"Hehehe... Damn!" Eunuch Xin cursed out loud when he appeared from the dark glow and saw that there were talismans surrounding him.

The talismans started glowing red and they gave out a loud boom when they exploded. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

Flames engulfed the area, burning everything that was in sight.

A pillar of smoke rose from where Eunuch Xin was standing.

And when the flames died down, the surroundings were charred in a thick cover of dark soot.

"Hehehe..." Eunuch Xin gave out his trademark high-pitched laughter while he gritted his teeth.

His body was engulfed in a glow in the form of a bell.

The bell dissipated and Eunuch Xin leaped towards the direction of where Lin Xuan Qi and Lee He Song went.

Lin Xuan Qi ran as fast as he could and had kept his hammers back into his toad statue.

Lee He Song was following closely behind him, looking back periodically to make sure that Eunuch Xin hadn’t caught up to him.

When he got closer to the jewelry shop, he saw two groups of men in a fight.

It was the house guards from the Sima Family and the disciples from the Six Pulse Sword Sect battling it out.

All of the buildings that were nearby were now totally destroyed by their battle and there were only piles of rubble left within the vicinity.

He couldn’t see who was winning as the situation changed constantly.

One moment the Six Pulse Sword Sect disciples unleashed their First Pulse Strike, taking out some of the house guards from the Sima Family.

And at another moment, the house guards from the Sima Family took back the initiative and they killed off some of the disciples from the Six Pulse Sword Sect.

Lin Xuan Qi’s eyes opened wide when he saw a familiar figure standing at the back with around ten men that were engulfed in a golden glow and some Qing Feng Sect disciples like Zhao Jia Rui and Du Feng with him.

"Master Sima Ye!" He shouted and Sima Ye turned around.

When Sima Ye saw him, Sima Ye was surprised to see him there.

"What are you doing here? It’s dangerous to be outside now." Sima Ye frowned and he came over to where Lin Xuan Qi was with his men that were wearing the Sima Family Golden Armor.

Lin Xuan Qi wiped the sweat off his forehead and he pointed back in the direction of where he came from.

"There is someone that appeared out of nowhere with an eerie smile."

Sima Ye’s frown became deeper and his eyebrows locked together in the middle of his face.

He didn’t expect Eunuch Xin to appear now when they were dealing with the Six Pulse Sword Sect.

There was, however, not much time for him to think and he said, "Get back to the mansion with two of my men. They will keep you safe from harm."

Sima Ye glanced at two of the men that were wearing the Sima Family Golden Armor and they nodded their heads at him.

"Thank you so much, Master Sima Ye." Lin Xuan Qi cupped his hands at Sima Ye and thanked him.

He wanted to get out from where he was immediately but he hesitated for a moment before he said to Sima Ye, "If you ever need to, feel free and come to my mansion to get away from the enemies."

After some consideration, he decided to let Sima Ye know that it was an option for him.

With the gift of him being unbeatable within the compounds of the mansion, Lin Xuan Qi was confident that he could keep Sima Ye safe if Sima Ye came over.

It was the most he could do to help Sima Ye after what Sima Ye had done for him so far.

Lin Xuan Qi couldn’t spell it out directly for Sima Ye and it was the best way he could think of to subtly let Sima Ye come to the mansion in times of need.

Sima Ye took note of it and said, "I will if the situation calls for it."

He thought that it wouldn’t be something that he would need to do as the Sima Family mansion should be many times safer than the Lin mansion.

"Hehehe." When the laughter of Eunuch Xin sounded nearby, Sima Ye quickly glanced in the direction while saying to Lin Xuan Qi, "You should go now."

Lin Xuan Qi nodded his head and he ran in the direction of his mansion with Lee He Song and the men from the Sima Family.

Whoosh.

Out of nowhere, Eunuch Xin appeared with his pale long scrawny fingers in a red glow, lunging in the direction of where Lin Xuan Qi was.

Dang.

Sima Ye slashed his sword at Eunuch Xin and it gave out a loud metallic sound when it hit onto Eunuch Xin’s claws.

"You again?!" Eunuch Xin said while he gave Sima Ye a kick at Sima Ye’s knee.

But his kick was stopped by someone engulfed in a golden glow.

Dang.

Eunuch Xin felt as if he had kicked onto a wall and he cursed out loud, "Sima Family Golden Armor!"

He quickly leaped back from where he was and saw that he was outnumbered against Sima Ye, with Sima Ye surrounded by so many of the Sima Family’s house guards in the Sima Family Golden Armor.

Eunuch Xin peeped over the shoulder of Sima Ye and he saw that Lin Xuan Qi was now long gone.

There was no point in staying around anymore.

"Hehehe, Sima Ye, I don’t have the time to play with you today.

"I shall return the favor when we meet again." Eunuch Xin said while he tried to reach into his shirt for his teleportation talisman.

Sima Ye knew what he was trying to do and he wouldn’t let him.

Whoosh.

He thrust his sword at Eunuch Xin, unleashing a twirling wind towards Eunuch Xin.

Eunuch Xin turned his body in the nick of time and the twirling wind barely brushed past him.

The twirling wind caught some of his imperial eunuch uniform and ripped some of it apart, with the red bits of it fluttering into the air.
