fair, at least she listens—which is more than Erin does.

Meanwhile, Hu Li had already led Luna and Erin almost to the surface exit.

A gigantic fissure loomed in the cave ceiling ahead, with stones, dirt, and fragmented building structures continually falling through its sides, revealing faint glimpses of the sky outside.

"Hey hey, Ah Piao's catching up," Erin shouted happily, grabbing a handful of fur on the Great Demon Fox's back and glancing behind her, "She's okay."

The Great Demon Fox didn't turn its head: "Of course, she can fly."

Erin tilted her head up: "I can too, just need to pull a string and I can fly."

Hu Li furrowed her brow: "I've always been curious, when you swing around on that string, what's the other end tied to?"

Luna, having been greatly exhausted from the previous battle, also sat atop Hu Li's back, muttering: "Tied on... Erin's... quality."

Erin thought about it but couldn't figure it out.

So she simply stopped thinking, her little eyebrows furrowed, and began to call out in her mind: "Yu Sheng, how's it going there? Is that glowing, pulling thing down there?"

Yu Sheng: "I don't know, I'm still falling."

The little puppet was shocked: "That deep?! Did you see the Gate of Eden?"

Yu Sheng: "I don't know, I'm still falling."

"...Are you lagging?"

"Lagging, my foot! It's pitch black down here, with rocks everywhere. I'm not like Hu Li who has divine sense, or Luna with her radar. I can't see anything below," Yu Sheng's voice sounded a bit helpless. Then suddenly, he paused, "Wait, I think I see something below, there's a faint light."

The continuous fall felt eternal, the dark filled only with falling giant rocks and crystals, upsetting Yu Sheng's sense of time and distance. Then, suddenly, it all came to an end.

He saw an outlet ahead of the chasm, with jagged rocks and a faint light emerging at its end.

He passed through the opening promptly.

The endless inner layer of the shell of the planet hung high above him. The "Star Shell" inside was filled with various rock pillars and quartz, with faint light roaming the surface of this inner crust and repeatedly reflecting off those crystals.

But beneath this inner crust lay a daunting, dim hollow.

Yet the hollow was not empty.

Yu Sheng saw something even darker... it seemed like a hole in the space-time structure, absorbing all light, and its edges gave a flickering visual impression.

And an astounding figure floated above this dark structure.

A colossal skeleton, radiating holy brilliance, devouring shadows.

The skeleton raised its head, calmly watching Yu Sheng fall from the crack in the earth's crust.
