Lee He Song directed most of his Five-Element Qi to his sword, making it emit an ice cold white mist.

He lunged at Lee Qing but when he saw Lee Qing react to him and made a move, he changed direction and leaped to the side suddenly.

Lin Xuan Qi, who was following closely behind him, hurled a bunch of talismans at her and it caught Lee Qing by surprise.

She tried to clear the talismans using her sword but they were already giving out an red glow.

Boom.

Flames were unleashed from the talismans and they engulfed her.

They forced her to quickly use her Artifact to protect herself from the flames.

But the Artifact wasn’t enough to do so.

The yellow glow that had extended out from the bracelet on her wrist surrounding her couldn’t contain the flames.

It was able to scorch her skin with the infused Five-Element Qi.

"Argh!" That made her cry out in pain and she tried to get away from where she was.

However, when she tried to do so, Lee He Song thrust his sword at her feet.

Ice appeared out of nowhere and it successfully trapped her feet.

"Damn you!"

Lee Qing shouted and struggled to break free.

Cracks began to appear on the surface of the ice and she thought that she would be free within a few moments.

But Lin Xuan Qi wouldn’t let her.

He hurled another bunch of talismans at her and this time the talismans gave out a brown glow.

Boom.

The talismans exploded and vines appeared out of nowhere to grab onto Lee Qing’s arms and legs.

Lee Qing gritted her teeth and used most of her Spirit Qi to move her arm so that she could use her sword and cut the vines off her limbs.

Lin Xuan Qi turned his body before he swung his hammers at her head.

Thud!

The attack from Lin Xuan Qi was much faster and more deadly than Lee He Song’s.

His hammers turned into a shimmer and they successfully bashed into the head of Lee Qing.

The sound of her bones cracking could be heard.

Lee Qing stared at Lin Xuan Qi and she couldn’t figure it out to save her life.

Why were they able to overcome her Spirit Qi?

She could feel that with every attack they made, there was something that was much more complete and close to the Dao infused within.

And her Spirit Qi was hopelessly overpowered by it.

She could only draw out whatever Spirit Qi she had to push it back.

Thud!

Lin Xuan Qi didn’t stop and he swung his hammer downwards at the head of Lee Qing.

The hammers were engulfed in flames and when they hit onto the head of Lee Qing, it burned and ripped a chunk of the skin off her face.

"Argh!" That made Lee Qing scream out in pain.

She directed her Spirit Qi to her sword and tried to thrust it forward at Lin Xuan Qi.

Lee He Song saw it and he was ready.

He slashed his sword down at her wrist and it hacked into her wrist.

The blade of the sword could only cut halfway into her wrist and stopped afterwards.

Lee He Song proceeded to direct more of his Five-Element Qi and the blade of the sword emitted more white mist and it froze the wrist of Lee Qing.

Lee Qing, whose face was now bloodied and sunken in, knew that she had to run before she was killed by Lin Xuan Qi and Lee He Song.

Fear finally struck her and if she didn’t do anything drastic, that was how it would be for her.

Lee Qing reached into her shirt and took out something from within.

It was an Artifact that looked like a snake and she injected all her Spirit Qi into it.

The Snake Artifact glowed and a glowing being in the form of a snake appeared out from it.

It became bigger and bigger until it was as tall as Lee Qing.

The snake opened its mouth showing its fangs and it lunged at Lin Xuan Qi.

Dang.

Lin Xuan Qi crossed his hammers in front of him and they blocked the attack from the snake.

He felt something coming at his leg the next moment and he saw the snake trying to coil its body around his feet.

Thud.

Lin Xuan Qi leaped to the side to avoid being trapped and the snake’s head plunged into the ground.

Lee He Song cursed and he gave a hard kick at the wrist of Lee Qing, freeing his sword from it.

Boom!

He swung his sword at the snake’s head but it dodged.

Shrapnel of ice shot out into the surroundings from his attack and the shrapnel pelted at the glowing body of the snake.

They penetrated through the glowing body of the snake but the holes they left behind were quickly filled up again.

Snap.

The snake snapped its huge mouth at Lee He Song but Lee He Song dodged it by leaping away from where he was.

That gave Lee Qing time to be freed from the ice and vines.

Plop.

She knelt to the ground and took another recovery pill.

The wound on her wrist started to heal and close up but the wound on her face was too serious for her to be fully healed.

Lee Qing held her sword in her hand and stared at Lin Xuan Qi with her ghastly look.

Blood trickled down from her face to her body while she panted.

She had never expected to be put into such a position by Lin Xuan Qi and Lee He Song.

Lin Xuan Qi was also pondering on the fact about how tough she was and the myriad ways with the talismans and Artifacts she had to save her life.

If only he had as many talismans and Artifacts as she had and fighting someone from a sect was very much different from fighting a rogue cultivator. He thought to himself silently.

But it was not the time to lament on it and he glanced at Lee He Song and said, "Take care of the snake."

Lee He Song gave him a nod and they prepared to make the next move.

He held his sword tightly and waited for the signal from Lin Xuan Qi.

However, before Lin Xuan Qi was able to do so, a high pitched voice sounded nearby.

"Hehehe, I see that you are having fun."
