She turned around, wanting to find a place to hide from the rain, but collided with people running in the opposite direction seeking shelter—

Turning her head, she was met with a familiar, handsome face.

"Feeling guilty?"

"What?" She didn’t catch what he meant.

"Otherwise, why do you look so guilty?"

"..." She wasn’t guilty at all; it was just unexpected.

But... perhaps, she did feel a bit guilty, afraid that he wouldn’t let her sleep on the sofa tonight.

The rain poured heavier, instantly soaking both of their hair. Coming back to his senses, Qin Feimo glanced at the Ferris wheel and then reached out his hand, pulling her as they dashed over.

Feng Jinglei was somewhat caught off guard, just letting herself be pulled along as they ran in the rain.

Initially, he just wanted to pull her under the canopy of people queueing to avoid the rain, but as the rain intensified, the small awning couldn’t provide enough shelter against the wind-driven rain.

The temperature was already dropping, and the rain made it even colder.
