Chapter 383: Chapter 339: Growth and Intelligence (Two-in-One)

Above the boundless Magma Sea of the Purgatory Sulfur Plane.

Jeming stood suspended in midair, a faint halo of light circling his body.

He raised his right hand; in his palm, a newly forged crystal—its structure far more complex and precise than during his Second Level days—was flickering with a dim blue Rune glow.

This was the prototype of a Third Level Talisman Witchcraft Artifact he had developed by combining his Third Level Wizard Elemental Control Power with his deeper understanding of the Spiritual Qi Law.

He locked onto a patch of empty sky in the far distance, and his mind stirred slightly.

Whoosh!

A fist-sized, extremely condensed blazing white light sphere shot out from the front end of the crystal, silently tearing through the sky stained dark red by sulfurous fumes, at a speed that surpassed the limits of visual tracking.

A few seconds later, at the end of his sight, the blazing white sphere suddenly expanded!

That section of airspace seemed to be ruthlessly gripped by an invisible giant hand; the surrounding atmosphere twisted.

Immediately after, a terrifying halo with a diameter of over a hundred kilometers erupted, as if a brief, miniature sun had been forcibly created upon the Plane’s firmament!

Extreme light and heat were released in an instant, bleaching the vast Magma Sea below into dead white.

Only then came the belated thunderclap that felt as if it would tear the Soul apart!

A visible circular shockwave spread madly in all directions with the halo as its center!

Wherever the shockwave passed, a massive vacuum zone was ripped open in the sky, and the sulfur clouds were completely vaporized and swept away.

The originally placidly flowing Magma Sea below was forcibly pressed into a gigantic depression by the terrible pressure descending from the heavens. Along the rim, several-hundred-meter-high dark red lava waves surged outward, crashing as they ran, triggering a Magma tsunami of immense range.

Scorching Storm winds, laden with lethal radiation and Energy shards, swept across a region beneath the blast point as large as a medium-sized provincial district.

Within this zone, any Life or construct below a certain Energy Level would be vaporized in an instant.

Watching this strike that was enough to flatten a whole province from his previous life, Jeming silently evaluated the effect and nodded in satisfaction.

"The power is sufficient. By the classification standards of Low Level civilizations, this strike already qualifies as ’nation-exterminating’." 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎

This level of power had already far exceeded the normal "city-destroying" destructive limit of a Third Level Wizard.

It even surpassed most Wizards who had just stepped into the Fourth Level, enough to rival old seasoned Wizards who had cultivated in the Fourth Level Realm for many years.

This was the advantage born from the combination of his deep accumulation and unique path.

However, his satisfied expression only lasted for a moment before Jeming’s brows slightly knitted.

"Area-of-effect killing is excellent for clearing out rabble, but against peers or stronger individuals, the power is too dispersed and the efficiency actually drops." He carefully analyzed the shortcomings.

"At the current Energy Level, trying to further compress a simple Energy Bullet and increase its penetration has already approached the limits of Energy control."

It wasn’t that further compression was impossible, but the technical difficulty already exceeded the control standards of a Third Level Wizard.

After a brief consideration, he had a new direction.

"Looks like the primary offensive direction of Third Level Talisman Witchcraft Artifacts needs to shift toward ray-type Witchcraft with more concentrated Energy and stronger penetration. Only by constraining destructive power into a line can one break the hard and crush the strong."

Having clarified the tone for his subsequent research, Jeming’s figure flickered, and he returned to the laboratory located at the core of the Plane Array.

As soon as he came back, he noticed that two ’express’ packages, each shimmering with spatial fluctuation marks, had already arrived via fixed-point Teleportation.

Opening the first Space Expansion Bag, he found the bulk of it filled with the Rare Metals, Energy Crystals, and various special Catalysts he had ordered.

These were mostly raw materials supplied to the automatic factories in his inner-body space for mass-producing Third Level Talisman Witchcraft Artifacts.

In the corner of the bag, there were also some peculiar ores and chips emitting faint spatial ripples—precious materials he had purchased to assist his research on spatial knowledge.

Next, he opened the second Space Expansion Bag.

When he sensed the construct inside that radiated a stable yet vast Energy fluctuation, a genuine smile surfaced on Jeming’s face.

It was a Fifth Level Large Elemental Pool, miniaturized in form yet incomparably precise in structure!

To scrape together the astronomical Military Merits required to buy this Elemental Pool in a short time, Jeming had practically run at full throttle recently, using automated Arrays to Refinement enormous quantities of Liquid Refined Gold.

Jeming himself had no issue with that, but Blake, who was in charge of the sales, was worked half to death.

Still, it also let the latter make a killing, so he had no complaints.

His inner-body space, after the expansion during the Nascent Soul Stage and continuous reinforcement, was now comparable in area to a modern megacity.

The spatial barriers were also sturdy enough, fully meeting the conditions to install a Fifth Level Large Elemental Pool.

An Elemental Pool of this Level was already sufficient to act as the core Energy source of a small Plane, supporting it as a powerful mobile Wizard Tower.

Using something of this Level merely to supply the automatic factories and "nest" in his inner-body space was more than ample.

With the prior invaluable experience and knowledge from installing and tuning a Seventh Level Large Elemental Pool, the structure of this Fifth Level Elemental Pool was perfectly clear in Jeming’s eyes.

He only needed to study the interfaces and control system briefly before fully understanding them.

He swiftly dismantled the somewhat cramped Fourth Level Large Elemental Pool in his inner-body space and casually put it up on the Magic Net Trading Platform, waiting for the sale to recoup his costs.

After that, he personally went to work and spent several months carefully installing and tuning this Fifth Level Large Elemental Pool, integrating it perfectly into the Energy network of his inner-body space.
