Huangfu Ye looked at Lan Yunxin and almost spat out his drink.

He coughed a few times, wondering where this wild bird came from.

"Cousin, it’s been a while since we last met! Did you miss me?" Lan Yunxin looked at him fawningly, displaying a smile she thought was beautiful.

Beiming Han ignored her and tried to leave. Lan Yunxin attempted to grab his arm, but Huangfu Ye quickly stepped in to block her.

Lan Yunxin looked at Beiming Han going upstairs with some reluctance and asked angrily, "What are you doing!"

"Miss Cousin, mind your behavior; he’s your cousin!" Huangfu Ye reminded her.

"It’s none of your business!" Lan Yunxin glared at him, annoyed.

"You’re right; it’s none of my business. But Miss Lan, I think your taste in fashion is truly remarkable. Your hair, the color – it’s stunning! Your outfit is amazing too; I truly admire it!"

"Of course! I’m the most stylish person," Lan Yunxin boasted, touching her hair proudly.

"Naturally, Miss Cousin is a fashionista. But I have a small suggestion, though I’m not sure if it’s appropriate?"

"Go ahead, I can always correct you if you’re wrong." Lan Yunxin was very interested.

"Your hair, if you dyed the lower half green, it would look even more fashionable!"

"I thought so too, but that stylist refused no matter what! It really pissed me off! I’ll get it done tomorrow."

Huangfu Ye was holding back his laughter so hard that he was cramping.

"I didn’t think your fashion taste was so similar to mine!" Lan Yunxin looked proud.

"I wouldn’t dare, I have no taste at all. You have the most taste, so I’ll get back to work now." Huangfu Ye quickly slipped away. He glanced back at Lan Yunxin’s fiery red hair and got goosebumps all over.

If he had to see that head every day, he’d probably feel like dying.

Beiming Han entered the room where Gu Qingxin was resting and saw her sitting on the sofa, looking distressed.

He immediately walked over to her, sat down, and put his arm around her. "What’s wrong?"

"Nothing, just thinking about my mom." Gu Qingxin gave him a small smile.

Beiming Han noticed her forced smile and gently kissed her forehead. "Just hang in there a little longer, it will be over soon."

Gu Qingxin pressed her lips together without speaking.

Beiming Han gently kissed her lips, and Gu Qingxin immediately frowned, quickly pulling away and asking, "What’s that taste on your lips?"

"What taste?" A flicker of discomfort flashed in Beiming Han’s eyes. He had wiped his lips countless times and rinsed his mouth repeatedly, so how could there still be a taste?

Gu Qingxin frowned as she observed his guilty expression. "Did someone kiss you?"

Beiming Han shook his head immediately. She stared at him, "Then you must have been the one who kissed another woman!"

"No, she kissed me and I didn’t avoid it!" Beiming Han almost bit his own tongue after saying that; he had decided never to admit it.

"You..." Gu Qingxin stepped back, pressing her lips tighter.
